T-bone was tremendous.

Cozy, spot within the hotel. They were able to accommodate 11 of us. My partner and I had the Caesar salad, tri tip steak and mashed potatoes. He said it was the best steak he's ever had along with the chimichurri sauce. Everyone in our group loved what they ordered and our waitress was so kind. Highly recommend coming here if you're in Jackson!

We wanted to celebrate our 20th anniversary there, and we got the worst service! We were ignored, and then the staff was talking about us behind our back, giving us crusty's. We didn't even get the meal because we walked out. Do better guys!

The service was amazing. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We loved the overall atmosphere. It made our dining experience 10x better. The only thing that disappointed us was the dessert menu was limited because the freezer broke and we celebrated a birthday there and didn't find out until the end. Other than that 9.5/10

When in Jackson, sometimes you wanna treat yourself to an expensive bison steak and well, White Buffalo Club was the first place I tried. We arrived with a medium sized group without reservations right as it opened and managed to be seated quickly. Our waiter was kind of tight lipped in comparison to other diners , but the rest of the staff was chatty and kind. The stand out appetizer was the bone marrow -- not normally my choice but this was especially tender and very well spiced (it had a lil kick!). I also loved my Fashionable Scotch cocktail, essentially a glorified rusty nail but oh what a perfectly balanced one. My bison NY steak was cooked perfectly and though I ordered the truffle fries (a little too shoestring for my taste) I really enjoyed sampling the mashed potatoes so now I know. Nice spot, good mix of dressy to normal vibes, satisfying fancy meal.

Went with a friend, we're both long time residents of Jackson, over 30 years. This restaurant is essentially in a windowless basement. Decor is minimal and dark. The menu has good choices, but we had smash burgers and my friend's had a big piece of wax paper in it from the cheese wrap. They discounted her meal, but it should have been free. The wait staff is very nice!

Hands down this is one of the best meals I have ever eaten! I had the lobster Mac n cheese and it was creamy and delicious! Had my filet served on the Himalayan salt slab. It was tender and flavorful. My review would have been 4 star because the service was slightly lacking. There were only two other occupied tables - we ate early. Yet, it seems like the waitress didn't care to interact or check in. Being from the south our version of hospitality is different, so the waitress's vibe may just be typical of the establishment. That's why I left the star! However, I highly encourage this restaurant for a fine dining experience. The food will not disappoint!
Be the first to ReplyI had an extremely unpleasant experience at this restaurant.
Firstly, my mother found a bug in her salad, and the bone marrow we ordered was undercooked. In an attempt to salvage the situation, we requested some alternative dishes to eat because we had a long day in the national park and expressed our intention to leave. However, the staff insisted that the food was cooked and sent them to our table, but unfortunately, it lacked any flavor or taste. To top it off, we were charged $170 for the food we didn't even want. The only positive aspect was that our server was satisfactory. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

This is my favorite hidden gem in Jackson! The food, service and cocktails are all amazing and the atmosphere is upscale without pretense. I've been several times and consider this a must visit whenever I am in town.
Be the first to ReplyOverall Disappointing.
Specialty cocktails...expensive but excellent!. Service was a little slow, but acceptable. Food below average. My wife and I ordered the Ribeye and, honestly, the cut of the steak was poor. The coveted Spinalis (Cap)...the reason Rib-eye is so loved...was practically non-existent. Insufficient seasoning and very little exterior charring.. Mashed potato was under seasoned and almost tasteless. Caesar Salad was small but good!. Bottom Line: Staff was nice...atmosphere was nice...food was poor.

Made open table reservation at 5:15 as owner assured me earlier in the night he had no openings. We were 15 minutes late. Called 4 times to let restaurant know. No answer. When we showed up owner told me he had given our table away. I said I called four times and offered to show him my call log. He scolded me for not leaving voicemail. Then finally said he could seat us. We sat down. There were open tables all night. Bar fairly vacant. I then checked open table about 45 minutes after we sat....suddenly there were plenty of reservations for later in night. Fairly sure they make it look as if they are booked to drive reservations then open up reservations versus just looking as is they have too many open spots. As I have many complaints about ownership.....food was incredible. Not one bad dish all night. Best meal I've had in a long time. Hopefully this place can live up to how good the food is.

We made reservations here after seeing this restaurant and it's reviews on Open Table. We were a party of 3 and were seated immediately upon our arrival. The place is downstairs from what I assume is the hotel on the street level. The restaurant is somewhat small and intimate with a nice bar in the middle. We sat down and the staff took our drink orders quickly. The cocktails were great and they had a decent selection of bourbons and whiskeys! Next we ordered starters and salads, these came out shortly after and were a great beginning to our meal. When ordering our entrees, the server explained about the specials and their steaks. He recommended that two of the steaks we ordered be served on the salt block. Everyone in our party had steaks and they were ALL incredible, cooked to perfection and the quality of beef was top notch! The sides of mushrooms, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were all very good too. Our server recommended we order our steaks one temperature below what we usually prefer due to them still cooking on the salt block at the table and this turned out to be perfect! To finish our meal off we had a cookie baked in a skillet with vanilla ice cream and it was the perfect choice to end this decadent meal. The tab was not cheap but it was worth every penny! We had dinner at the Snake River Grill one night earlier and were extremely disappointed with their steaks. White Buffalo, you are our go to place for incredible steaks in Jackson from now on!

This is a very nice relaxing atmosphere restaurant with superior service. The cuts of meat are amazing. From a 40 oz Tomahawk stake, to bavette, rib eye, tenderloin, including bison cuts of meat and Elk tenderloin. That was my choice tonight the elk tenderloin. OMGGG melt in your mouth delicious. This might not be a restaurant that you would stop in at every week. But I assure you if you are looking for an extremely nice restaurant to enjoy a high quality meal. You need to call ahead reserve a table sit back relax and enjoy. Bon appétit

I came here on a recommendation from someone I was working with. She was bragging about the $10 burger and beer special. When I arrived, I learned they weren't doing the $10 happy hour special anymore, but it was now on their regular menu for $20. A great deal turned into just average pricing, but the burger was great! The patties are made from trimmings of their high-end steak cuts so they're flavorful and juicy. The burger comes with two patties, a great sauce, and a lot of fixings. The fries were crunchy. The beer was from a can, but it was cold and included...no complaints there! I sat at the bar just after opening. Nice ambiance with a feeling that this place is a hidden gem. I'll come back to check out more items on their menu! Only warning: this place I'd a little steep in pricing, so know that before you decide to dine here!

Excellent Jackson steakhouse restaurant with incredible selection of steaks served on Himalayan salt blocks. Complete with garlic butter and blue cheese butter, sautéed mushrooms. Yum! We also ordered the mussels which were some of the best we've had an were excellent. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyEasily one of the best meals I have ever had in my life.
The Restaurant is a casual chophouse serving USDA prime steaks, local fare & seafood plus robust wines & cocktails. I recommend the Lamb Lollipops, Beef Filet, and Bibb Lettuce. Ask for your meat to come out medium, or medium rare, so that the pink Himalayan salt rock can cook your meat to perfection.
Be the first to ReplyHighly underrated fantastic steakhouse in Jackson Hole.
The service was wonderful and they have an incredible wine selection. The ambience was ok, however we were seated in a separate room away from the restaurant (I'm assuming the rest of the restaurant was full) but it did affect the ambience. We were next to the Hotel's gym which was only separated by a red curtain. There was a space heater next to us as it got quite chilly With the breeze. The potatoes are DELICIOUS. We ordered it without gravy and loved everything about it. Great texture not too salty. I had the 8 oz filet, medium but found it over cooked. My friend had the exact same order and her medium filet was cooked more appropriately. I'd consider ordering a grade under just in case. My friend had the bison, medium rare, and it was fantastic! I usually don't like very games meats but the bison was cooked to perfection. Wish I ordered that instead. The Tiramisu for dessert was also great. Ice cream from Moos is also served on the menu and is always a nice treat.
Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant is currently closed for the season.
Look for it to open up at the first part of December. The 3 star rating above is not a reflection of my experience with the restaurant but the overall hotel as a whole.
