Excellent restaurant.
..we had the burrata (actually wish there was more burrata- it was more a beet kale salad with a touch of burrata but it was still excellent and I'd definitely order it again even though I'm not much of a kale nor beet kind of guy). We also had the gnocchi. I wish this was an entree size as this was the best thing we had. The gnocchi was soooo pillowy (absolute perfection) and the sauce was so good. Lamb was very tender. Our entree was the truffle chicken rigatoni. It was good but for me had too much truffle flavor (I prefer shaved fresh truffle). Our server Corey was very good, knowledgeable and paid the proper amount of attention. There's also some nice views outside.

My wife and I love Topolino's Terrace and have eaten here a few times, but this particular outing was subpar. I had the filet mignon, ordered medium rare, but it was overcooked and a bit dry because of it. The asparagus was a little bit undercooked and the potato medallion was flavorless. Fortunately our server was wonderful, but I will be mindful about what I choose next time. Going for breakfast here might be the better play.
Be the first to ReplyWe were celebrating my in-laws' 44th wedding anniversary
We were celebrating my in-laws' 44th wedding anniversary while in Disney and were looking for a nice, fine dining experience. Topolino's was recommended to us and we had made our reservation about five weeks before. We couldn't find any kind of reservation for five people, so since my three year year-old would be with us I figured it would be easy for him to just sit on me, if necessary and/or have a high chair. So I made the reservation for four, and that was available right away. There's always a big difference between five and four in terms of availability. It was so nice, entering into the Riviera. We took the elevator up to the restaurant and we're so impressed by how nice it looked. They even have dried pasta hanging in a case and their wine displayed as well. We were greeted by the host and hostess. The host seem to be very irritated that there was five of us and I had made the reservation for four. He had mentioned that now we were going to have to wait for an open table. I tried telling him that it wasn't a big deal because my son can just sit with me. We waited for about 10 minutes and then I checked back in. He seemed to be growing more and more frustrated with me. It really wasn't that big of a deal, I had mentioned. Finally, they called our names and we were escorted to a table, in the back with a beautiful view of the tourist That had six seats. Now, we had more than enough room. Unfortunately, we were all kind of in a bad mood by the way we were treated when we first got there so it put a damper on the evening and the experience. We were greeted by our amazing server, Rae. She was so sweet. Attentive, great server. The rest of the experience went by pretty fast. We did not indulge in cocktails or appetizers, but just simply put our orders in. We didn't really have to wait long at all For our food to come out and they did bring out complimentary bread. They have a decent kids menu. My son ordered the grilled chicken with carrots and macaroni and cheese. The pasta is made in white, cheese sauce and it's delicious. You know, a good mom always taste tests their child's food. My husband ordered the lamb shank and mentioned how delicious and also what a big portion it was. My father-in-law ordered the Branzino and it was delicious, I tried some. my mother-in-law and I decided to split the fillet and scallops dish so we could create our own little surf and turf. I would definitely recommend that. The filet is a huge portion over a bed of mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The scallops come with delicious vegetables and I believe there were five of them. They brought out a tiny little, complimentary dessert for my in-laws anniversary. Overall, I thought the food portions were more than generous, the food itself was delicious, the terrace is so pretty. I definitely recommend going out there either for a cocktail before you eat, or after. Or just to take photos like we did after our meal. Such an amazing view. Nice, swanky seating. Perfect environment for cocktail or golden hour. Not impressed by the host situation, but definitely loved our server, shout out to Rae! The prices are high, but nothing unusual for fine dining in Disney. Also, you do get a lot for what you pay for. The environment is beautiful. Everyone is dressed up and having a great time.

Topolino's is incredible! From the decor and views to the service to the amazing food- we loved it all! Our party of 5 loved our dinner and our first visit there left a great first impression. We had a great seat by the window and were able to enjoy the fireworks show that started around 9:00pm. The food! My pork valley appetizer is an absolute MUST! Literally one of my favorite things I've had in quite some time. The cauliflower steak was also well done and a nice option for vegetarians/vegans. Desert was fantastic and everyone else enjoyed their entrees. You really can't go wrong with anything here, but make sure to bring a jacket in case you're seated under an AC vent as it gets cold in those areas.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful restaurant, great menu, service was top notch.
Steak was amazing and melts in your mouth. Impressive wine and dessert drink selection. Highly recommended. This is a Disney must-do!!!

We have finally made it to Topolino's breakfast after being DVC members at Riviera for 4 or so years.. We were super excited and I could not wait to experience it!! Checking in online helped reduce the wait time once we arrived to the restaurant. And I have to say, the service was excellent!!! Food was good, mostly, we ran into a few issues, mainly the avocado toast was impossible to chew due to bread being stale and tough.. but all was taken care of by our wonderful server.. Steak tips were great! You could really taste the wood fire, and my hubby and I both loved it.. our youngest insisted on "grown-up waffles" and enjoyed them a lot.. the oldest had the avocado toast, which didn't work out, but loved the parfait with berries they replaced it with. The characters were a delight, and although our kids are getting older, they still loved getting hugs! Overall, this experience was an absolute MUST! ONCE! The price is quite high.. we will likely opt for other breakfast options in the future.. just because we do most things on a budget and it was a splurge.. but it was well worth it to have this experience... if budget was not an issue, sure, I'd dine here every time I visited.

Food including the pastries at breakfast are amazing! Great quality food with willingness to be flexible and customize for their character breakfast location. Probably the best opportunities to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy as compared to other character locations where you might not get a chance to meet and take pics with all of them. Food is far superior quality as compared to other character breakfasts at the same price ($49 per adult). Beautiful views as well. A must do character breakfast, well worth it!!

To start off, this place is a lot like California Grill, set up very similarly. Doesn't take anything away from it. Bread was good and different. The sole was incredible, the sauce to go with it made it a really tasty dish. It also came with a lot of fish, which I liked. Service also was great as always here. Definitely a new spot here in DW.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food.
Excellent staff. What more could you ask for? This is a go to place for every Disney visit.
Be the first to ReplyWe love it the first time but this time was the last.
For $111. For two for breakfast we are disappointed to say the least. My husband went with the area and eggs since, hey at these prices, go for the the steak. He ordered it medium. What he received was two medallions that were raw. RAW. We could not find the waiter after it was dropped off (mind you, it was covered in mushrooms, or he would have stopped him at the moment it was delivered). We didn't see the waiter again for 30 minutes. Things the only complaint. But it is a big one. Well that and the lack of a steak knife. We boxed it up. My husband ate the basket of pastries and we left. You are paying for the character interaction (which was very nice even if you don't have kids). The coffee is good but we won't be back. Boma is a a fantastic breakfast and though there is no character interaction, we find it to be wonderful.
Be the first to ReplyThe place is still beautiful and the staff pleasant, but
The place is still beautiful and the staff pleasant, but I'm afraid the food was not up to par on my last visit. It was still awesome that we arrived around 5pm starving and they seated us right away without reservation at the bar for a small appetizer meal. "Escargot en Gougères: Savory Pâte à Choux, Butter, Garlic, Lemon, Parsley" I had been craving the escargot I had loved so much on my last visit but they made changes since then that was less palatable. They removed the shell from the escargot, making the experience not as fun. They also soaked garlic bread bites on it, which at first looked like a great idea. I found out soon enough that the whole thing was so salty, I just finished the escargot part with the bread I was given at the beginning of my meal and left the bread that was soaking in salty sauce, and I only ate the escargot out of respect for the creature who lost its life to be my meal (and because it cost a pretty penny ) "Celery Root and Black Truffle Soup: Brown Butter, Honeycrisp Apple, Focaccia Crouton" I'm a sucker for truffles and had to try out this soup. I tasted the celery but didn't really taste any truffles. It was presented beautifully in that they put the soup on top of the solid ingredients right in front of you. It was light and airy and not as tasty as I was expecting. The best thing about this dish is that I had something to decrease the saltiness of the escargot. I had originally wanted to order the rigatoni, but my husband wanted to eat somewhere else later in the day so we compromised by only getting appetizers since I was starving already. Maybe it would be better? We won't know now. Perhaps we will try it next time we are in town but the dishes we got today will definitely not make it back on my list of must-haves. Sorry, Topolino's. I'm sad to be writing this.

Be the first to ReplyWent for breakfast with my daughter and her family
Went for breakfast with my daughter and her family including a 1 year old. First off, parking is difficult, especially handicap parking (there are only 9 handicap spaces). Some of the handicap spaces require climbing a long flight of stairs to reach the lobby. After a short wait we were seated next to a window (great view). The characters came often and interacted with the little one wonderfully. Food, not bad, not great. Service, poor. I ordered Steak and Eggs. The steak was overcooked and a struggle to cut with a butter knife. The server finally brought out steak knives along with salt and pepper (great dine my overcooked steak could use some seasoning). I was brought out TWO pepper shakers. No salt! The server never stopped by to check if everything was OK even though she was at the table next to us. Crowded, overpriced, poor service and mediocre food. For me this was another One and Done dining experience. So many other wonderful Disney dining choices.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at when I come to Disney. The restaurant is beautiful itself and has amazing views of Epcot. When it's time for the fireworks, there's a really nice terrace with seating to go out and watch! The food is outstanding, I try and get something different every time I go but most of the time settle for the bouillabaisse. Drinks are amazing as well. It's higher in price but you definitely pay for the quality of the food. The staff is AMAZING, and go above and beyond. My family and I went for my birthday, my one year old made a mess and our server brought his little bib and reusable dish to the back and washed it for us. Everything is outstanding! I added some pictures from a recent trip, stuffed fish and Cesar salad
Be the first to ReplyI highly recommend getting the steak.
I tried the waffles and honestly there was nothing really special about them. Also I felt the steak entree came with significantly more food. The pastries at the start are pretty good and come in a cute container. Our main entree food arrived before we even had our drinks. I felt the pacing of service could've been a bit better. I wish that our entrees were not rushed out so quickly and we could've enjoyed the appetizer phase a bit more. The characters are super cute. The room itself doesn't really have much of a theme. It is fun though that there is a roof top you can sit at while waiting to be seated. Overall we had a positive experience. It isn't my favorite character dining, but it was still fun.

One of the best character meals in Disney with a spectacular view from the tenth floor of the Riviera resort. The decor is breathtaking; I mean, the chandeliers/lights are impressive. The friendly greeters seated us at a table in the middle of the room. Our server was kind and patient with us as we were so excited for the characters. No matter when you arrive, know that the staff will ensure each character visits your table and you get all the pictures and signatures you wish. We hugged and posed with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Dasiy, all dressed so cutely. Our meal began with a ceramic basket of pastries. We had chocolate chip mini muffins, croissants, and apple cinnamon muffins that crumbled with goodness. There were jams, butter, and hqlzelent chocolate spread on your pastries. They will refill your basket if you wish, and you can take it with you too. My favorites were the croissant with the hazelnut spread and the apple muffin. We both had a Champagne cocktail with our meals. I had the quiche gruyere with a side of roasted potatoes, field greens, and a lemon vinaigrette. My friend ordered the avocado toast without the prosciutto, which had poached eggs, tomatoes, and fennel. They were both outstanding and filling. We will come back if we are lucky enough to get another reservation.

I have to be honest, I was disappointed with Topolino's Terrace. We had heard so much about it, but weren't happy with the food. We have dined at Disney restaurants 100's of times and this was just disappointing. It was beautifully decorated, love the lighting fixtures and ambiance. The bar tenders were real nice, as were the hosts. I need to preface this by saying there is no salt and pepper on the table, so the dishes we got definitely came from the kitchen that way. It was two of us and we started with escargot, one order each. The dishes were super salty and that coming from me, a person who will take chips over cookies every time. I love salt. I also felt there was MUCH more pastry than snail, I have never seen snails that small. I have never, ever left the garlic butter in the little holes on an escargot dish, always using the bread from the table to sop that up, but this time i left it. Again, too salty. No scarpetta. The bread was good though. We then shared the lamb and gnocchi starter, which was also super salty. So very weird how the salt followed through to that dish too. I had a few forkfuls as did my husband, but we left the rest. For my main course I had the veal chop, which IMO there is a line between a meat being marbled or just plain fatty This IMO was fatty, so I spent most of the time trying to find actual meat between the large pieces of fat. The lighting, although beautiful wasnt helpful in this endeavor. lol!The service overall was good, I wasnt thrilled when they brought our apps and gnocchi starter out at the same time, both hot dishes, but they took it back and brought it back out after we had finished our escargot. So no prob.I do have to say that we went back 2 days later for breakfast as we were staying at the Riviera and had to check out that morning and everything was fine. Character breakfast and all the littles at the tables around us loved it!!

Be the first to ReplyA must do if you can score a reservation.
Went for dinner and had an incredible experience. Service was top notch and the views overlooking the Epcot fireworks are tough to beat. The food overall was fantastic. Wife and I shared the ricotta appetizer which was delicious. Only complaint was the bread they served with it. The complementary bread was excellent however the bread with the burrata was very hard and stale tasting. Not even a real complaint since we just used the perfectly fine bread from the basket. Wife got the filet and it was tender and had so much flavor. I tried the lobster linguine and to me it is currently in my top five dishes that I have ever had. The lobster melted in my mouth and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The sauce had so much flavor and complemented both the protein and the starch. If you can snag a reservation for this place I can't recommend it any more. Incredible!
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I had dinner at Topolino's Terrace last summer.
First and foremost, it is considered one of their more expensive dining experiences, but if your using the Disney World Experience app, you will know this before making your reservation (if your not using this app, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?? It's very handy when planning your vacation and plotting your day while at the parks). Our dinners were excellent, cooked to perfection. We ordered some of their special drinks from the bar and they were delicious and a unique experience. I will say, the menu is limited more to the French/Mediterranean cuisine style. But, food was exquisite and we found our portions were just right. Side note, if you have a dinner reservation here, hold on to your receipt and you can use it for re-entry later in the evening to experience the fireworks at Epcot, Hollywood Studios and even Magic Kingdom (in the distance) from the rooftop balcony lounge. It was an awesome site! The music can be heard through speakers on the balcony synchronized with Epcot fireworks music. This is an excellent restaurant. I know, hard to find a "bad" restaurant at Disney right?!
Be the first to ReplyThis is the priciest Mickey character meal on Disney World
This is the priciest Mickey character meal on Disney World property. The portions are small for the high price tag. The French toast is very thick and dense, like banana bread, so that was surprising to me. Service was good but the character interactions felt a bit rushed. The view from the patio is really nice to get some fresh air and sunshine after your meal.

We went on Valentines Day and had a really lovely brunch to remember. Our server, Chris, was outstanding and the food was impeccable. We made the reservation several months before Feb 14th using the Disney Fairy dining system. The view was breathtaking and we enjoyed the characters, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy who all added to the enchantment of the occasion. The diners around us helped take pictures for us and they we in turn took pictures for them. It was a celebratory event that should be experienced by Disney fans young and old.
