Original Chicken Tender - Luxor Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Wow.. Surprisingly great chicken strips here on the South
Wow.. Surprisingly great chicken strips here on the South end of the Strip inside the food court at the MGM Luxor Pyramid. Starting at $17.99, (So it sounds a tad pricey maybe, but read on... ) For the money you get three delightfully tender hand-battered chicken strips coated in a thin delicate crunchy batter accompanied by a big serving of thin-cut (McDonalds-style) fries and a cup of their Cbick-Fil-A/Cane's-clone dressing and a sauce of your choice. We chose Buffalo/BBQ as our free sauce. They also have Nashville Hot, Hot Honey and Ranch sauces too. Order up with the friendly staff, and you get handed a pager. They will cook your meal up FRESH after ordering.. Find a seat in the spotless food court with a tiny helping of mid-century vibe while u wait. PRO TIP: 1) Get an additional chicken strip for just $1 more.. Or better yet... 2) Get TWO additional strips for just $2 more - making that $19.99 for five strips, not a bad deal as most everything else casual seems mediocre or overpriced at this Luxor/Delano/Mandalay end of the LV Strip.. 3) Extra sauces are 99 cents beyond the first two sauces you get with your order. No biggie. 4) The Texas Toast that came with our order was just okay - not quite as fluffy as I like, but still decent. Next time, I'd like to try out their chicken and waffles plate for breakfast. They have a regular chicken burger on a burger bun and a chicken burger on Texas Toast on the menu too. Yep.. definitely worth going back. OCT totally beats the "generic" factory chicken strips you get at most chain restaurants by a long shot.

I have yet to go to this place, I am doing some trip planning for a trip coming up to Vegas in effort to locate reasonably priced quality dining while I am there. That said I don't see much in the way of nutritional or allergen information on the business' website. This is something that I have become to need to be more mindful of since getting older. However I will amend the review once I find out more about the menu, allergens and visit the establishment soon.

Had the chicken sandwich which is 2 chicken tenders on a bun with shredded lettuce and their special sauce. Overpriced but it's Vegas so as expected on price but couldn't anything to the sandwich. Everything we asked they told us no: onion, tomato, cheese, pickles
OK
Went for a quick bite and chose 4 tender option plus drink. Would say the experience was ok, service ok, chicken ok, did not get coleslaw but sure had ordered it. Lemonade was too sweet for me. At $25 not the cheapest option either for one.

The offerings here are solid for a food court joint! I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries. Order came out in a short amount of time. I requested my sauces on the side but the chicken had enough flavor on it that it wasn't even necessary to use them. Look forward to another visit the next I am in town.

We ordered the Original Texas Toast Tender Sandwich & Fresh Cut Fries ($15.99) and Five Tenders with Original Sauce & Fresh Cut Fries ($16.90) to go. The sandwich was good. However, the tenders were packed very badly. The food was simply placed in a brown paper bag with no covering and the sauce on the chicken leaked through the bag. It was a mess. Most of the hot honey sauce ended up on the bag and on my lap, there was barely any left on the chicken tenders. The fries were salty. This was a disappointing experience and I would suggest they improve their customer service and quality for the $36 dollars I paid for both meals.

I was actually amazed at their food quality coming from a food court spot! I'm sure the Original Chicken Tender was the best option compared to what was around (hot dog, pizza, sandwich). I got the new hot honey tenders 3PC combo. It came with fries, toast and their signature sauce. First, the fries were skinny and perfectly fried. Chicken tender though? I actually liked them better than Cane's for a reference. It had a light, crispy fry and the inside was hot and tender. The sauce itself was delicious, sweet at first and then you feel the kick afterward. Only complaint I would have is there was way too much sauce on the chicken. Instead of it being tossed or coated, it looks like they took a ladle and poured sauce all over the chicken. The toast was good, I mean bread is usually always good. And their sauce tasted like canes with more garlic. I saw that they got negative reviews because of service. When we went the service was fine. They were nice and friendly and served our food quickly. The ambiance is loud since it's the food court inside the Luxor. Overall I really enjoyed it and will be coming back if we're ever in the area.
Best option in the food court.
Forget the skimpy Chinese portions and huge tasteless slices of pizza. Get the tenders. We tried the chicken tenders and the sandwich. The tenders were flavorful and crispy. The sandwich was OK. The shoestring fries went along perfectly.
