Our server Vaera was top notch! This food was wonderful.
Everyone in our group loved their meals. From chicken Marsala to grilled seafood platter and on to shrimp and grits. We will come back!
First things first, we start by heading to the 3rd floor
First things first, we start by heading to the 3rd floor via the elevator. Yes, they have stairs, but we skipped it. We made it to the host station, and we were promptly seated. I have to admit, though, I was a little disappointed we didn't get the table in front of the restaurant. Instead, we sat in the back corner. The view was only at an angle, so we didn't get the effect of eating on the pier. But, let's talk about the food! We ordered the Oyster Rockefellers, and they were great. Nothing over the top, but they were made they way they were supposed to be. (Sorry, we grabbed them ate them before I grabbed a photo.) We ordered the pork gyoza, and it was cooked great, and they were delicious. We ordered the sushi. I have labeled the ones we ate in the photo. The one with all the orange crab meat on top is: you guessed it: Fat Crab. It was good, but we had to ask for the low sodium first. Otherwise, I think sushi is typically to salty with all the fish. The California Roll was normal, but the Philadelphia roll had way too much cream cheese. It made the whole roll almost a yuck... but we were starving, so we still chomped through gloops of cream cheese. Yes, you can have too much and meh. This was it. I asked if they sold fried rice. I did not see it on the menu. Yall. They said yes, they sell fried rice. The bowl in the back of the sushi picture is their fried rice, and the other photo is their version on fried rice on my plate. It's not fried rice. Fried rice is offended, you'd called that bowl of rice "fried rice!" I'll tell you what it appeared to be: white rice with soy sauce and cooked spinach. Again, we were hungry, but I would have rather skipped this dish all together or sent it back, but... we just gave up. I sincerely wished we had NOT ordered it, but whatever. The server looked to be trying, but idk it seemed like an off night. Sushi wasn't bad per sec, but for what it's worth, I may just skip the food and go to the 2nd floor and just walk the pier. We did order a bottle of wine and it was alright. Reasonable for the beach prices.
Food and service was great! I would definitely visit again
Food and service was great! I would definitely visit again when in the area. We were immediately seated without reservations
over priced.
staff about as limp as overcooked pasta. happy hour only if you sit at the bar facing a mirror rather than a table overlooking the ocean. Have lived here 15 years and can remember previous owner. Wicked Tuna totally ruined the place
The place was decorated for the beach, kind of snazzy but
The place was decorated for the beach, kind of snazzy but calming. They opened the windows around us, which was super nice. We had the Bang Bang Grouper, and it was beyond exceptional! Served hot and not overcooked, would 1000% have this again. The sushi was highly recommended, and it did NOT disappoint. The stuffed shrimp on the risotto was magnificent. Salted perfectly and creamy risotto was a perfect suggestion.
Probably a great choice for those who love sushi.
I don't. I really can't say anything bad about it except I don't like it. I found it to be boring and we were there during happy hour. Plus there was a certain smell that I found to be off putting. But try it yourself and see what you think.
Stopped in for happy hour on a Sunday.
Happy hour is 4-7 daily in the rear deck bar. Small food menu and drinks are $ off. We tasted the tempura cauliflower, lettuce wraps, oyster Rockefeller and 2 sushi rolls. The food were decent portions and average flavors. Nice to look out over marsh and boat channels. There are deck heater to take chill out of air. Staff was friendly.
3 stars for the location and service.
Minus 1-star for quality and cost of food. Minus 1-star for the entrance through the pier shop as the restrooms are at the door

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
