This place is definitely a wow! I went with a small group, and we ordered a variety of things to eat. Standouts for me were the nigiri and the cod. This restaurant has a very impressive alcohol menu as well. It may be worth spending some time with the menu before you go to make the decisions easier. Our server was excellent. I would absolutely come back and would love the opportunity to introduce this spot to others.

Everything I had at Zuma was unbelievable, including the service. I loved the vibe and couldn't say better things about everything I had to eat. I started with a lychee martini and it was so balanced and yummy. The fried tofu was the best tofu I've ever had. The rock shrimp was perfectly prepared. The green tea banana cake was one of the best desserts I've ever had. Zuma will not disappoint.

Nice ambiance and the food was really good, just tastes really fresh. I had the skirt steak cooked medium to perfection, the scallops were great and I also had a bite of my friend's baked potato that was really good. I would definitely go back and want to try other items as well

Oh this place was gorgeous! Beautiful modern and classy decor. Great combination of wood and steel. A feast for the eyes. On to the food. We had almost everything on the menu. Check out the pics. The stand-outs for me were the mushroom rice hot pot, the lobster, the back cod and the seabass sashimi. Now you may say.. well those look like normal Asian fare, but they were absolutely amazing flavors combined into the seemingly simple offerings. There may not be another Asian fusion spot that can compare to this one. It was simply fantastic. Our multiple servers were so thoughtful. We had to rush them because we were going to see a show and they happily obliged but you should go here when you have a couple of hours to savor the flavors! Not saying that it takes forever to get your selections, we just ordered a lot of food! Don't order a meal for yourself to enjoy alone. These dishes are made to be shared family-style so everyone can taste the heavenly goodness. Enjoy!

Met up with my friend Cindy/allan here for dinner while we were on a Vegas trip. Foods was superb! Allan order tons of his favorites and I had the baked lobster, a bit on the small size but delicious. The drinks was out of this world and strong. The presentation was expected of restaurant in Vegas, classy, fun, hip. Great place to hang out w friends or date spot. Service was superb as they are very attentive with their customers

Hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants on the strip. A single destination offering a choice of sushi, robata skewers, and regular high-quality food! The dishes are served to be shared. This place was packed on a Wednesday, so make reservations. We didn't have reservations, and they accommodated us by seating us in the bar. Every dish we ordered was incredible. The old-fashioned drink was perfectly done with a Single ice cube. Their gyuniku skewers were delicious. The ribeye was tasty. I had a few sushi and rolls, and they were excellent quality and fresh. The service was exceptional, and they checked with us regularly. Their desserts were impressive. They had their chocolate cake special, and it was tasty. The restaurant ambiance was good and not loud. I would recommend this place when you visit Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyThe place is legit good.
Not your typical Vegas restaurant where only the presentation is grandiose with no substance. The sushi items like uni is the Japanese variety (not necessarily better than the Santa Barbara version) but FedEx costs money!, and fatty tuna tastes very good. The grilled scallops from the robata grill came out perfect and tempura dishes were great too. The wagyu beef stuff, black cod, seabass and shitake mushrooms all came out nicely done. The service and prepared drinks were also good. The prices vs. food quality/quantity, however, is a bit of a challenge even in considering the Vegas rate. Not sure I'd pay this much for what is essentially an Izakaya....

I have eaten at a lot of places in Vegas but have never written a review. That is how exceptional I think this place is. It is not just a meal but an experience. Food was top notch. Everything that was brought out tasted like never I ever had even though it was something I had before somewhere else. Food was great but what I think really elevated our experience were our servers. Both Ersha and Dinah truly made sure our group was having a great experience. It felt as if they were our personal servers even though I know they were also helping other tables. Food is what gets people in the door but it is service that brings them back and I will absolutely be coming back.
Be the first to ReplyFelt rushed the entire time we were there.
A waitress literally took away our bowl of edamame while we were still eating it (which our main server apologized for and comp'd us for it, when I brought it up), but the entire meal was rushed. It was VERY loud, cramped (they packed people in so close, you could barely move around between your table and the ones nearby, let alone find/get to the bathroom). The music was too loud, the chefs were yelling, and the food was mediocre for being so extremely overpriced. We go to Vegas quite often and expect to pay no less than $100/meal (every meal, for 2 people-it's just the way things are now), but we also expect to get decent quality of food, for what we pay. This place isn't it. $70 for a bottle of less than flavorful sake. The steak wasn't seasoned much, and pretty bland. So, overall, we were not very happy with this restaurant, and probably won't be going back. There are way better options in Vegas, for the same kind of food. (As a note: we have 5 people in our group and everyone agreed, it was not worth the price).
Be the first to ReplyAwesome experience here.
If you have the money, definitely go here!! I went here for my engagement dinner and it was amazing - probably the best meal Ive had in my life! We did the seasonal omakase dinner and it's pricey but every dish was 10/10. I especially liked the baked potato. I've never had a baked potato at a restaurant that is better than what I make at home but this one did just that. I want to go back just for that potato! The bar and drinks are also amazing. I had three different ones and they all have a unique presentation/delivery. Bartenders were all friendly and always left us stocked with water and were prompt with orders. The service was also perfect - I couldn't come up with one thing of criticism. The service was that good! The ambiance is cool at this place too. It's easy to hold a conversation as the acoustics are good. I also really like the walk to the bathroom with the large open windows looking down Harmon. This was my second time here. The first was top 5 in my dining experiences. The second was top 1. I want to go back again - I'll just have to wait for a special occasion. It will most certainly be in my thoughts moving forward.

Be the first to ReplyHands down to one of the best restaurant in my life.
Service, food and professionalism. We went here yesterday and enjoyed our dinner experience. I can't believe everything we ordered were top notch. Must order these - Miso blackcod, chicken wing skewer, Kingcrab, Negitoro maki roll, sweetshrimp nigiri One of my chicken wing was undercook with little bit of blood, but the chef immidiately caught that and re-cook another one. I understand it can be undercook since they can't open up chicken wing if it's fully cooked or not. I was very impressed how chef caught and handled situation, was very professional and appreciated. I will visit here next time I travel Vegas again, best restaurant ever.

Our go to sushi spot when in Vegas!! Love the ambiance! The drinks are great! First time we went we did the omakase. Too much food for me but so good!! Love the seared Salmon! The dessert platter for a special occasion is outstanding!!
Be the first to ReplySo many delicious items and the quality is superb.
Many of the 4 star items were close to being 5 stars. 5 stars Kurabota pork - this is a must every time we come King crab Lobster 4 stars Prawn - super delicious, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I've had other ones I like more and they can't both be 5 stars if that's the case. So maybe 4.5 stars is more accurate Tuna tataki Chicken wings - loved the flavor of these wings Yellowtail sashimi Wagyu roll Ribeye - super tender and fatty. Also love the marinade/sauce Black cod Corn Sweet shrimp - wish they'd fry the head to serve; that's the best part for me Salmon nigiri Loaded potato 3 stars Skirt steak - skirt steak isn't my favorite but the dipping sauce makes this dish so wonderful Wagyu beef and black truffle sushi Seared tuna Salmon sashimi Green tea and banana cake

Excellent experience on all ends - I tried their omakase together with my boyfriend and his family, and it was outrageously good. I can't say much else other than it was a world-class meal!

Very slow service. Friendly waitress but rarely showed up at our table for refills of wine or water. We would have ordered a lot more drinks if someone had taken our orders.Food was good but not great nor memorable. Way overpriced for what it was. Many betteroptions available in Vegas
Be the first to ReplyZuma is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants.
I usually go to the New York location for special occasions and was super excited to visit the Las Vegas establishment. Of course the service and food did not disappoint! My partner and I usually share the Cod wrapped in a banana leaf but this time we got our own. That's how good it is, you can't share it! We also got the potato, lychee martinis, dumplings and scallops. Each food item was a 10/10 and so were the cocktails. Great service, great food and the ambiance was beautiful.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was amazing.
Was with a big party and we're cared for as if we were a party of 2. They made sure we were happy and well fed. The Yellowtail was so good. If you are into sushi, this place is worth the wait.

Definitely one of the most enjoyable meals in recent memory!! My wife and I ate here recently to celebrate her birthday. Zuma pretty much fits the vibe as any of the other fine dining restaurants located inside the Cosmo.....think glitz, glam, with a sprinkle of nightclub. The cuisine here is described as "Japanese fusion," basically authentic Japanese with a contemporary twist. The best way I describe the place to people who have never been is telling them the food is similar to Nobu's. But that is where the similarities end.Compared to Nobu, I found the food at Zuma to be much more flavorful, better proportioned, and just overall a better dining experience. We wife and I both opted on the premium omakase set for $168pp. While we waited for the first course to come out we both ordered some cocktails. I got the "Burning history" and my wife got the lychee martini. Both were expertly crafted, nice and stiff without being overly sweet. I had seen it before on social media and knew I had to order it. The bartender will bring a whiskey barrel stave to your table and blowtorch it. They capture the smoke in your glass and then add the cocktail of Suntory whiskey, ginger, honey, yuzu, and egg whites. Absolutely delicious, one of my all time favorite cocktails. My wife and I both loved our cocktails so much we ended up ordering another round before dinner's end.Now on to the food! The premium omakase was 10 courses and we felt it was the perfect amount of food without being still hungry or overly stuffed. Highlights were definitely the toro tartare with caviar, the nigiri and sashimi platter, the chili ponzu ribeye, and the Chilean seabass. All were to die for as they say....haha. All in all it was a very pleasant dining experience, from start to finish! We're already looking forward to when we can return here!! Highly recommended!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service and delicious menu items.
Food is fresh and delicious. Price is on the high side, perhaps great for a special occasion. Wagyu beef, blue fin tuna, fried tofu, yellow tail, giant scallops, Osetra Caviar all done with a Japanese flair.

Hip ambiance and love that it's an open kitchen right in the middle of the restaurant. We had bar seating and had a front row view of the action. The attention to detail with the chefs using tweezers to get the food presentation just right placing a single leaf of cilantro! Everything is family style which lends to trying many different dishes. We started with the edamame-standard and good. Yellowtail sashimi-slam dunk. The flavors of the sauce were on point! Also had the other sashimi dish listed, can't remember the name but it had garlic in each slice-sooo good! Mushrooms flavor were out of this world-I could drink the sauce. The king prawn was the real star of the night for me-the yuzu citrus flavoring was phenomenal. Highly highly recommend. The skirt steak was seasoned well, the Chilean sea bass was bland-nothing to write home about. The king crab-not a fan of the butter sauce. Service rocked. The dishes come out as they are ready and the servers clear and clean up the table as you go.
Be the first to ReplyI've been waiting to try this place for months after
I've been waiting to try this place for months after multiple IG influencers highly recommended it. I will say it took FOREVER to obtain a reservation. I had to ask for help from the cosmopolitan concierge. I was told to make a reservation for more than 2 people so it will finally pop up online. I also called twice over the phone for 2 people & I was told it was completely booked. The moment I called for 3 people or switched the online reservation for 3, multiple spots popped up. I get it. This is a very popular & busy restaurant. I just wish it would be a little more friendly towards a party of 2.We ended up making a reservation for a party of 3 for my husband's birthday. His sister ended up getting sick, but we wanted to continue with this long awaited dinner. When we arrived the boulevard towers were completely shut down. All traffic were directed to park towards the Chelsea towers & use their elevators. I told my husband to call to make sure our reservation was still good. We understand there is a 15 minute grace period. We finally got there on the dot even after all the delays of the elevators being closed. Once we got there, we gave our names. One employee even said that 2 tables were opening up. The moment my Husband mentioned that our 3rd party was not coming, the hostess changed her attitude. All of a sudden, there were NO tables available until an hour and a half out. We asked why & she explained that we fell out of the grace period, which wasn't true. We explained the elevator situation & it didn't matterWe made our way to the concierge since they have been helping my husband & I make these reservations. We explained the situation. Their manager had to talk to the manager of Zuma & we suddenly received a text that a table was ready even when the hostess said it would be an hour and a half. I'm so thankful we knew someone with concierge to help us finally get seated So now seated at the high top area, which is fine. I was just so dang happy to sit down & celebrate my husband's birthday. It took me my drink to finally relax & enjoy my time there. Alonso was so friendly, accommodating, & very personable. He was a breath of fresh air compared to what we experienced at first. We've been eyeing this place for months & were told to do the omakase so we did just that. 2 signatures for $138/person. It was A LOT, but in an amazing over abundance type of way. One of the best & worth it omakases ever. We were surprised when Alonso told us we were only entering the 2nd course! We definitely slowed down after the sushi/sashimi portion. Once you get to the main entree part, they are able to box those portions so you don't have to force yourself trying to finish. At the end we had a birthday dessert with a variety of assorted exotic fruit, passion fruit chawamushi, & a key lime/yuzu type of cheesecake. It was all so refreshing! The portions were perfect, flavorful, and beautiful. There was not one dish I didn't like. I wanted to eat each plate clean! We pretty much did. Ambiance was fantastic & such a vibe! Thank you to Alonso for making my husband's birthday such a treat. Thank you to the Cosmopolitan concierge for helping us get seated. You know who you are. You all are amazing & we are grateful for such kind people!
