This place is a hot mess.
They couldn't recommend something good to us. They couldn't tell us how the pork appetizer was. They also had no idea they were selling cans of soda!Got home. Food was cold. The General Tso tasted terrible. The boxes weren't marked as to which one

This place has the best chicken and yakisoba I've ever had, every dish I've tried prior to that was nothing less than exquisite delight! I called in last night to order another delivery had heard they were closing down. So sad to see this great place go, hope to see you and return soon!
Be the first to ReplyHorrible portioning for the price, horrible flavors.
"Egg rolls" are actually Spring Rolls, which I've gathered is normal for the West Coast. General Tso's Chicken (very spicy) tasted like they made General Tso's and then added some bizarre vinegar-based hot sauce to it to increase the heat while ruining the flavor, while barely cooking the broccoli. Kung Pao tofu was so bad my s/o has sworn off Chinese food for the entire west coast. Egg Drop soup oddly contained corn and tasted so bad she dumped it down the drain. I guess we'll consider it a 27 dollar lesson. AVOID! Guess there's a reason nobody is ever in the place.

I've ordered delivery like 5 times and have really enjoyed their food and service. I order via Eat24 which makes ordering and easy super convenient. I always get the MaPoTofu which me and my son love. He's a picky eater too but he always asks for tofu when we order Chinese food. They have excellent Salt & Pepper fish, which for some reason I've had a hard time finding in Seattle, it's actually the main reason I order food here. I love it an their fish is so good and spicy. Finally, their Szechuan eggplant and tofu was really tasty, lots of eggplant and was delicious over rice. I think if you know you're ordering cheap Chinese good you're gonna love it. If you're hoping for some gourmet revelation, go to a fancy restaurant that doesn't offer convenient and free delivery that Twin Gardens provides. I'm definitely going to keep ordering food here! Yummmmy!

This was the first time I've ordered from this restaurant and the food was acceptable. I was surprised by the small portion you get for the prices they were charging. Overall experience, 3 stars.

One star because it was all food probably at some point, and one thing was edible. The 7 spice chicken was ok. Not great, ok. I would order it again if the rest of it wasn't a soggy grease sopped mess. Green onion pancake = inedible grease napkins. Egg rolls = goo with all of the stuffing falling all over the bag because they were too covered in grease to hold their shape. Green beans = over cooked, soggy, mush almost brown. Barf. Not to mention they came 30 minutes late. An hour and a half after I placed the order. Ordered through Eat24, Yelp's thing, it took the team 12 minutes to respond to me on that chat thing when my order wasn't coming. Everything here was a mess. Won't be repeating.

How did this place get any positive reviews?? Delivery was well over an hour. The egg rolls were so greasy and dripping with oil that they were translucent and this made them even less appetizing since you could see the gray vegetables inside. The hor fun was basically noodles in a bland sauce with a few mung mean sprouts. The meat in every dish, but the fried rice was weird. Green beans were over cooked, soggy, tough and stringy. BBQ pork fried rice was ok. Hard to mess up fried rice, though. Skip this place.

We order delivery and it is never a long wait and the food is delish. We have never been disappointed. I love this place!
Be the first to ReplyDon't judge the book by its cover.
This place may look dark and unwelcoming, but if you can look beyond that you'll be amaze by the good food. On my first visit, I had wild chili beef (Warning: a lot of jalapeños), which I thought was great. I switched it up and got Mongolian beef on my second visit. I liked that even more. Huge portion. I packed half my food home both times. I love leftovers :9There was only one waitress there...but it wasn't a problem at all. There were three tables, including mine. She was super nice. Oh, and the hot jasmine tea complimented the meal perfectly. Though there weren't a lot of customers at the restaurant, I saw a lot of to-go orders. Who can say no to Chinese food delivery, especially when it's super cold out now...am I right?
Be the first to ReplyGreat staff and excellent food.
Pretty low key surroundings but food really is the star. I'm addicted to the Singapore chow mei fun. So tasty
