Zen Sushi & Grill Edmonton Reviews from The Last Year

I recall being here quite a few years ago and being underwhelmed. I had a friend come from out of town and they prefer all you can eat sushi, and this is the only place I knew. I gotta say it was great. We went for lunch and it didn't include sashimi, but for three dollars you get a plate full of sashimi. I was very surprised I will definitely be back. The other stuff was great too.

Place gets really busy and occasionally an item gets missed but I can't fault them for that. Just remind them and you're good. Food is delicious and the AYCE is awesome. We'll be back again and again.
Wow super tasty.
a little pricy but they makeup with the portions.I left full and they still wanted me to eat more good job good food zen!!

Zen is one of the few AYCE Japanese Sushi restaurants in Edmonton. It has a decent atmosphere and food selection for AYCE. I'd give them an 8/10. AYCE items that stood out include: - Sashimi: Above average for AYCE - Mussels - Beef Short Rib - Other cooked items, i.e. zucchini and mushroom

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
