Absolutely shocked this carries the Faena name. To echo other reviews, this hotel is essentially a hostel. There is no thought or warmth put into the rooms. After reading several reviews here I had requested a quiet room away from the restaurant. It was a back King room that did not have functioning windows. There was zero anything on the walls, just four white walls with one small window that could not open, the window faced a garbage alley. No curtains, like photos; no rugs on the tiles (which were incredibly slippery after a shower…to boot no bathrobe or slippers). There was hair still on the bathroom tiling, in the shower, stains on the duvet cover. The bed was extremely creaky and and the box springs were two twins put together rather than a king. Nothing could be done since the hotel was booked so I moved. The woman who checked me in was very kind, but is all by herself when it comes to taking care of these issues. You are better staying at The Confidential or Cadillac. Both excellent clean hotels nearby with the same price point.
Be the first to ReplyCasa Faena is a scam!
A SCAM! This hotel, Casa Faena is a scam, people be careful! they do massive marketing on all the booking sites and use the brand of their luxury hotel Faena calling themselves Casa Faena and offer something more boutique with a normal price, but not cheap at all, they call it "our little sister" in fact there is no connection between them and the luxury hotel that they said they are related to, So unrelated that they didn't even put a sign with their name outside and they've been there for many years and are hiding under the name of another hotel (see photo)something more boutique with a normal price, but not cheap at all, they call it "our little sister" in fact there is no connection between them and the luxury hotel that they said they are related to, So unrelated that they didn't even put a sign with their name outside and they've been there for many years and are hiding under the name of another hotel (see photo) The place looks like a hostel with some decorations, the entrance is through a restaurant which is noisy in the evening and you can hear the people from the rooms, the reception is a kind of strange counter at the end of the restaurant, everything is not up to standard and very simple, not like a 4 stars hotel supposed to be. the rooms are old in the shower there is no place to put even a toiletry bag, if you want to sit down and drink Something, the hotel does not serve anything, we were assured by phone that the hotel has a beach chairs and umbrellas the most important thing in Miami, since the hotel does not have a pool, we called specifically to ask and when we actually arrived it turned out that we had to carry a chair and a towel, the hotel does not have a beach and the hotel is not on the beach at all so it is necessary Walk 10 minutes with roads and carry chairs. You are sitting in a public place with a folding chair, for the price we paid we could have taken a hotel with a pool and breakfast and a private beach with lounge chairs, we paid an exorbitant price for the brand and got a hostel with a different name, simply cheating In addition to everything, the internet in the room did not work and we had important conversations at work and we could not have them, we had to go to a cafe in the rain to have the conversations when we paid for a 4 star hotel. We spent 3 days on the Internet and they told us that a technician was coming, who never arrived! Faena are all over the street, a clothing store, an art store, designer stores, a luxury hotel, everything has their name big on the outside, why isn't there a name here? The booking is with Casa Faena, As if they are ashamed of this hostel, so why are you deceiving people as if this hotel is part of Faena when outside there is the name of another hotel? The main thing is that they put a book by the founder Alan Faena in the rooms. Shame.
Be the first to Replypoor !
the pillows were the least fluffy i ever felt ! sweet spot BUT I received a Gift certificate for a few nights stay in exchange for working for this house ! no expiration dates indicated impossible to reach the person in charge with lots of time ahead i requested a date > was told fully booked to then find out myself that there is availability via one of the platforms ! just not fair to be treated that way ! just cheap & unprofessional sad for 2023 ! no good karma
Be the first to ReplyAll perfect
All perfect . Perhaps the only thing that is a little annoying is having to carry chairs and an umbrella to the beach. An extraordinary library together with the Faena aroma give a very cordial welcome and an air of having arrived home. Beautiful rooms. All perfect

We hosted a work event at the Faena (right across from Casa Faena) and some of our team stayed at Casa Faena. This hotel has such a fun, Lively vibe. The rooms are large and bright and has everything you would need. The best part is the location. You’re right in mid-beach in the heart of the Faena district. One down side, the hotel is very noisy at night. The rooftop club is really loud. Casa Faena is in my opinion a great party spot for young people. But if you’re looking for a calm, chill atmosphere this may not be for you.
Be the first to ReplyCasa Faena checks all the boxes at incredible price
Can't speak highly enough about our stay in Casa Faena this past weekend! Stayed on the 3rd floor, the room was spacious with beautiful water views! Location was impeccable, one block from the beach and a block from Crema Cafe. Staff was AMAZING. Kind, helpful, and perfect room service. Security guard was astute. The lobby is stunning and the rooftop lounge was great. Took too many pics. Will be staying here every time we come back to Miami!
Be the first to ReplyIf you don’t like sleep, this is your place.
If you are only looking for a roof over your head and not to sleep, this is your place. Our room was under the rooftop bar and we felt like we’re in a bed in the middle of a nightclub. The room literally vibrated. We asked to be moved and was told no, and then was given ear plugs. Asked if we could have a couple hours late checkout (the least they could do after 2 nights of no sleep) and was told no. I asked if I could speak to someone about it and they finally got back to me 5 minutes before checkout. This was a birthday trip for my Mom. Couldn’t have been worse and I was mortified by what I had to put her through.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a gem of a hotel!
When we first arrived, we were greeted with a smile by the front desk person, Chiara. She welcomed us and gave us a room key. We went to the room, but it was right by the elevator. I went downstairs to ask for a room change, and Chiara kindly gave us a different room that was away from foot traffic. When later asked Chiara for beach towels and chairs, and walked across the street to the beach. Chiara made it all so easy and so pleasant. When we asked her for dinner recommendations, Chiara again rose to the occasion and sent us to Mango's on South Beach. That place was a blast- with showgirls dancing on the bar! The hotel has a beautiful 1900s Spanish flavor and is magically appointed. The aesthetic is hip/modern/classic/casbah - perfect for my 17 year old daughter and me. The room was clean, the bed was lovely and the Lavazza in room coffee was perfect! The bar/restaurant/rooftop bar was closed on Monday night, so I can't comment except to say that it looks like it would be a great time. Cafe Creama , a mere 300 yards away, was a perfect substitute. When we checked out of our too short stay, Gabriela was kind and made me sad that we had to leave for the rest of our trip. She was wonderful. This is a great historic gem if you are ready to leave behind the big box hotels like Hyatt and want an experience that will make you feel like you are really on vacation.
Be the first to ReplyRustic/Rundown House in Miami Beach
Spent 7 nights at Casa Faena in Jan 2023. The following is the good and the not so good in terms of experience: The good: 1. Gitano – the restaurant is AMAZING and in fact we went twice 2. Location 3. Spacious rooms 4. Rustic/rundown homely feel The can do better: 1. The place is run down. It needs maintenance e.g. bathroom door didn’t close, bathrooms really old, drainage needs to be checked as we had a sizeable cockroach sharing our bathroom one early morning (RIP). 2. Bedroom had bare minimum and nothing like the photos except the bed. Our room: ‘King Studio Suite’ had a patio but you get in if you squeeze and it was so narrow that the door wouldn’t open properly. 3. The hotel is not beachfront but very close. It is in front of a building site (cannot do much about that) on Collins Ave (road traffic). 4. The booking was placed in Sept 2022 for Jan 2023 stay. Upon arrival (10 hour flight + 8 hours delay) we were greeted with: we have downgraded you for the first night as we are overbooked (apparently this happens regularly according to one of the staff). We were told that they wouldn’t charge for the first night and we could speak to the manager. We were tired and accepted the room despite the inconvenient of unpack-pack-unpack. Upon checkout they denied that the first was complimentary! 5. If you are after an early night this place is to avoid. The music from the restaurant and the roof top bar made the room vibrate from 7pm to 10:30pm. It was not an issue for us as we planned to be out during the evening. 6. There is no beach club but the hotel provides chair, towel, and umbrella from front desk to carry by the guest to the beach. When asked if we could use the Faena sunbeds we were informed that the rate was $150 per person per day. As an ACCOR Platinum member, I believe that overall this place needs a good look at itself in the mirror and it shouldn’t be even part of ACCOR.
Be the first to ReplyCASA FAENA Illegal Billing Practices & Harassment
This review is 100% accurate regarding CASA FAENA and their illegal billing practices and harassment, done over a five month period. Booked and prepaid with Expedia March 2022 for a two day stay at Casa Faena in May 2022. Was greeted by name as I walked in, very nice property. Day after checking out was charged $800 to my credit card without my consent. Staff claimed "there was no reservation" LIE. Had to contact Casa Faena 22 times over the next four months, each time was told the $800 for two days was my responsibility because "Expedia never paid us and there was no reservation" LIE. Casa Faena staff made their internal issue my issue and my responsibility by lying and telling me there is nothing they can do! Casa Faena billing staff continued to charge my credit card, even four months later! Was continually told, "we weren't paid, so you need to pay $800 for a $400 stay". Not until I posted a 100% factual review of their illegal billing practices on another site, that upper management became friendly and finally refunded my money SIX MONTHS LATER, emailing "you should have never been charged in the first place". This is what I had stated on 22 phone calls with Casa Faena billing department over a five month period, all without resolution! This is beyond dishonesty! Now I am receiving harassing emails and a phone call from Faena management saying I need to remove my review, because "we did our part and refunded your money, now you need to do your part" The audacity of these crooks! I invite Casa Faena to reply to this review and explain their actions... DO NOT TRUST CASA FAENA!
Be the first to ReplyComfortable room, artistically renovated historic hotel, experience marred by noise
This is a charmingly restored historic hotel. The room was comfortable and staff was pleasant. However, there are two restaurants/bars in the hotel that play loud music late into the night. This hotel has a central atrium that is open to all floors, so all rooms open to the atrium space. The loud music from the restaurant/bar extends into speakers in the atrium, so my room vibrated from the volume. The other thing to be aware of if you're thinking of staying there, which is something the hotel has no control over, is there is intense construction happening across the street. One building appears to be a historic structure that has been gutted, and there is a building being built next door to it. The sound of drilling into the ground for foundation pilings was deafening. This hotel says it is oceanfront, but actually is across busy Collins Ave from a parking lot that then leads to the beachwalk before you come to the actual beach. The hotel itself is not oceanfront, it is on a busy street. The beach in that location borders the construction sites, plus there is construction going on actually on the beach itself for structures related to Art Basel, which happens in December. A crew member on that construction says that it is a weeks-long build before the actual event happens. So there is no quiet on that part of the beach during the day, which is when most people go to the beach. This quaint, artistically-renovated hotel has the potential to be a lovely retreat, but all that is spoiled by the intensity of noise from the restaurant/bars in the hotel and the extreme construction noise across the street.
Be the first to ReplyCute hotel but very it’s not well clean and I got an allergy attack cause of the accumulated dust everywhere
The check in was a disaster and the computer was down for almost 2 hrs. 1st room smelled cause it has been closed for too long. I changed rooms and it was better. Except that I found a bunch of hair, 4 lightbulbs weren’t working and the place it’s rundown. Bathrooms is tiny and super old. Closet is great and big. Some of the bedroom furniture was broken, peeled or just too old. They need to improve cleaning the rooms and actually make the beds. They never change the sheets and they just put the duvet back on without checking if sheets are dirty as mine were and they didn’t even realized it Their phone has not been working for months so if u need to contact them it has to go through the FAENA hotel and they never answer at Casa FAENA (total pain) In general the people working at it have none to little experience. However they are nice. There are tons of things they need to improve. Pluses are Across from the beach Downstairs is done with great chic taste Good rooftop for drinks There is a restaurant inside called Gitano Nice crowd relatively for miami beach Nice big beds.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing stay in Miami
Casa Faena is a cute, Spanish style inn with an incredible location in the heart of mid-beach and easily accessible to all that is exciting over at the iconic Faena! The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is beyond friendly and so accommodating- Jorge, Wallace, Robert, Vannina and the whole team are exceptional and truly made my stay. Gitano and Crema are incredible options for F&B if you don't want to venture too far and the Faena Bazaar is a must for shopping:)

This hotel is a find in a great location only seconds away from a quiet spot on beautiful Miami beach. It is walking distance from a wide variety of restaurants and major resorts so I was able to enjoy any kind of meal I wanted. I really liked the friendly and courteous staff. It is quite a charming low rise with a quaint lobby and feels like a resort. There are no frills but I provided some suggestions to the staff that a coffee/tea & toast serve yourself would be great in the morning. A desk with a plug would be great in the lobby too. Thank you I love this hotel.
