Sugar Factory Miami Beach Reviews from The Last Year
My best friend and I loved our experience at the Sugar
My best friend and I loved our experience at the Sugar Factory. The drinks, food, service and ambiance were all amazing. We will for sure return.
Sugar Factory or Chuckie Cheese - which is it ?
it wasn't the food that gave this a poor review, but, i would have gone to chucky cheese if i knew that there were going to be 80% toddlers' parties! It would make sense to put these parties of 12 + in the same general area so the kids could act like kids, but they foolishly spread them out so that the noise and screaming was deafening! This is not the way to have a sunday brunch. to start, walked in and the male who seated us was not pleasant at all - bad, bad attitude. left only one menu that had previously been left on the table. there are a ton of options to choose from, (good point regarding the food) but sharing a menu ???? the kids table of 16 had menus - hmmmmm. Food was ok, but hard to enjoy as the table next to us with one adult and 5 children was trying to con her way into getting free food. obviously, no dress code as the white "wife beater" t-shirts at the bar were the norm. food was ok but couldn't enjoy it due to the noise, the server was delightful, but they need to do some serious work if they want this Sugar Factory to make it!
Great concept. Poor location
This place is a nice concept in the wrong location. We were there on a weeknight and along with other customers had our car towed from a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant . The owners need to post their own personal sign on the door that parking in the adjacent lot is not for their restaurant. The service was terrible that night because the manager had not planned on the number of guests. We waited an hour just for someone to take our order and we had small children. It was awful. On the upside, the food was good, but we couldn't enjoy it with the car having been towed. I had been to the same franchise in Atlantic City, and the taste of the desert was not equal to the real chocolate of the deserts in AC. The outside of the establishment smelled like urine so you could not have enjoyed eating in the outside dining area.
What a fun night
Had such a great time. My daughter wanted to come here with her college roommates to celebrate her birthday. I’m not a big sugar person, but as Dads know, it’s not about me. Ended up having a great time. The menu is so expansive it’s literally impossible to not find something you want. More importantly, the food was all good! Drinks great! Service was the icing on the cake- Yulia and her team were fantastic. There was no request she wasn’t excited to get done. Can’t wait to introduce the rest of the family to this fun place!
If I could give zero stars I would.
This is the sugar factory but we got wild'n out menus. It was a group of us that went here we order our food and it took forever to come out. normally when you order drinks and food your drinks come out first but they didn't they came out when the food came out. We literally sat at the table for 45 mins before our food came out with our drinks. We asked for water and they gave us one round of water and never came back to the table. When my food finally came out the fries were cold and the bread from my mahi mahi sandwich was so tough I couldn't cut or bite into it. when I told them my fries were cold they said they would bring me some fresh ones but when they bought the fries back to the table it was the same fries just dipped in the hot grease. Needless to say I left there feeling more hungry then I did when I got home. All in all the only good thing about this restaurant is the waitress was nice.
Is this even a sugar factory? We were given Wild and Out
Is this even a sugar factory? We were given Wild and Out Menu. The Sugar Factory is known for sweet and fun drinks. Our Drinks were disgusting, the mimosa tasted like straight up ever clear nothing bubbly. The waitress also did not know the menu. It was awful and slow. And what's up with the wild and out BS, don't advertise for sugar and than be a wild and out place.
It is now open as a wild n out sugar collaboration and it
It is now open as a wild n out sugar collaboration and it was horrible. Drinks were poured VERY heavy on the liquor to the point of not drinking. Service was horrible didn't even stay to get our food because it took so long to get our over poured drinks. Sever also didn't know the menu. Over all horrible experience for the price! Any other restaurant deserves your money more than this place.
Horrible.
They definitely entice you with their servers standing out front and promoting their "Happy Hour" that's supposedly happening the entire day, so is it really a happy hour at that point? The inside of the building is gigantic but empty, most of their customers were dining at the outside patio. Despite only having about 7 customers, their service was extremely slow. They have an endless menu of drinks and food. They ushered out the margaritas fairly fast, but the food was a different story. They were quick to come out with our chips & guac, and our server provided an extra side of guac after misunderstanding that we were ordering two separate orders (guac and corn). We later informed her about this since there was a $14 charge on our bill just for a side of guac, which she responded standoffish about how that's what we ordered. When we were finally able to place our order after the server ignored our table several times -- the manager informed us of the lack of ingredients they had for our dishes. We kept having to altar our order. He told us that they didn't have corn, squid, or rice for the sushi rolls. He said that it would take an hour to cook the rice for the rolls, so we opted out of it. Either way, our food took over an hour to come out. We ordered mainly tacos and ceviche, which seem like fairly simple dishes to put together. The heat was blazing and we lost our appetite due to the wait. A simple brunch took three hours to complete, taking away a large chunk of our afternoon. The food itself was whatever. Definitely nothing that would take over an hour to make. I don't know if this is some sort of money laundering scheme or what, but it's obvious that they're dependent on their margaritas more than the food. Also, why is this restaurant labeled "Closed" if they're clearly still in business? I wouldn't support this chain if I was you, not worth it at all.
