Fantastic Argentinian restaurant
Stopped in for dinner and we enjoyed provoleta (baked provolone cheese, almonds and oregano honey), potato and braised gratin (which was AMAZING), rib eyes steak with chimichurri sauce, braised lamb shouler and hand cut beef, grilled peppers, spring onions and olive empanadas. We enjoyed excellent Argentian red wines and a stellar Stoli vodka martini. A wonderful evening, romantic restaurant with excellent service. My husband and I visited Buenos Aires a few years ago and eating at this restaurant transported us back there. Very popular restaurant so reservations are a must!

7 of us went to celebrate my wifeโs 50th birthday. The service was outstanding as was the food. The ambiance in this restaurant is perfect. We were looked after so well. Canโt wait to return! Thank you Zoilo
Be the first to ReplyExcellent, but pricey
I had a dinner at the bar of Zoila during a business trip. I liked the atmosphere, a bit dark and tables that were closely spaced, but a lot of wood and nice lighting. The service was excellent and very friendly. I ordered a beef filet, and had two glasses of nice Argentinian wine. The meat was just excellent, cooked to perfection. With a bread basket to start with, I came out of GBP 110 which is quite steep for London.
Be the first to ReplyA real birthday treat ๐
We have a really great birthday meal. Great food - full of flavour and perfectly cooked - across all three courses. The wine - a rich, full bodied malbec was a treat too! The service was faultless - attentive but never intrusive, and they recognised the birthday occasion with decorum. It is highly recommended - especially for dinner for two or small groups. Would have liked to take more food photos but was too dark. Photos looked darker than we liked.

Great food, great service, very nice atmosphere. The steaks were excellent and so were the side dishes. Creme brรปlรฉe dessert was the best
Be the first to ReplyZolio Restaurant , cost for reservation is so pricy recommend selling your reservation if you cancel within 24 hours
I thought I was fortunate getting a reservation on Monday for a birthday celebration on Tuesday. Unfortunately the birthday girl got quite sick and had to go home. When I rang to cancel I was made aware that ยฃ30 per person would be charged. Two of us could have gone and it would not have been enjoyable as the primary person for the celebration could not be there. I understand this is a small restaurant and a fee should be applied however ยฃ90 is extortionate. I was put off by this experience and I cannot recommend this restaurant and it goes without saying I wonโt be making another reservation.
Be the first to ReplyNot as good as they would like to be..
Waiters all charming but not so very attentive. Ceviche delicious. We both enjoyed our steaks but my companion disppointed in a. the vast amount of fat that had to be cut off (OK - the steak was huge) and the fact that they could not offer him any plain cooked green veg - the broccoli dish advertised having already been infused with other spices. Wine hideously overpriced. Background music unobjectionable but played too ooud to allow for easy conversation.

Perfect for a special birthday meal. Service was absolutely excellent, staff were very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the food which is not always the case these days. We only had 2 courses because we had plans later in the evening but our main courses and desserts were exceptional. Would definitely like to return to be able to try some starters too which sounded amazing. Great atmosphere and totally infallible, welcoming service.

I make no apologies for singing the praises of my go to favourite Argentinian Wine Bar/Restaurant in the West End yet again.I met a mate that I had not see for some time at lunch time,so we had much to to talk about .As we caressed our way through the ink squid croquettes, the beef empanada and the very tasty chimchirri burger with provencal chips and a plate of lovely breads we paused for breath. It is tapas style but dont be confused, this is finely presented food in a warm and modern wine bar and I just love the white tablecloths..All washed down with an excellent Torrontes Kaikken and a bottle of Malbec before we indulged in the Dulce Leche with banana icecream and coffee.
This establishment is expertly run by Sebastien and he is well supported by a nice team including Francisco and Llana. Neatly situated down from Manchester Square and up from Selfridges away from the madding crowd, you must rest your feet from your shopping or work or just meet up with friends . You will not be disappointed.
Amazing service
Went to this restaurant with my friend and we had a great experience. The food was awesome especially our steak and the wine the staff recommended was up to our expectations. Definitely going back soon
Be the first to ReplyA wonderful evening
This place was just wonderful. The atmosphere was superb, cosy, well lit and the music in the back ground created such a nice vibe. The service was outstanding from start to finish, very welcoming and professional. The food was just delicious, well cooked steak, sea bass and lovely accompaniments, we will be back!
Be the first to ReplyDelighted to return after our near 2-years lockdown and find such brilliant food still served
I have been a regular at this cosy Argentinian restaurant for many years as solo diner, visiting with family and friends and even a 50th University Reunion for the Class of '63. From an interesting selection of starters, I chose the Veal Sweetbreads with plum and yoghurt dressing (ยฃ17.90) and it provided a wonderful mix of textures and flavours. I had to take the Asado steak medium rare (ยฃ27.90) with chips provenzal. The meat offered superb flavour, extreme tenderness and was a joy to eat.
Overall the bill has edged up such that with very moderate alcohol intake of just a single Peroni, bottled still water and a 125ml glass of 2018 Malbec plus recommended 12.5% service cost me ยฃ77.97
This remains a favourite in the West End
The whole empanada
Sensational steaks, really top notch. We all finished everything on our plates - both the Argentine ribeye and the sirloin. Huge steaks cut, trimmed and cooked to absolute perfection. But thereโs so much more to this place - incredible starters too (empanadas and the melted cheese in particular) and a really interesting and fairly priced wine list featuring many regional Argentine wines. We really liked the atmosphere in the upstairs area by the bar, where you can settle in for a sharpener. The excellent food is backed up by friendly, funny, knowledgable and proud staff who looked after us extremely well. Surely this is the best of its kind in London. A must visit. Perfect for a long lunch.

I sat outside, a perfect spot to watch 'the world go by'. Squid and black pudding croquettes were lovely, but could do with some aioli in which to dip; empanda very meaty & the burger was a good choice for lunch. Material napkins are an excellent touch. Service friendly and professional.
Be the first to ReplyOh Yes Zoilo
I returned to Zoilo with my wife and two very good friends at lunchtime on Friday. They had not visited before. I am a fan of course. As we tasted our way through the heirloom tomatoes and beetroot salad, hand cut beef empanadas, Cornish crab on toast, awesome beef and bone marrow burger, accompanied by a delightful sparkling Sauvage Blanc, Kaikken Torrontes white and a Finca Malbec,I asked them what they thought-superb they said, loved it. Only Friday and Saturday lunch at the moment aside from evenings but London seems to be returning to some normality. Sebastien runs this wonderful wine bar/restaurant (with white table-cloths ) to perfection by dint of his management style and hard work. Staffing in this sector is an issue and the addition of Frank(Francisco) and other members of the team provide him with valuable support. Make sure you leave room for a dessert โoh that Dulce de leche Crรจme Brule and banana split ice cream !
Neatly and nicely placed in Duke St just up from Selfridges and close to Manchester Square only adds to the warm ambience within. Please visit and judge for yourself , the sooner other week-day lunchtimes are available the sooner my visits to London can be made more enjoyable.

Amazing Service and Food
We had an excellent meal here - the food was delicious and the service was excellent. It seemed like our waiter genuinely cared about our dining experience! For the delicious food and lovely setting, the cost was very reasonable too.
