Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen Atlantic City Reviews from The Last Year
Terrible Customer Service
We arrived without a reservation but were seated at a pub height table. Not our first choice but we understood. After having our water glasses filled we were completely ignored. Servers continuously passed us but we were never acknowledged. After more than 20 minutes we left. We let the hostess know, but all she did was shrug her shoulders and walk by.
Im a bit perplexed, they are open until 10pm, I've even
Im a bit perplexed, they are open until 10pm, I've even confirmed with staff earlier in the day. I showed up at 9:02 to sit at the bar and order my usual favorites from other HK locations but was told by host staff they're closed. I was confused because you can make reservations until 930pm so why was I turned away? I looked at the guests and staff and then I remembered that some things don't change. Luckily Gordon Ramsey pub and grill is in the same building, they serve beef Wellington, and my race, apparently.
Absolutely delicious! I went for my birthday and the food
Absolutely delicious! I went for my birthday and the food was fantastic. The meat of the beef Wellington melted in your mouth and the seared scallops were perfectly cooked. My boyfriend got the salmon and he couldn't stop talking about it the rest of the night. It is very pricy for how little the portions are but the taste made it worth the price

We went to Hell's Kitchen to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Its located on the second floor of Caesar's palace past Gordan Ramsey Steak. Reservations are strongly recommended, if you go on a busy night expect to wait for a bit. I booked a reservation through open table and waited about 10 minutes because we were a little early. You are escorted down the stairs or you can take the elevator down to the main dining area. You will see all the past contestants from the show and the red and blue kitchen in the back just like the show. The decor was very elegant as you would expect from a fancy restaurant. We were given menus and drink orders were taken. I had to order the staple food from the show which is the beef wellington and scallops. Presentation was very nice and plating was excellent. The meat was very tender and cooked perfectly. I really don't eat medium rare steak, but it was not bloody at all. The scallops tasted very good with the pear sauce in the side. The only downside for me was the price as it was very expensive for a family of four people. I expected that, but the total damage was about 450 at the time of this review. This is not something you eat at every week unless you a millionaire. My recommendation to Caesars is to have patrons parking validated if they are eating at one of the restaurants there. We had to pay for the parking and we did not enjoy the casino's. It would nice to have parking included if you are just dining there. Just a thought. Overall, I would say if you are a fan of the show to try this place once in your life.
First, I must say that I am a Hell's Kitchen super fan so I
First, I must say that I am a Hell's Kitchen super fan so I was so excited to try out the AC location. Did not disappoint. The restaurant and kitchen were just like you see on the show, minus the yelling from Gordon. The food was ever so delicious. I was looking forward to trying the lobster risotto....yummmm. The baked Mac and Cheese was so so good. Price point is pretty high but would definitely return and spend my casino winnings again.
Was hoping to see Chef Ramsay screaming in the kitchen, but
Was hoping to see Chef Ramsay screaming in the kitchen, but Hell's Kitchen runs like a Swiss watch so it's clear he's in control. Lobster appetizer is spot-on. Beef Wellington is the best I've had, tender & cooked to perfection. Braised Short Rib is amazing. Dining at Hell's Kitchen is one of those things you should do at least once in your life.
Worth the trip! If you are in the area, I will recommend
Worth the trip! If you are in the area, I will recommend you eat here. There are a lot of other options in AC, but most of them won't worth your money. The hostess upstairs who takes your name and rsvp is not the nicest people and it was such a turned off. This is the only reason why I give 4 but not 5 starts. My server was amazing. I love the ambience and decor Food was great, but do expect a limited variety of options. After all, this is not the cheesecake factory. They serve what is in season and what is best. In summary, I highly recommend this place
If you're a fan of Chef Ramsey and his show, you must visit
If you're a fan of Chef Ramsey and his show, you must visit a Hell's Kitchen! We booked reservations for our family few weeks before coming so checking in and taking us to our table was quick and easy breezy. Staff is very friendly. We were told head chef Alex, show winner, only shows up to the restaurant once a month so he wasn't there unfortunately. The restaurant ambiance is just like the tv show. You get to see an open kitchen where chefs prepares your food order. The red team cooks the appetizers while the blue team cooks the entrees. the only difference here is they aren't completing and screaming. Thanks to other Yelp reviewers, I knew what I wanted to order before looking at the menu. Many complimented on the salmon with the side of Brussels sprouts, and the coconut sherbet three way desserts. I had ordered just that and it was so delicious! I highly recommend it. The crispy skin salmon is seasoned well, and the lentils and bit of salad balanced the plate very well. The roasted brussel sprouts is a hit in my book! The char mixed with the sweet and savory vinaigrette lime seasoning was something. My dessert came with a bit of show when the liquid is poured on the it. The sherbet was a great way to end the night with their drip coffee.
I took my family to dinner her in August for my mother's
I took my family to dinner her in August for my mother's 60th birthday. We were a party of 5 and it was all of our first times at Hell's Kitchen. We sat right near the kitchen but other than the restaurant having two different color lights (red and blue), there was really nothing at all exciting about their dining room. We ordered appetizers - scallops, shrimp cocktail and the meatballs. They were all fresh and delicious. My mom liked the scallops so much that she ordered another one as her entree. As entrees, we had the chicken, beef wellington and short rib. Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were our side choices. We all devoured our meals and saved enough room to share the strawberry shortcake and chocolate cake desserts. The server placed a candle in my mom's dessert which was a nice touch. Over all, the service was good, the food was delicious but the prices were absolutely not worth another visit.
Our server Blaise was really nice and his assistant Jeff
Our server Blaise was really nice and his assistant Jeff was amazing as well. The food menu is limited and mostly steak. I enjoyed the filet and I will say it was one of the best I have ever had. The Mac and cheese was delicious. We also had the beef Wellington which was pretty good but not as good as it looks on TV. Overall experience was great.
Party of ten.
We sat for quite some time before being helped. They handed the table one drink menu to share amongst the 10 of us. Okay so the service wasn't stellar but baby that food was the bomb!!! I loved the Brussels and Mac and cheese the most. I was looking forward to trying the French onion soup as it was listed on the website but it's no longer on the menu. The website and what is actually offered is not in alignment. I would go back for the food but hope some things are fixed before I go back.
Note to Gordon
Gordon, you need to be aware this restaurant is using your name! No way this could be associated with you. This is Caesars primary restaurant, located in the lobby area. For dinner, firstly the hostess was terrible, extremely slow to seat guests, the waiter was very friendly and helpful with the menu. I had the wings to start and they were good, my wife had the calamari and this was awful, must have been frozen (surely not from Gordon!). The mains were disappointing, definitely not British pub food! I have the steak and ale pie, it was very nice but it is not served with anything (this is not how the British serve a pie!). My wife had the chicken sandwich, this was terrible (we had to ask for salt and pepper to add some flavour). Looked and tasted like something from a cheap take out. Didn’t chance the desert! We went back for breakfast (no other choice apart from a deli in the hotel), hostess was much better and good waiter too. The issue is the food, I had the farmer’s breakfast and my wife had the Salmon bagel, it was all just lacking in flavour, the home fries must have been frozen…… Gordon, you need to sort this or close it (perhaps it’s a candidate for kitchen nightmares!)
Amazing!
We have always wanted to eat at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and we finally got the opportunity staying at Caesars. When you enter the hotel check in area you cannot miss it, it’s inviting. We were able to get seated on the 2 times we went during our stay with no wait. The service was great. Anything beef related was amazing. Such as the beef Wellington, Wagyu skirt steak and Angus NY Strip. The chicken pot pie was ok but seemed too plain compared to the beef dishes we had so I will try the Shepards pie next time I go. The hot tea they serve is delicious and smooth. We also had calamari and it was perfect. You will leave here wanting to try more because the flavor does hit in all the right ways. Well worth it and after watching Ramsay’s shows on how much he cares about the quality of dishes made, this restaurant proves that. We will be back!
This place so underwhelming. Our expectations were so high but our experience was far from good.Bad,Bad, Bad
This place so underwhelming. Our expectations were so high but our experience was far from good. We assumed fish & chips from a British themed pub should be good (not even offered malt vinegar). Please don’t order this because it was terrible. Let me say again “TERRIBLE” appetizers were late night dinner like & others in our party had different sandwiches (honey glazed chicken, Rueben & burgers) no one enjoyed their experience. I’ve had better experiences at Applebees, TGI Fridays & Chili’s. Save your money. Extremely overpriced for the quality level of the food. Don’t do it
At the bar at GR’s Pub & Grill
We were staying at Caesars and wanted to stay close. We’ve eaten here before Covid but it’s been a while. I read the reviews on the price hikes but sadly it is what it is. Well, we sat at the bar. The staff was great, very cheerful and attentive. She suggested a beer that was awesome. We ordered the price fix to split and added the Mac and cheese side. Everything was super. That Mac & Cheese was big enough to split and was as good as we’ve had. From watching all the chefs shows I wanted to sample the Wellington, it did not disappoint. As good as I was hoping BUT the onion soup was like nothing we have had EXQUISITE. All in all a really good experience. We will go back during this stay to get the soup and Mac & Cheese The prices are up there but that has to be expected at a place like this. At the end of the day it was well worth it. Also, we commented about liking the beer and the bartender mentioned happy hour at 4 when the beer is only $5. They prices are
Price increases are insane. Beware.
We have been here many times because we are locals. But have not been in about 5 months. Husband and I cannot believe the increase in prices on everything. We it the cauliflower appetizer which is $5 more at $17.99. And split the Dubliner which was $23.99 for a corned beef sandwich! Now the kicker when we got the bill. Both of us were drinking grey goose. Husbands on the rocks. Mine with cranberry. They were $21 each. So our bill was $130! It had nothing to do with the bartender I know. But I had to ask. He said prices of drinks are changing every day. Going up and up. He did not understand it either. Says it is cutting into tips because people are getting mad that the drinks are so expensive. Needless to say that will be the last time we will visit there. Plenty of other places we frequent that do not charge over $20 for grey goose.
Great food & service
Just arrived at Caesar’s. Went to room, unpacked, walked around casino a few minutes. Was hungry so stopped in & sat at the bar. Ordered a Mind the Gap. Sidney put a little less passion fruit in it so it wouldn’t be so sweet. Amazing drink. Ordered the calamari and pork belly from the starters. Just wonderful. Light and flavorable. Sauce with the pork belly made it perfect. Sidney was the perfect host. Attentive, made wonderful suggestions, new all the answers. I definitely will eat there again many times.
Worth the price and wait.
The cheeseburger with French Fries was worth every penny, and the charcoal taste of the burger was perfect. The fries were very good and I could not finish them. Hey, Gordon Ramsay, I will come back to your restaurant, I will have a steak next time. The meat in your burger was fresh and it was the best burger we ever had.
Excellent lunch
OMG, saw the duck poutine advertised (don't remember where I saw it) I had to try it. Waited over an hour before they opened for lunch. The duck was sooo tender and flavorful. The best poutine I've ever had! You will not be disappointed! It's an appetizer but it was huge, a full bowl full! Filled us up. Can't wait to go back!
Cozy atmosphere
Absolutely enjoyed GR pub in Caesars! I had the burger and fries while hubby had the salmon and risotto. We shared the PB and J bar which so delicious!! Highly recommend that desert as it was nothing like I expected but oh so worth it!! The pub was nice and cozy and not crowded at all. We didn’t have reservations but walked right in.
Good food - good service
My husband and I were staying at Caesars for the weekend and decided to check out the Gordon Ramsey Pub for breakfast and lunch. The food options were pretty good and the portion sizes were great for the price. The staff was friendly and provided good service. We did have an incident when we came to the restaurant for lunch. When we were seated we noticed that there was something leaking from ceiling. We did not want to sit through lunch and deal with this. At first it seemed like the staff did not want to accommodate our request to move even though the restaurant was not overly crowded. There were plenty of other tables available so I am not sure why they were reluctant to accommodate our request to move. We eventually were moved to a new table and were able to enjoy our lunch.
