Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
My partner and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria for four
My partner and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria for four nights what visiting Las Vegas. Overall, the room with modern and clean, but the construction of the lobby did not make the salary premium experience. There is ongoing construction for the lobby as of September 2023, which certainly changes the experience not for the better. There was still insulation visible, so it will be that way for quite some time. So as of now, you enter through the side entrance in the courtyard, which is basically by the event rooms on the third floor. The hotel is organized where the 23rd floor is the top floor and that's where the check in is. So outside of check-in, there is never any interaction with anyone that works at this hotel, except for the bellman near the side of trees. Always having to walk through the convention area to get to the elevators for your room is not a very premium experience. I assume once the lobby is finished that there will be a check in or greeting area, but until that happens, this is not a five star hotel. We got a nice base room on the 11th floor, which overlooked the Strip. There was a very nice working desk and lounge area in the king rooms. One issue that we constantly had was that our shades and drapes were all controlled with a touchscreen and none of the three touchscreens worked. We had maintenance to our room a few times, and even they struggled and had to reset the entire room. No communication from Management that basically the room was inoperable for parts of our stay. The pool area is quite nice and there are two different pools located near each other. During the day, there is a lot of shade at the pools on account of the building, which blocks the sun, which is a bonus. The pool is probably the best aspect to this property. Overall, we opted to stay at a hotel instead of a hotel/casino because we figured that the hotel alone would have to focus on hotel amenities and service as opposed to taking care of casino players. Unfortunately, the Waldorf Astoria, Las Vegas did not provide the service that you would get at Venetian or Bellagio, to say nothing if you were comped or had loyalty at the MGM or Caesars properties.

Ok girls if you want to be in Vegas on the decidedly upscale this is the way to go. In my little oasis I completely forgot I was in the middle of the strip. The rooms are comfortable with a soaking tub so you can feel entirely pampered. Very nice atmosphere unless you want the raucous Vegas casino experience.

Lives up to its name! Worth every penny; or in this case, worth every bill lol! We loved the fact that it's a non gaming hotel; no stinky smoke veil and crowded casino. You can "check out" of the rowdy Vegas scene while ur here but still being able to enjoy the Vegas vibes when ur ready to go out. The location is perfect; the miracle mile is across the street. We had a great view of the strip. The hotel is impeccable and every thing in ur needs are anticipated and fulfilled . Our junior suite was amazing. Everything in the room can be controlled with a push of a button either from the entry or by ur bedside. Loved the standalone large tub, plush robes, slippers and Aesop bath products. The bed was heavenly!! We loved the spa and pool area; it was definitely relaxing and chill. There were no obnoxious drunks playing their loud music, etc.; just people having a great time. The pool area had enough music to add to the ambience but just enough that you can have a decent conversation without having the need to shout. The pool staff were attentive and friendly. Our drinks were barely empty and they were observant enough to refill our drinks in a timely manner. Overall, we highly recommend this place and we are definitely coming back!
Best hotel I have ever been to, the service was excellent
Best hotel I have ever been to, the service was excellent from the moment I arrived to the hotel. Ambiance was beautiful and room was very spacious.
My stay at the Waldorf felt like a retreat.
Its discreet entrance leads to a sanctuary of luxury. The room melds zen beauty with ultimate comfort, highlighted by a spa-like bathroom with bath salts and plush robes, complemented by Aesop products. The walk-in closet removes the clutter from the main area. And turn down service where they bring ice and water at night is always convenient. Compared to my recent stay at the Wynn, the Waldorf excels in providing a serene, comforting escape. It's not just a hotel; it's a retreat in the city's heart.
I went for a conference and the catering was on point.
I also wil say their chairs are comfy to a conference bc I did snooze one or two times lol. I will say though the lobby could use some work it's small and nothing is noted so I had no idea where to go. Also there is no parking it's all valet
Love this hotel and location.
Dont hesitate staying here. Great staff, extremely helpful
Food, service and ambience made for a wonderful experience.
Looking forward to our next visit.
Exceptional stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas! This
Exceptional stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas! This five-star hotel offers a distinctive getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Strip while conveniently close to everything. The amenities are nothing short of extraordinary: floor-to-ceiling windows, city and Strip views, soaking tubs, you name it - they have it. The service provided is of the highest standards. In-room dining experience, on-site restaurant, and the hotel bar are all phenomenal. The only drawback during my stay was that my key card kept malfunctioning and I had to get it replaced at the front desk each morning I was there. Even with this minor inconvenience, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
I had the unique opportunity to stay at the Waldorf Astoria
I had the unique opportunity to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas twice during the holiday season - once at Christmas and then on New Year's Eve. Both stays offered distinct experiences, shaped by the occasions and the different booking methods. Christmas Stay - American Express Fine Hotel and Resorts Benefits: My first stay was booked through the American Express Fine Hotel and Resorts program, which came with a suite of benefits that enhanced the experience significantly. These perks, including possibly room upgrades, early check-in, late checkout, and additional amenities, made the Christmas stay feel particularly special and luxurious. New Year's Eve Stay - Hilton Diamond Member Perks: The second visit was booked as a Hilton Diamond member, where I used my free reward night ( 80k points) for New Year's Eve - a fantastic value, especially for such a high-demand night. The highlight was the $200 upgrade to a panoramic suite. The suite was nothing short of spectacular, providing an unforgettable view of the New Year's fireworks. It was a remarkable way to ring in the new year. Room Service: During my stays, I indulged in room service, ordering a burger, spaghetti, and breakfast. Unfortunately, the food left something to be desired. It wasn't up to the mark you'd expect from a high-end establishment like the Waldorf Astoria, lacking in flavor and presentation. Valet Service: A significant plus was the valet service. The ability to call down and have the car waiting was incredibly convenient, especially in the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. This thoughtful service saved precious time and reduced any potential stress related to transportation. Hotel Access and Amenities: One notable limitation was the access to hotel amenities prior to check-in. Unless you have a spa appointment, there's not much to do if you arrive early and your room isn't ready. This can be a bit of an inconvenience, particularly for those looking to make the most of their stay from the moment they arrive. In addition, the need to use two elevators to get to the room was a bit of an inconvenience. Overall Impression: The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas shines in many areas - exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and memorable views. However, the room service quality and limited pre-check-in amenities slightly marred the overall experience. That said, both of my stays were enjoyable, with the New Year's Eve experience being particularly noteworthy due to the panoramic suite and the breathtaking fireworks display. I would recommend the Waldorf Astoria for those seeking a high-end Vegas experience, with the advice to possibly dine outside the hotel for more memorable meals.
