Incredible fried chicken
Let me start with the only negative I could find: the restaurant does not offer dine-in service and only provides take away service. Apparently, dine in service has not been offered since the pandemic. That's literally my only negative. We arrived at Busy Bee, to find a very friendly and pretty Ambassador standing outside. Her greeting on the hot asphalt was warmer and more genuine than in most restaurants! After perusing the qr-scanned menu, we ordered what Busy Bee is famous for: fried chicken. Our 2 half chicken dinners (4 pieces each) included 2 sides each. We opted for mac and cheese, candied yams, mashed potatoes and stuffing. As we were in between appointments, we happily ate picnic style in our minivan. Popping open the food containers, you are immediately hit with an assault to the senses. Visually, the dinners looked scrumptious. The smell of every dish authentic and instantly drool worthy. Finally, the first bite of chicken, which I can describe as the closest I will ever be to a hallucinogenic experience. That chicken!!! It was insanely crispy on the outside and super moist on the inside. ,even the breast, which is normally the piece I avoid. Each of the sides was "slap your mama" good. I genuinely cannot pick my favourite.... Regardless of where you will enjoy your takeaway order, don't make the mistake of skipping this famous institution while in Atlanta. They fully deserve all the praise and flowers received from their Michelin listing and James Beard award.

Unfortunately, a great dining experience was not in our cards; it's take-out only, ...the dining room never reopened after COVID. We were greeted and ordered at the entry of the restaurant. Their wall of fame was filled with photos of celebrities and dignitaries who have dined at Busy Bee. I was not allowed to take photos of the interior, but I recall seeing photos of Coby Bryant and of Joe Biden. The food was wonderfully seasoned. I had smothered pork chop, collard greens and brocolli casserole. The two meaty chops were covered with a gorgeous brown gravy and nestled on a bed of rice, a classic meat & three. I acknowledge that inflation has increased the price of all foods, but the cost of three meals at a take-out restaurant appeared excessive. The food was excellent. Service was good. Ambience was lacking because of take-out only policy, so value suffered... 4 out of 5 stars.

The workers looked like they did not want to be there. I wanted to be able to give this place a chance but they couldn't deliver at all. I'll pass folks on this overhyped spot. The search continues for Atlanta's best soul food. On to the next one!!!

This was the PERFECT spot, especially for lunch in the middle of my workday. Easy to order, quick service, and super nice staff! Another spot in Atlanta that I had to visit it was SO GOOD!! The fried fish and baked beans were on point and really hit the spot.

Came for the College tour, left feeling completely satisfied! When you visit a city, sometimes the best spots aren't in the mall! In town for an event and was walking to the car. In the air I could smell it. So I kept walking..... boom found it. Imagine soul food, the fast way! Fried chicken, greens, Mac'N Cheeze and yes candied yams! Can I get to the yams, sweet yams!!! Yes walked away singing that Masego song it was like fast food with I just love Atlanta's food! It's like a warm hug, from nana!

My favorite are the smothered pork chops. My kids loved their chicken. My husband had the veggie plate and loved it! Great options for the entire family. Order ahead to avoid standing in line. People are not allowed to sit inside the restaurant. You have to take your food and go lol

Michelin star and James Beard Awards.this place is a victim of their own success . I wish I'd been here before all awards Chicken was very over priced .I won't ever come again nets goto Popeyes and you can eat inside.
This is the most disgusting place I ever went to.
You can't go inside the restaurant. The food is horrible and the prices are over the board. The health department needs to go inside. The food made me sick for days. This place needs to be shut down revel and start over.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Yes unfortunately they are finding more and more ways to lock up sellers money. Sell thru rate, refund rate, limiting withdrawal amounts ler day and per month (which for me are the same number which makes no sense). Lot of sellers leaving as you can see from the lifetime sales not really increasing. Most posts on here are frustrated sellers which is not a recipe for success

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
