Bottom line: hire more employees! Wait is waaaaay too long for what it is. There's a long wait for when they call you. Then you have to stand in the waiting area to be seated. At work I have to stand all day long. I don't want to be standing for extended periods of time if I don't have to on my days off. Plus you're waiting to be seated while squished with the people who are waiting to be called along with the people who are waiting to put their names in. I guess this is corporate's way of creating hype for the place. Doesn't do it for me. I just find it as an annoyance. I feel bad for the employees because you're creating this atmosphere where the customers are being seated and they're already in a bad mood. The servers themselves are very friendly and polite. I'm sure what they do can be very draining so I really appreciate their upbeat positivity. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside. They have an outside seating area which is gorgeous. Plants all around and a really nice fountain. Food... set aside 2 hours on a weekday afternoon to eat here before a movie. 2 hours wasn't enough. Food had to be remade because "it wasn't made right" according to employees. When the food finally came, the quality was below ok. Just not worth it. $60 for 2 people. No more. No thanks.

It was my first time at the Cerritos location, and after having a bad experience at the HB location- I didn't really have high expectations for this restaurant. Our party of 4 checked in at 6pm on a Saturday evening and were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait. We did not get seated until 7:15, so the wait was definitely more than just 30-40 minutes. That was the downside of this experience. They kept telling us we were next but let in larger parties that checked in after us. -1 for the wait Everything we ordered was good. We got the spicy chicken chipotle pasta, fried Mac and cheese, fried zucchini, and roadside sliders. The one thing that was NOT appetizing was the pasta carbonara with chicken. Ok so it hops from a plain carbonara pasta for $23-$24 to a chicken carbonara pasta for $30- which is not the problem. The problem is that the chicken were SCRAPS and it was NOT worth the extra bucks. Secondly, the pasta is very plain. It was not creamy and flavorful. I had to ask them to take it back but our server was extremely kind and communicative even on an extremely packed day.

I was once proud to say that I worked at The Cheesecake Factory when they were opening their first stores in OC. It is a shame how far The Cheesecake Factory has fallen. The level of service is horrific, not just at this store, but across California, it certainly isn't any better than Denny's, in fact, I often find the staff at Denny's to be friendlier, and better trained. The quality of the food has certainly declined, the bathrooms are filthy, the menus are handed to you dirty and oily, floors are not swept, tables are not properly wiped down, thus residue and other leftovers from the previous party are smeared on the surface. The executive team at The Cheesecake Factory should start to spend some time actually eating in their own restaurants, and shareholders should start to ask management some tough questions, or else it will only be a matter of time before the competition eliminates this company.

We didn't mind waiting one hour and forty minutes because we understand it's graduation season. But what I really hated was the disgusting dishes they expected us to eat our food off of. Our silverware was so dirty, waiter annoyingly changed them and the second round he brought was even worse than the first set. My fork had literal food still on it (see attached pictures) I shared this information on my downey community page and over 100 people said the same thing has happened to them at this precise location! I lost my appetite completely and if it weren't for my family who was so hungry I would have left. I personally didn't eat I was disgusted I refused even the hard bread we were given. Hope health department takes notice of the huge problem of this place. Apparently the dirty dishes according to my many neighbors is habitual in this place. Personally I will never again be dining at this location!

Please give her a raise !! My family loved her as she was patient with us, helpful, & knowledgable regarding the menu & food options. She is young but very mature & has amazing customer service skills. The service can easily ruin the experience & make someone not want to return again but her service was lovely & will definitely bring customers back . I've had horrible service at other locations but glad this time everything went perfect . My only complaint is that I'd love for the Georgia peach to be included in the happy hour, the price is a little high . I think more people would enjoy them if they were included on that menu or price was lowered.

Then the wait to see a waiter was very long, then the food took a long time to come. None of the dishes were particulary good. The fried shrimp batter was hard and scratchy like Pancho, but the shrimp was fresh at least. Crab dip was okay, The chicken Bellagio was just okay. Having worked at a restaurant myself, I was amazed at how the waiters and waitresses didn't look around to see if the customers were happy or maybe needed something. They would fly by looking straight ahead. They really need some good management. We finally got a coffee refill and some ketchup because we finally caught the eye of an older female waitress. The desserts Tira Misu (which I expected to be light) was mostly cake and heavy cream. The Ghirardelli cherry chocolate ? Was very heavy. All in all, we probably won't be back.

This piece of sh!t restaurant will have you waiting up to 3 hours or more. Some employees get lost conversating with each other instead of addressing customer's requests for service. I can't say anything about the food because we all left as soon as we realized they focused on customers who requested bar service. We waited almost 3 hours, but we won't ever go back. By the way, they do have a few violations listed, so I'm glad we left.

I had a great evening at the bar today, and I had some wonderful conversations with Robert and Ricardo. The service was exceptional - it seems like the team is really stepping up their game. Yooooooooooooooo! We come here maybe like once a month cause its close to home and if me and family cant decide on anything else. We hate the wait and the day we came they stopped giving us those buzzer instead they asked for our number and call us when our table is ready. But this time they accidentally taken my sisters phone number wrong even after she checked to followup on the table, the host said they gave our table to another party, my sister was annoyed since it was her birthday and we had to wait another 20 minutes for our table. Ambiance is always kinda quiet enough to talk but since there are alot of people its quite loud. The food was quite fast since i told the server we were super hungry we got to order right away and the bread came out quite fast. I ordered from the new menu they have online and wanted to try the Italian Rigatoni Pasta, Sausage, Pancetta, Mushrooms and Broccoli with Parmesan Cream and Ricotta Cheese and it was actually really good. My family ordered 2 Chicken Louisiana pasta, 3 chicken taco plate, and 2 crusted chicken romanos, and 2 basque cheese cakes and they were quite content with the service and food and total bill was about $200 not too bad for that amount of food.

we used to come here every year for my grandmas birthday dinner until we had the worst experience. we were a party of 12 and of course we knew the wait was going to be a long time which we didn't mind. i believe we waited an hour and a half for a table and once we were sat no waiters came in to take our order. we seen so many servers walking past our table, serving other tables and not one of them bothered to serve us. we waited over 30 minutes and after waiting that long me and my family were already upset at this point and my uncle went up to the hostess stand and told them how it's been over 30 minutes and we still haven't gotten served. 5 mins later we get a server. we knew it would be a waste of time if we would've left after waiting almost 2 hours for a table but then again this is my grandmas favorite spot and this is what she wanted for her birthday. that was the last time we celebrated her birthday at the cheesecake factory. we won't be dining at this location anymore.

We had a reservation around 7pm. The waitress that took care of us was really nice but she was just not attentive and took awhile for her to come check on us and the drinks took forever to come. After waiting we were just over it and wanted to leave. We asked for boxes but that took another 15 minutes but she was very fast when it came to dropping off the check that's the first thing she dropped off instead of the boxes lol. The food quality was not good tasted different the last time I came here and the quantity of food was less than what I got before.

Don't Come Here If You Have A "Big Group". They'll Tell You That You Need To Wait For The Manager, Let 10-15min Pass Then Tell You You'll Need To Wait An Hour To Be Accommodated. Meanwhile Groups Of 6 Plus Have No Problem Giving Their Name, & Being Seated Right Away. Mind You We Were There To Celebrate A Graduation. You're Better Off Going To A Nearby Restaurant Than Coming Here.

Honestly, my visit to Cheesecake Factory was a letdown from start to finish. Despite being seated promptly, it felt like we were invisible to our waitress. We practically had to wave semaphore flags to get her attention for basics like bread and drink refills, which never came despite multiple requests. As if that wasn't enough, our food took ages to arrive. We waited nearly forty minutes with just one measly appetizer to nibble on. And when I dared to ask about portion sizes, the response was snarky and unhelpful. Seriously, Cheesecake Factory, get it together. Your lack of care and slow service seriously soured what should have been a decent meal. The waitress only began improving her service once the meals came because she figured the tip was coming soon. Hope she wasn't too disappointed because Lord knows after that we didn't tip well. There was also a table of dumb teenagers smoking and hitting their vapes and the smell was very strong nauseating. Of course this isn't really on the establishment, it was definitely obvious enough for workers to pick up on. Count your days Cheesecake Factory.

Just ordered three slices of cheesecake to go and it took more than 30 minutes. If my husband wouldn't have said anything they will not remember my order. Erika E. who took my order forgot my order. She's been calling order for people's that been there after me while I'm waiting right in front of her and completely ignored my order. I told her that I've been waiting for a long time and she just gave me the look and without the apology. Expensive restaurant and mediocre service.

My boyfriend and I were celebrating an anniversary so we decided to go to cheesecake factory. The restaurant was extremely busy so we had to opt into sitting at the bar which isn't a problem for us. When attempting to order some of the appetizers several of our selections were either not in stock or they no longer serving which was disappointing. We ordered a steak and some potato and the portions are large. As mentioned previously it was a very busy day so even trying to go to the restroom was challenging. We grabbed a slice of cheesecake on the way out and enjoyed every morsel. The restaurant is dimly lit which could make it difficult to see during the night but is a part of the aesthetic. I'm not sure my boyfriend and I will be back due to the price and the lack of intimacy in our dining experience.

I was craving their buffalo blast all morning. The establishment was definitely busy but the restaurant was clean and well lite. We waited about 10-15 mins before sitting in Stephanie' section at the high tables in the bar area. She was super nice, checked on us multiple times throughout our visits. The food came out hot and fresh. The buffalo blast definitely hit the stop. Then Stephanie brought over the dessert menu and I ordered the Oreo cheesecake. OMG it was delicious. Everything was perfect and we can't wait to visit again.

The website doesn't support setting a quantity of items, so the three identical Kids Menu items had to be re-customized and added to the order one-by-one. After all that, the website would not function to place the order on the iOS mobile device we were trying to order on. Clicking the "purchase/place order" button did nothing. The kids still want Cheesecake Factory so after 10min of trying we give up on the mobile device and try again on the desktop computer. Rebuild the order.. One. Kids meal. At a time.Thankfully (I would regret that) the website works on desktop and I'm able to place my order at 7:53pm. I'm presented with a confirmation page - and email - that states my order will be ready at 8:23pm (website presents a time range, email gives an exact time) which is perfectly reasonable. It will take us 10min to get to the restaurant so we decide to leave in 10min. That should give us plenty of time.At 8:03pm I receive a text message that my order is ready. Are you kidding me?? Ok. My wife and I rush off to the restaurant.We arrive where the email and text message directs us, out front by the curb where the "attendant will assist" me, at 8:12pm. We see the booth. We see the Cheesecake Factory umbrellas, but no attendant. Ok. Maybe they are getting someone else's order and will be back out in a minute or two. After all, there is another vehicle stopped by the "curb-side" booth right in front of us. After 8min, the car in front of us drives off. No food. Not picking up anyone. Odd. We pull forward a few feet to make more room for the other cars that have since lined up behind us. After waiting 10min and still no attendant, I decide to finally give up on the "curb-side" process that was laid out for me at the start of this debacle, and call the restaurant.I tell the person who answers the phone I'm out front for a curbside pickup and there's no one here and he robotically transfers me to "Take out". After waiting on hold, listening to a Muzak system that desperately needs service, for another 6min, my wife decides enough is enough and proceeds with the option we specifically DID NOT choose at order checkout: going into the restaurant to pick up the order.By the time the "Take Out" person answers my phone call (I've stayed on hold), my wife has already asked for the manager while waiting for the order to be brought out.The "Take Out" person was the only one out of everyone we interacted with - even the manager - who seemed genuinely apologetic. The manager instead proceeded to explain to my wife how it's supposed to work, with someone out at the booth with a walkie-talkie at all times, but gave zero explanation or sincere apology as to why that wasn't the case or for so long. At 8:32pm, almost 20min after arriving, we finally pulled away from the curb with our dinner for the kids, and now 10min late to pick up my wife and my dinner from a different nearby restaurant.Overall, a wholly infuriating experience from beginning to end that has soured me so bad on this location, I don't know if I'll ever be back to it. Maybe if I see a "Under new management" banner hanging out front? I don't know.This location's 2.5 star rating on Yelp starts to make sense now. What doesn't make sense is with how far back those 1 star reviews go, why hasn't corporate stepped in yet? Are the generic, repeated responses to negative reviews via the Guest Services account it?

I was really looking forward to eating here I set my reservation so I wouldn't have to deal with the wait time and I was let down. I wish I had not come here at all, my waitress was so inattentive and the service was bad. She didn't want to help us with anything and was attending other tables much better than ours. I don't know if it was my skin tone that affected her service but save yourself the trip and go somewhere else. Rude service and I've had much better food at other locations, the truffle honey chicken had no honey sauce and when I requested some she brought some out when I was done with my meal. I would not come again.

Worst salad ever! I love their salad that I splurge to add steak. Don't even do that. They give you cube meat. Salad wilted, no avocado no bbq sauce. omg terrible. The serving size is awful for a $30 salad. They skimp on everything. Never ordering take out from this store. You shouldn't do it too
