Ok ok it's been 5 years since I visited and I'm back w pictures this time. Went yesterday late afternoon this place is always clean I love the ambiance here very mellow cool vibe NOT loud & obnoxious like other joints. Shauna was our server again! She was amazing!Customer service is always top notch here w our experience. We basically had a quick early dinner w mom's and we both enjoyed it the service was 10/10. Ordered ceasar salad, bowl of clam chowda and one of their signature dish fish & chips. The ceasar salad was delicious you could actually taste the egg yolks & anchovies it compliments the creamy clam chowda well. Fish & chips was amazing perfect golden brown color fries was on point some of the best I've ever & the fried fish itself had an airy crispy texture to it super moist flaky fish delicious just amazing! We shared all 3 dishes and it was great will be back Oyster Bar!

Came here on a Wednesday night and the wait was about an hour and a half. They only do bar seating so seats are very limited. This place was good, but not worth that long of a wait. The rice on the side is very grainy and you have to soak it in the sauce. Oysters: 3.75/5- Each piece was really big. They tasted good, but had a gritty aftertaste flavor. I would have preferred if the horse radish and cocktail sauce were separated instead of in one container. Pan Roast Combo: 5/5- This dish was my favorite. It was so creamy and possibly the best pan roast I've ever had. Got level 6, but the creaminess diluted the spice level so I'd go 1 or 2 spice levels higher to get the full spice level. Came with lots of seafood. Must get! Seafood Jambalaya: 4.75/5- This dish was definitely was a close second favorite. The rice was full of flavor and more accurate of the level 6 flavor. House gumbo: 2/5- My least favorite dish. I'd pass on this one. It had a smoky flavor and was salty. This dish held the level 6 flavor the best and also had jalapeños making it very spicy. I'd recommend going down a spice level for this one.

One night at the Santa Fe Hotel Casino turned out to be the best discovery! The hotel itself was adequate, clean, comfy beds and a terrible bathroom, BUT the OYSTER BAR was amazing. We showed up just a half hour to close, which is never a good idea when you're talking oysters and clam chowder, but we were greeted by all staff with smiles and efficiency! The oysters were their seasonal and deliciously fresh! The clam chowder was so, so good and so fresh the potatoes were still a touch al dente. It was absolutely packed with big meaty clams. Perfection! We will definitely be back.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Would definitely be back!! There was a long wait at the Palace Station Oyster Bar, so we opted to come here (first timers!), and boy, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Best of all, NO WAIT!!!! AMBIANCE: Lots of seating! Casino seating (where there can be more cigarette smoke, and more indoor seating in the restaurant, some bar seats). ORDERED: - caesar salad - a dozen oysters - manhattan clam chowder - santa fe pan roast - linguine and clams everything was great and hit the spot! SERVICE: Service was exceptional! We were so impressed with the waitress who served us on 3/09. I forgot her name, but she was the hostess, the bartender, the server... she was running around doing so many things, and did it with a smile on her face! She was great! PRICE: ~ $30pp Food: 5/5 stars Service: 5/5 stars Venue: 5/5 stars
This is my favorite Oyster Bar in Vegas.
Generally at lunch it's not too crowded during the week and service is quick and friendly. But I come here for the fried shrimp basket, a real bargain at $12.99. But if you want a GREAT meal, try the Voodoo seafood pasta. OMG is it delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's not a 5 star environment but it's casual and a great place to eat; good for family's. Reasonable prices and great, friendly service. Recommended for everyone.

I had a decent comp and the poker machines were semi friendly today so I thought I'd hit up the oyster bar. Was seated quickly, Shauna was the server. Ordered the obligatory $1.99 basket of bread. The seasonal speciality oysters I ordered (kumamoto's) were actually pretty disappointing, tiny, pretty much tasteless. To cap it off, there was no little oyster fork served with the oysters . The server said they were back ordered and since people tended to steal them, they had none. So a full size fork that was bigger than the oyster was offered... fail...! I mean seriously, this is an oyster bar in a pretty big city that is part of a pretty big casino/food service operation and they don't have oyster forks? It actually ruined the dish... imagine trying to get a bit of a tiny oyster(which was another negative) out of a shell with a full sized fork. I actually resorted to the slurp method and managed to get the little bivalves out. Ordered Bouillabaisse, which basically saved the meal.. it was pretty good and a decent portion... 'Cmon station .... Fork over the forks! No military discount available which is another negative for me...
This place is a must try for your Seafood.
I've been eyeing it and seen it for a while and finally had the chance to try it. The food is amazing the first time I went I had the gumbo with all the seafood. You can get your level of spiciness and there was so much Seafood. I cannot finish it all. They also have a bar we can order mixed drinks or regular drinks. You can sit at the table top where you can see the kitchen and then cooking. This place is busy but super friendly and wait time is usually aren't too long 30 to 45 minutes is the longest I've seen.. A lot of people also come here for the raw oysters. I also tried their cioppino sooo good. I'm going back to their popular pan roast l10/10 recommended.
Cassandra's team here is top notch.
Maria and Kat are amazing. Every time we go there the whole team is always smiling and working hard! Even when they are super busy they are always smiling and giving amazing service! The food is always delicious! Thank you for making it a great dining experience Oyster Bar Team!!
