I've been to Buca di Beppo a few times, but it had been a while. Since, the announcement of their closure happened; I decided to eat again. The wait was long because they were understaffed. The ordered their famous half-pound meatball with spaghetti, tiramisu, and chocolate chip cannoli. The spaghetti and meatball are a simple dish, and it was pretty good. The tiramisu was tall like a tower, and it was creamier rather than coffee. It needed more coffee flavor. The chocolate chip cannoli were nice. A crispy thin shell, and they were filled up with the sweet cannoli cream. Their house bread with an olive oil & balsamic vinegar sauce to dip was great. It's sad that Buca Di Beppo is closing but I'm hoping they find a new location and re-open. I would definitely go again. Only issue was the long wait but it's understandable. Thank you Buca di Beppo staff.

Arrived 5 min prior to time and was told there was no reservation. Showed my email and they were able to seat us. Although they were not busy (lots of empty tables) they sat us in in between 3 parties. They were out of a lot of items but I understand as they will be closing soon. We were told no pizzas, prosciutto, stuffed mushrooms or stuffed shells. Then we were told no soft drinks?!? Put in an order for appetizers, then a little later put in our food order. It took 1 hour for the appetizer and bread to come out. 2 tables that were sat well after we put in our order had their food arrive before our appetizer came. One water short for about 45 min before the last cup arrived. Got our food and we're still short one set of utensils. I went to area where they keep the cutlery and there was no forks. Ended up taking a set ;with permission from the busser) after goin into another dining room. Food was pretty good but it seemed like our server was avoiding us. Asked for additional bread after asking several times for it. On the way light I did see a table who came in after we got our food have an order of Brussels with prosciutto. SMH they told us that wasn't available. Not the best experience but what can you do.

Went for the first time, and HNL location for the last time this weekend and it was top tier. Shout out to Jonathan my server, he was so accommodating to my table's needs. He is so kind and engaged, he made a world of a difference to our experience. The ambiance is so unique all throughout the restaurant; including the restroom! (perfect for mirror selfies or digi cam pics) Food is good, whatever sounds good is good LOL. Thank you so much to the nice lady for taking pictures for me and my booth! I love Jonathan!!! hes so chill
I totally get why this place is closing.
Terrible customer service. We went on a Saturday right when they opened and they only had outdoor seating available. Restaurant looked mostly empty and it was windy so I didn't want to sit outside. Two hosts at the podium, one was very nice and the other was a completely scatterbrained, he asked us multiple times if we were going to dine in, even after I went to the to go area to make a take out order. Even the other employees were looking at him like what are you doing you just asked her if she was going to wait to be seated. I would've just left but I wanted to use the gift card I had before they closed. The only saving grace to this experience was the lady that was working in the to go area. She was very sweet and helpful. Order took forever to be made, over 30 minutes which is crazy considering it was not busy. Took food home, it was just ok.

Not that this review matters because they are closing this location, BUT.... service was absolutely horrible. Food was (for the most part what we received) was good. The server was less than stellar, borderline disrespectful in my opinion. I mean, she was very nice (for the most part in the beginning), but quickly showed the lack of care or concern because the location is soon going to be shuddered. Went in for lunch, ordered simple items, pasta and salads. This was right around 2:00pm so the place was not busy at all. Seemed simple enough so I thought; but the meals came out 10 or so minutes apart. Salads essentially "NO Showed" until we asked about them twice. Refills of drinks were non-existent until we flagged down another server from a different section. When the salads finally did come out (some 25 minutes after we ordered) we declined them as we were just about finished with lunch. The server appeared to get an attitude, walked off with the salads and still not refilling the drinks we had asked for. At this point, it made no sense to keep requesting anything as it was obvious that she was aware that the same care given to me and my party was the same care given towards her tip. When it was time to pay, her demeanor changed and she stated that she had "removed the salads from our check". Strange statement and declaration to make for something we never even got or had eaten. What's sad is, we have always enjoyed this place and have frequented the restaurant more often since the announcement of pending closure. We wanted to show aloha by tipping at a higher percentage than normal, especially since they were closing; but this was not to be. Unfortunately, my last memory of this place won't be the "family style" food or the amazing decor, it's the service or lack there of. Aloha Buca, for the most part it was awesome. Hate to see you go, but sometimes it's for the best.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
