I get I am in Vegas.
But some things can really be an upsale in price. And a breakfast buffet even in Vegas should cost me $50. The end result most aren't eating $50 for breakfast for one person.
Be the first to ReplyThe quality is not as good as in the past.
However, their deserts are still the best I ever had in Vegas!
Be the first to ReplyPretty decent selection and quality.
Worth a try. Buffets are what they are. Don't expect the super top tier.
Be the first to ReplyI thought this place was pretty solid.
Lots of variety. I really enjoyed the few dim sum selections with the barbeque pork and shrimp. Crab legs were good. Everything was a winner. Price for two was $101 plus don't forget to add the tip. I enjoyed it but I think the Wynn and Caesar's are much better but they are more expensive. First time here, may go back again. I will say it was very crowded around noon on a Saturday.

We tried our luck on a Saturday morning at 11am with no reservation. Waited in a long winding line that moved rather quickly. Got seated in about 20 minutes. I was worried the 90 minute time limit would rush us but it was the perfect amount of time. My focus was the seafood and there was plenty ! Mounds and mounds of snow crab legs! Yumm !! Sushi was average but there were some ahi tuna at the salad bar that was very good. Delish salmon prepared several ways. Clam and mussels were delish as well as steamed shrimp shumai. I didn't try the shell on shrimp but it was plentiful. Ended my meal at their epic dessert station with at least 10 flavors of gelato, tiramisu, cheesecakes, apple cobbler, chocolate lava cakes and so much more. I loved how they portioned them all out into small serving sizes. I highly recommend this buffet and would definitely come again !!
Be the first to ReplyHonestly probably rate it 2.
5 The food left out was cold the vegetables were overcooked cooked some of the gelatos taste artificial the on the other hand the chicken was crispy and juicy to eat.
Be the first to ReplyThis is flavorful cuisine.
The jersey Mac and cheese, the Korean food items and dessert all very good. Smaller buffet but also less than half of Bacchannal or Wynn but better tasting.

A very average brunch buffet, with some good but other items that were subpar and inedible. The basics: there is an omelette station, carving station, salad, Asian, dessert, and international food area. The carving station was the biggest letdown, my tri tip was very well done, and I'd need a machete to cut through it. Higher end items such as the beef carpaccio and ahi tuna are portioned on small plates, quality was acceptable, but the rest of the buffet was basic. Sort of had a breakfast buffet vibe, one might expect at any hotel in the country. I wish they stalked the buffet with more interesting and fresher options. At $50+ a person, one can expect the quality and selection of a $30 dollar buffet. There is a 90 minute time limit, service was surprisingly good, and there is probably something for everyone in your party. For an average filling meal, this may be your spot, but nothing notable or noteworthy. Forgettable food, ambiance, and selection.

The Cosmopolitan hotel asked me to reach out to further discuss issue, emailed them and 11 months later still no reply from them via email. What a joke!
Be the first to ReplyWicked Spoon is located within the Cosmopolitan Hotel.
It has a roomy and inviting atmosphere, making for an exceptional brunch experience. You will need to make a reservation before you go. I believe depending on the amount of people and time, you will need to deposit before you go. We went with around 8 people at 11:00 in the morning. It was an amazing experience and filling, almost couldn't eat dessert. This restaurant has a spacious layout that immediately sets Wicked Spoon apart, offering ample room for guests to dine comfortably. The buffet-style brunch was a true delight, featuring an array of delectable options, including tender meats and an impressive assortment of dishes that catered to every palate. The inclusion of crab was a particularly welcomed addition, adding a touch of luxury to the dining experience. My favorite was the make-your-own-omelet station and dessert station, a great addition that made me want to go back for more. What truly stood out was the exemplary service provided by the staff. From arrival, they were incredibly nice and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. They patiently explained the offerings and assisted those who were confused, further enhancing the overall ambiance of hospitality. Whether you're a brunch enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, Wicked Spoon will leave a lasting impression. Highly recommended!

We went to Wicked Spoon for our wedding dinner in 2018, and the food was FANTASTIC. We've been wanting to go back, and unfortunately we didn't get an opportunity to go when we went to Vegas in 2019. However, since covid, they no longer serve dinner, only brunch, which is a shame, because their dinner buffet is, to this day, the best buffet I have ever been to. On our trip to Vegas in 2023, we went for brunch, and while pricey ($54US per person plus $25US per person for a drinks package, so essentially $79US a person, plus tip and tax), at least the quality of the food was still EXCELLENT. The drinks package included bottomless mimosas and champagne, and I made sure I got my money's worth! At first I started with mimosas, then I switched to champagne. I was pretty tipsy when done, and it didn't help that the server left the bottle of champagne at our table, so I had to finish it! Wicked Spoon is still an AMAZING buffet, and I highly recommend it if you want to treat yourself. However, I'm removing one star because they no longer serve dinner, although the quality is still five stars. [Yelp collections: Vegas/Utah 2023; Vegas 2023]
Be the first to ReplyThis is not worth a 2 hr wait and $50 entrance fee.
The food was very gross. I heard it used to be much better but not anymore.

Being in Vegas for a week, Rozena and I wanted to have the Vegas buffet at one of the top spots! And Wicked Spoon was the option that jumped out at us (it wasn't super expensive, seemed to have decent reviews, and has the coolest name of them all). The buffet spot is located inside the Cosmopolitan, and the walk to the buffet is kinda nice, the highlight of it being this sculpture of a human sized bunny and a dog seated on a donkey. You'll know what I mean when you see it. And you will love it for its weirdness. Now onto the buffet itself. The wait wasn't long, but we do wish we'd been there a little earlier to snag the breakfast prices. You pay upfront. The service was good -- the hostess was kind, and the helpful waiters will be walking around, taking your order for drinks. Some of the drinks, like Diet Pepsi, Ice Tea (we got the raspberry one), coffee, are complimentary. And others, fancier ones, come with an extra cost. The waiters also cleared our table quickly whenever we'd be done with our plates. There is a lot of food to select from. Eating at a buffet or at any AYCE spot is a matter of pacing and selection. We went to the Asian section first. Which is exactly where you should go first, as well. The reason? (Also the reason this review almost had 5 stars): CRAB LEGS. Crab legs galore. They're tasty, they're filling, and they will leave you with a I-am-totally-getting-my-value-for-money feeling. Start with the crab legs, and you will be off to a great start. Plus, breaking them is a super fun exercise. Do not get the sushi. It's like 85% rice, and didn't feel fresh. Skip them, get prawns maybe. But crab legs should be your focus. CRAB LEGSThe shrimp and grits is a really good choice as well that I would probably pair up with fried chicken. Just cause it's hard to resist fried chicken. Don't get more than 1-2 pieces. Get the steak, and the lamb chop may be a good choice too. The salmon is fine, but it doesn't immediately jump out as being out of the ordinary. Not like, you know, err...crab legs. We probably ate for a total of 2 hrs, which is crazily the time limit itself. Don't be shy to hit the 2 hr-mark. Eating should be the main activity of the day for you when you go to a Vegas buffet! Along the way we encountered some decent and mediocre dishes. The tuna tartar is all right. But the veggie samossa (one of the few Indian dishes) along with the chickpea curry are worthy side dishes. The gyro was meat tucked in an unfluffy (is that a word?) pita bread. Wouldn't recommend. There are salads, but I can't say we explored the salad bar. Instead, we went for dessert. The top dessert, for me, is the Choco lava cake. The warm inside of the cake will ooze and melt in your mouth, and you will feel like there is a tiny dancer in your mouth ticking all the right taste buds. It's amazing. They have gelato. It's wild. The canoli is good. The matcha cake was a bit tart, and not our favorite. But considering the sheer selection of desserts, one is bound to not like an item or two. This came close to being a 5 star rating (the crab legs, shrimp and grits and Choco lava cake were all fantastic). Especially because the whole buffet experience elevated our Vegas Trip.

As a Marriott bonvoy member there are some perks- like jumping ahead in line to the buffet which was a good 40min wait... we were quick to sit as a result... our server, Maria, was fabulous and helpful with expediting coffee refreshers drinks not included in the buffet price. The selection of quality food and desserts were awesome and definitely had something for everyone. If you have a broad palate like I do, it is incredibly enjoyable, particularly if you take your time and eat items that are freshly served. As far as a buffet goes, this was a great value with premium meats, charcuterie, seafood, brunch, and gourmet ethnic options.

Other than that, the food is pretty good.

Great selection and quality of food for the buffets in Las Vegas. The buffet is located at the back of the hotel and is quite a walk from the casino. After the pandemic they changed hours and close at 3pm now which is a disappointment. The lines are very very long so expect to be waiting for 1-2 hours at least. With other places like the Wynn your party can take turns waiting while other go gamble or have a drink. Since Wicked spoon is so far away from the casinos and main area it's not convenient to access. Expect lines for popular foods like the peking duck or seafood. They can be faster or provide better set up so that guest are not waiting in lines for certain foods. Overall the food is tasty but the lines have often made us reconsider going
Be the first to ReplyBuyer beware.
Wait in fastish moving line. Took 15 minutes to get to register. This line is out of view of the second line, the line for a table. Been in line now for an hour. Still waiting. Go elsewhere. Anywhere. Walk into the desert and grow your own food. It will be faster.

What can I say everything was delicious, I wish I had more time to partake! I didn't take any pictures because I ate everything and it wasn't pretty, but it was fresh and good. And staff was nice!

Buffets seem to be leaving Las Vegas, but this one is incredible and I hope does not go away. There also seems to be strong demand. We made the mistake of going there around 1pm and the lines were long and deceiving--first there was a line that took about 45 minutes, then another line that took the same amount of time. We noticed it was less busy at other times.Fortunately, the food is worth it. It has a wide range of food for all tastes--from great breakfast items like an omelet bar, Indian food, seafood, Mexican food, and more.Everything was cooked perfected. In particular, they had a meat station that had three kinds of beef and pork and every slide was fantastic. Then some of the little touches they had like the mini pitas were just really nice. Then I was blown away by the desserts. I usually do not like to have too much sugar, but there were so many good bites (not to mention really good ice cream). The wait may be long, but definitely worth it.

THEY HAVE VEGAN OPTIONS!! That's what brought me here! My mom and I were really impressed with the variety and booming flavors! Karen and Stacy really made us feel special the moment we walked up. They really seemed to care about us and what we had going on this weekend! The hospitality from these two lovely ladies was top tier. Stacy was so fun and came to check on us and everyone else in our seating area. It felt like she was an auntie. Love that. Love her. Stephen was also a great server. The decor was so cool as well! I can not recommend this place enough! DONT SKIP OUT ON THIS WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!
Be the first to ReplyYears later, post-pandemic, and still 5 stars all the way.
My top two things that I'm so glad they will always have are:1. crab legs--so fresh and sweet, served with hot butter and lemon if you wish2. apple cobbler with vanilla bean gelato--so crispy with tarte apples inside--this is the most perfect dessert. If I could have one last meal anywhere before I die, it would most definitely be Wicked Spoon. Thank you for making the food and service consistently incredible!
Be the first to ReplyThis is my #1 buffet in Vegas.
It's improved tremendously over the years and for the last 3 years, it's the only one I go to. I'm a local and I eat here every single weekend. The highlights of the buffet are:Bread station: hear me out--tyeir croissants are pretty good and my go-to to eat with bone marrowBreakfast tostada's: delicious, topped with an avocado crema and scrambled eggs. I get them just to top with the bone marrow and short rib meat that's on top of the marrow. Add some crab on there and it's one sexy tostada. Bone marrow: topped with short ribs and pickled onion, it's a rich and buttery option to eat on top of their tostadas, or like butter spread on a croissant. Fried chicken: their chicken wings are fried to perfection and definitely brined. I eat about a dozen of them every meal. Crab legs: 9am and crab legs are on the breakfast menu. I drop bone marrow and squeeze lemon into my cup of butter to dunk the legs in. Yum. Desserts: the whole dessert section is yummy. I love the guava cake, mango cake, ganache tartlets, thai tea ice ice cream, and I top their bread pudding with their strawberry cheesecake gelato. Tip - grab pistachio or caramel gelato and ask the server for coffee. Make an afogatto. Service is a 10/10 with any section. You can request a certain area to sit at, so don't be shy. I highly suggest DeAndre. He's incredible and such a joy to talk to every visit. I suggest calling or booking a reservation online. Lines get long by 10am daily.

If you're planning on waiting this long, head to Caesars Palace

All of the food is good and presented well. The service was even better. Definitely get the drinks package and try each drink (except the sangria).
