The Paddock Grill Orlando Reviews from The Last Year
Loved it!
It is a great hotel the family room os outstanding with all you need to chill after busy days in Disney. Coffee, laundry, ironing, cleaning service outstanding. Beds very comfortable and the views to the countryside are gorgeous. It is huge so you need to find the closest pool, service at the reception desk were fast and very nice.
An amazing, peaceful gem of a resort!
Hi All! We just returned a few days ago from a 4 night stay at Saratoga. I’ve been to many Disney resorts but never to Saratoga Springs. I booked direct with Disney since I am a TA. We actually took my mother to celebrate her 80th birthday and it couldn’t have been a better time!! We stayed in the Grandstand section and our room was actually ready by 930 am!! We had arrived from a one night stay at All Star Movies. It was amazing that the room was ready so early. We stayed in a 2 br villa and it was so wonderful! So clean, modern and comfortable. It felt like our own little apartment. We had mousekeeping daily since we booked through Disney which was nice. I also loved the washer and dryer- it was nice to wash our clothes before leaving! The villa had everything we needed including sample size detergents. The staff were so kind and actually left my mom a handwritten birthday card and a small gift! She was so happy and couldn’t get over the kindness. We hope to be back in the future!!
Beautiful Resort!
We stayed in the Grandstand section and it was beautiful. Our resort overlooked a lake. We had a large 1 bedroom unit. It was extremely nice and updated.
Beautiful resort with great facilities.
I have no idea why this resort gets so much nonsense talked about it! We stayed here for 10 nights in October as a family of three in a studio in the Grandstand section and loved it! I requested a room in the Paddock area, but that came lower down the list than a top floor room in the 23 line, which we received and were grateful for. The Grandstand area was nice and very quiet. We had a beautiful room with a great view. I love these refurbishments Disney are making, going towards a lighter, cleaner look than dark wood. The murphy bed pulled down from the wall and my daughter said it was really comfortable. Our bed was super comfortable. There was plenty of storage space with the massive drawer unit and a big wardrobe. Glad to see no awful shower curtains! People say that this resort is too big, and whilst it is large, it's not horrific. We had a car so didn't use the buses often, but when we did they were fine, no issues, clean, on time, friendly drivers, close bus stops. We were in the furthest building in our section and the walk to the lobby was 5 minutes, I really don't get what people complain about. It's designed so the lobby is relatively easy to access, apart from maybe the carousel section. Being so close to Disney Springs is great and we both walked and used the boat transport. We used the Paddock Pool and the High Rock Pools because they have slides for our daughter. They were nice, but a little cool in the evenings. Great cast members at the pools. So much fun. We didn't eat at The Turf bar as it looked too quiet and outdated for us. The Quick Service was tasty and convenient. We are sold on Saratoga and would definitely return in the future.
Beautifully updated rooms. Helpful staff.
Beautiful property. Great rooms. Very large resort. Staff was very helpful when we had a medical emergency. I really appreciated their kindness and assistance. The recently renovated rooms are absolutely gorgeous and our location in Congress was great for visiting Disney Springs. Buses to magic kingdom and Epcot were prompt and very efficient. The walk to the lobby and feature pool was a lot but it was all worth it.
Disappointed
Disappointed. We went during spring break and this was one of the only “deluxe” hotels left that provided early entry. Besides the early entry it is NOT even close to the same level as the other deluxe hotels. It feels motel-y, doors are on the outside. Hotel lobby staff are not knowledgeable, no one could actually help me or understood the Disney ticketing system. The room was wheelchair accessible (wasn’t needed or requested) and was badly in need of maintenance. Bus or Uber is the only transportation. Pool is loud and crowded. Room was not cleaned well, piles of dust under the bed and the shower leaked. I would not stay again.
A relaxing vacation!
I traveled with my husband the third week of March. We shared a studio room which was spacious and comfortable. My only complaint was that they only supplied disposable paper plates and plastic utensils. This was quickly remedied by contacting housekeeping and simply asking for ceramic dinnerware. They offered buses to the Disney parks and a boat ride to Disney Springs. All the employees we had contact with were extremely helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to returning!
Great Disney experience at Saratoga
All Staff was attentive to our every need or want. We never saw anyone with a frown on their face. Check in was flawless and speedy even helping set up our Disney Watchbands. (and it was Spring Break). We stayed in a 1 bedroom that accommodated 5. We had 3 adults and 2 children in our party plus 2 scooters. We felt very comfortable. Balcony view was great. We plan on coming back in July and look forward to staying in their 2 bedroom.
Resort in a Great Location
This is a wonderful location connected to Disney Springs by a walking path or take a short drive. The resort is very spread out with a golf course traversing the property. Parking can usually be found near your room. However, depending upon where you are on property you may be a fairly long distance from the lobby and other amenities. The location is about as centrally located as you can get in relation to all of the Disney theme parks. It is extremely close to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The only reason this location doesn't get a five is that the rooms are slightly smaller than most of the comparable resorts in this category. They still offer the same level of amenities, but with a little less square footage.
Zero customer service
A few bumps in the road led to me complaining to the front desk staff. Joe, a manager (it seems everyone behind the counter is a manager), was only good at explaining the reasons/excuses why these things are happening. He did apologize, but the feeling was very robotic and not very empathetic. His solution was to offer a free mini van ride to the park. I went back the next morning to find The Manager, but encountered two more managers. They were more kind and sympathetic. They also offered a mini van ride and $60 credit to cover the cost of genie plus. Although my genie plus cost is $700 for a family of 4 for 5 days. My initial complaints were that the Villa we booked had a queen and twin Murphy bed advertised. The room they gave us did not have the twin pull down (an ADA remodeled room with a great parking lot view). We were eventually given the room we paid for, but it was a hassle. I did not complain until the disturbance at our door. Disney has a daily well check on all rooms. They come to your room, Do not disturb sign or not, and knock until you answer the door. The man attempted to explain (English wasn't the best) that they must enter and do a visual inspection that everyone is well. This was right at the beginning of a planned nap between parks. The disturbance was enough to prevent us from taking a nap and being able to return to the park 7pm-close. I don't pretend to know why this occurs. My complaint was that this was not explained at all in the check in process. I paid $8000 for 5 nights, 5 days at park, and rental car. (plus the $700 for genie plus) The room was nice. The grounds are beautiful. The only problem, is if there is a problem. It's obvious that Disney only allows the managers the ability to offer a free mini van ride and $60 credit as a solution to any problem that arises. They did tell me that the missing Murphy bed room happens to a lot of people. I told them that is deceiving to give customers a room that does not sleep as many as advertised. Some of Joe's responses were eye popping. "as good people we should accept that accidents happen" "what do you want a pile of money?" "I think Disney has enough money they aren't trying to do this on purpose" "WE don't have control over the rooms" Obviously someone hiding behind a desk somewhere controls the renovations and the decision to give these substandard 1 bedroom Villas to customers and hope we don't notice. I would not return
An Amazing Experience!
We rented a Villa, it was paradise, full kitchen, laundry, it was a wonderful experience and the view from our room was gorgeous. Once they offered annual passes, we went for our Anniversary and we will be going again this next June. The restaurant The Turf Club is awesome, their food sublime and very affordable. Minutes away from the park and transportation is good although we always drive and park.

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
