I heard about this Japanese restaurant while ago & wanted to try for a while. I showed up without reservation & I thought I will not get in. When I got in welcomed me & accommodated me for table. They were all friendly & have will to assist even you are not assigned to particular table. I wanted to start with oysters & waiter was knowledgeable to explain what they had. Also ordered couple other items to start with. Oysters never arrived & asked them & they finally brought to me. It was fresh & succulent! Had some of sashimi it was nice but bit dry. Could be more fresher. I kept order some of the light items & they were great. I was impressed with service & food, presentation. It was busy place so noise were there but not too loud. I will definitely recommend this place. I definitely will go back!

Very average rolls for the pricing, you can eat at places 10 times as good for a fraction of this price in nyc, It also took 2 hours start to finish for them to bring us, get this, sushi... raw rolls shouldn't take that long.

I wish every bite could last longer, an amazing explosion of flavors and umami bomb. The ambiance was casual and sleek. The drinks and adult beverages were phenomenal. I highly recommend this establishment. From their amazingly affordable happy hour menu to their omakase tasting. That would surely deliver a wonderful diaspora of culinary delights.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Uchi! My boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here and were definitely not disappointed. We ordered a variety of items and loved every single one of them. I highly recommend stopping in during happy hour that way you're able to try a variety of dishes at a great price. My personal favorite dish of the night was the Suika, it was so good I had to order another one! The wagyu ringo was good and so was the bluefin zuke. The fish was incredibly fresh and all of the food was super flavorful. We couldn't forget about dessert! The fried milk was unlike anything i've ever had. It was sweet and salty making it the perfect way to end our meal. The service was great and the ambiance of the restaurant was intimate which was nice. The only thing I didn't particularly love was only getting one menu to share between the two of us, it was bit inconvenient. We will definitely be back soon!

They will customize the courses to your taste preferences and number of people. I leaned towards Nigiri, Wagyu, and some small plates. Everything was fabulous, the biggest surprise was the mushroom nigiri - 10/10 you should try.

Uchi is the quiet luxury of Japanese restaurants in a city that tends to mindlessly support the next, shiny object. This was my second time showing up for Uchi's incredible happy hour and staying for the epic fare for a light dinner afterward. The delicate fish was very fresh like it jumped from the sea and melted in my mouth coating it with its briny, nourishing goodness. The elegantly presented tuna hand roll was the perfect mouth feel contrast between the brittle seaweed and the finely cubed seafood. The dining room is beautiful with soft lighting and blush and plush textiles. The already attractive Miami crowd looked even better in this setting. Service at the bar was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Other restaurants in the city please take note on how attention to detail, well selected ingredients and a sumptuous mood, rather than the gimmick du jour, will keep well heeled patrons coming back gladly.

I love the simple and authenticity of the sushi and sashimi. It's so hard to come across authentic Japanese sushi that does not have fusion of other cuisines because Japanese food should be strictly seafood, refreshing and simple. Not with added cream cheese, filling and toppings that cause too much bloating. Maybe I'm just picky, but definitely love this place. Great vibes, the service was A1 from our server Stephanie and the whole crew who kept bringing the food out announcing what it was, keeping us aware of some dietary restrictions. Vegetarian menu was also huge. All in all one of the best meals and experiences we have had

This place is so unique, a lot of the fish is imported from Japan. Also, the sushi options are very special and different from any sushi restaurant I've ever been to. The servers are very knowledgeable on the menu and you can tell that they are very happy and passionate about their job. Also, can we talk about the dessert, the fried milk is one of the best desserts I've ever eaten not even exaggerating. If you're thinking about trying this place absolutely do.

This place is SPECTACULAR! My husband and I moved from NYC two years ago, I'm originally from Miami and we honestly haven't had as delicious of a meal since living in Miami until tonight when we dined at Ushi. We had the wagyu on the hot rock, yellow tail with the orange segments, spicy tuna roll, pork belly, a short rib sushi or something alone those lines and their fried milk dessert. We walked in and got seated at the bar immediately it was amazing. The service was fast, friendly and the staff is all extremely knowledgeable. One of the sushi chefs remembered my husband and I from another sushi restaurant we used to frequent. What a small world. I can't praise this restaurant enough. I'm confident my husband and I will become regulars here.

From the drinks being super cute and super tasty to the food. Definitely would recommend having reservations. This is a spot you don't want to miss. Service was excellent. You have street parking options available due to the location in Wynwood.

Unlike many Miami restaurants, Uchi never gets old and quality of food and service doesn't decline. Suzuki served us last night and his attention was excellent. I love this place!

Incredible service and exceptional food. 5 stars plus. We're visiting from NY and thoroughly impressed. Must haves are the 72-hour short rib, foie gras and kinoko (king trumpet mushroom), hama chili, walu walu -- all to die for. Also, completely mouth watering were hamachi, namaohatate, sake nigiri. For dessert, do not miss the fried milk! We were blown away by the quality of the food, the art and the service! Avery and Paul took incredible care of us, recommending only the best of the best - thank you so much! Can't wait to come back.

We came here for their famous happy hours but not convinced by the selection of very very small portion and drinks . The vibes are cool with great decor and good music . Service was good . Very expensive sushi place .
I LOVE Uchi! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.
Everything on their menu is outstanding and you can take advantage of many of their delicious items during their daily happy hour starting at 5pm. I would recommend making making reservations especially if you want to go during the weekend. Run, don't walk to Uchi. You won't regret it.

Amazing food. Flavors completely different. This is the second time eating there and it’s always delicious. All my friends loved my recommendation. Definitely I’ll go back.
Booking the nightmare
Making a phone call to place a reservation was a nightmare. I have been on the phone getting transferred from one assistant to another for 12 minutes just to reserve a table. And then I found out that the reservation was done inaccurately. I ask for a specific hour, they confirmed and when I called again (the communication got missed) they apologized saying that was a miscommunication and my reservation has to be placed 30 minutes later. This is not rocket science. Is just a table on a restaurant. 12 minutes on the phone?? and all this mess at the end? please take a look on the staff you are hiring. Thay are far away from being efficient. Plus give them a proper training in the meantime. Best regards,

Terrible! The food is way overpriced, low standard and slow service. Mercedes (manager) and Sebastian (waiter) were unable to resolve even simple comments / suggestions.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
