We โค the Pink Palace
The most welcoming atmosphere in a historic setting. We spent a few days here in early March for a family trip and it was so special. We love the gardens, the restaurants, the vibe, and attentive service at this signature hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills!
Be the first to ReplyA special place...
The Beverly Hills Hotel is my idea of the perfect place. I have written many reviews, and this one is just the latest. We have stayed here countless times over the years, and our most recent visit, during the holidays, was every bit as glorious as every stay we have ever had! Everything about this hotel is awesome, of course. You know it is well-managed as soon as you arrive. The architecture is incredible. Every time I visit, I see more details in the architecture that I love. We have stayed in many room types. On this most recent stay, we were in a junior suite...beautiful space with great outdoor space and convenient to everything within the hotel. It's no surprise, I'm sure, to hear the hotel is beautiful, but what I find most impressive about The Beverly Hills Hotel is the people who work there. They are warm, friendly, and inviting! We have made many friends there at the front desk, in housekeeping, in the restaurants, and on our most recent visit, I even met some lovely people from accounting! We love this place. It's an oasis in the Los Angeles area. Highly recommend!

We went with friends to the Beverly Hills hotel and we had an amazing experience at this iconic hotel. The whole customer experience surpassed any and all of our expectations, the hotel is simply stunning and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic time.We had dinner and drinks in the famed Polo lounge and the service and the meal were outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble and we would like to say thank you and well done to an incredible team of people and also the management for taking such fantastic care of us!
Be the first to ReplyWorld class service
The world class service at the Beverly Hills hotel is unforgettable. The suits offer the true Hollywood experience inspired by their famous guests. The hidden gem, the polo lounge offers amazing food with personal staff service. Five starts to the spa and the outdoor pool.
Be the first to ReplyNice for a drink, but parking makes it expensive
We decided to go to the hotel to enjoy a drink or two at the Polo Lounge. The bar was nice, with a good selection. I expected to pay a premium for drinks there. What I did not anticipate was that as I got my car back from the valet, they asked for $20. This is with the restaurant validation! There was no mention of this from the valet as I gave them the car. This was totally unprofessional.
Be the first to ReplyWarm & Welcoming
I have stayed here about a dozen times over the past 30 years and each visit was for a girls trip. No place better to go to make you feel relaxed and special. EACH AND EVERY team member at BHH is outstanding. Granted, we pay a price to be treated so well, but most of the staff is truly genuine in the way they treat you as a guest. Or.... they deserve an Oscar for their performance :) The hotel is warm and welcoming from the moment you pull up. There are other luxury hotels in the area but they don't have the warm feeling that BHH has. The staff remembers who you are (how do they do that so well with so many guests?) and call you by name; Mrs. Smith, Mr. Jones. The rooms are SO comfortable and well appointed. The only suggestion I have is, if necessary, request a rollaway bed over using the sofa bed. We needed an extra bed for our visit and I was told that the couch was extremely comfortable (as I knew the rollaway's were from previous stays). Unfortunately, the sofa bed is not that great. The lighting systems in the rooms are wonderful - they can be set to one of four settings with a touch of a button. We enjoyed the complimentary bicycles. They made for a fun afternoon. Concierege is AMAZING. Polo Loung and Coffee Shop staff AWESOME. Housekeeping and Front Desk and Bellmen are SUPERB. Past years the pool attendants were really good, but this year they and the staff at the Cabana Cafe were just okay. Fitness center is small but well appointed. One of my travel companions got a massage by John in the spa. She wont shut up about how good it was! In the past I had a really bad experience there and should have spoken up about it. Some of the staff was aware of what happened and it disappoints me that no one came to me afterwards. We checked out the next morning and I was was still in shock at that time so I never stood up for myself. To this day I have a sour taste in my mouth from that, but other than that and one other minor incident everything has been perfect. It's pricy at BHH but well worth it. Splurge and enjoy yourself - YOU WONT REGRET IT!
Be the first to ReplyBest Iconic hotel and service in BH.
The hotel consistently exceeds my exceptions and level of service time and time again, noting a VERY personal touch of caring! The rooms are great (very comfy) Executive superior and above! Itโs old schools Hollywood meets new stream comfort! The concierges and entire support team makes you feel like a superstar! ***** 5+ Stars

I returned to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was a sublime experience. I stayed in a Bungalow which I highly recommend, the atmosphere is from other times, the impeccable service, refined details, excellent breakfast
Be the first to ReplyAmazing as always, unpleasant encounter with gift shop employeesโฆ
My partner and I visited the Polo Lounge twice in June 2022 (visiting from the UK) and were so impressed with the whole of Beverly Hills that we returned again for two weeks and visited another few times for dinner reservations. We were treated like royalty throughout each visit, the employees and concierge were so friendly and bubbly, the food was to die for (Iโd recommend the soufflรฉ for dessert!) and there are so many wonderful things to say about the people there, the food and the overall experience. We were, however, left with a very sour taste in our mouths this morning when we returned to buy some souvenirs from the gift shop downstairs. The girls on the desk were very unwelcoming and came across extremely rude and unhelpful - we did feel like they didnโt want us there. They chewed their gum and didnโt bring their eyes up from their screen when we tried to ask them the prices of the gifts and even upon checkout they were extremely abrupt. We usually do not come on to write negative reviews, especially in somewhere like this where we enjoy so much, but I just want others to beware of this. For this reason we have chosen to give 4 stars but I want to make it clear that the Polo Lounge and the employees upstairs provide a 5-star service always!
Be the first to ReplyExpensive stay
My husband and I have been visiting The Beverly Hills Hotel regularly since 2005. Sometimes 2-3 times a year. We live in Denmark, but love California, and especially The Beverly Hills Hotel. One thing I donโt understand, is how expensive it has become. In 2017 we paid 675$ for a superior room with balcony. Today we have to pay double! So this September we shorten our stay from 5 to 3 nights, because of the high prices. That makes me sad, and I am wondering why the prices have gone so high? Best Wishes Gita Elimar Denmark ๐ฉ๐ฐ
Be the first to ReplyFinally seen The Hotel California with my own eyes
On a dark desert highway Cool wind in my hair Warm smell of Coolitas Rising up through the air Are the 1st lines how this famous Eagles song start of the nostalgic Eagles. I know the lines and I can sing the song since decades. It almost looked the same like on the Album photo of the Eagles. That angle was across the road at the other side of the wide lane where all the traffic passed by. Inside the hotel everything was interiored classic n class style. But I better keep the memory of the photo of the hotel from the outside. Last thing I remember I was looking for the door I had to find the passage back To the place I was before Relax said the night man We are programmed to receive You can check out any time But you can never leave
Be the first to ReplyPrices doubled! Same hotel! From $595 to $1,500 per night. Hmmmm
So very sad, as I love this hotel. Have been coming here for yearsโฆ.and decided to go again. Friends trip. What we paid for pre- Covid was $595 per night. Now, $1,500 per night. No difference. Same hotel, food service, etc. just not worth it. Sorry.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Hotel and Staff!
My favorite hotel for last 15 years been coming here all the staff works hard to make the best experience. I always look forward to my visits to Beverly Hills hotel! Polo Lounge is a must and some of the best things on the menu are chocolate soufflรฉ and steak tartare!
Be the first to ReplyPrecious Pink Palace.
The Beverly Hills Hotel is a stately property, dubbed the 'Pink Palace' for its striking pink exteriors and interiors. In the epicenter of La-La Land, it is near L. A. 's most famous streets of Rodeo Drive, Beverly Drive and located on Sunset Boulevard in the prestigious 90210 zip code. I was impressed with it's signature banana wallpaper that line the ha part of the vintage Hollywood ingredients of this hotel. The hotel sports a bevy of room categories and I snagged a King Suite with a garden view of Beverly Hills. With a large footprint, the chamber was outfitted with a soft color palette, luxe finishes and an Art Deco vibe. An attractive rug graced the floor accompanied by a stunning sofa and a raft of high tech room appliances. The bath was spacious and with marble attire and a fancy shower. The Beverly Hills Hotel has several eating options. The Polo Lounge is a buzzing, spectacular restaurant space and haunt of Hollywood stars and movie makers. This facility pops out American cuisine with a tinge of Italian for good measure. Serving items like oysters, chicken parm, risotto and the like.......but my fav were the tortellini and the signature McCarthy salad. Additional eateries consist of the Cabana Cafe for pool side edibles, the Fountain Coffee Room based on a typical California coffee Shop and Bar Nineteen12's terrace that overlooks the pool and serves racey cocktails. Other amenities include the Polo Lounge embraced by an array of palm trees and flowered landscaped spaces and is a great outdoor dining venue. The Spa, with a full range of treatments, is well equipped to rejuvenate hotel clients and locals. I relaxed with a Pink Himalayan Salt Stone Massage.......relaxing but I wondered if they could have gotten the stones a little closer to home. A luxurious pool area provided a resort like atmosphere to the hotel along with a fitness center equipped with all the exercise goodies. Customer service was superb. So, if you are attracted to pink and would be thrilled to stay at a premiere Beverly Hills hotel that inspired the Eagles famous tune: Hotel California, ............then try the .............Beverly Hills Hotel.......Precious Pink Palace.
Be the first to ReplyLovely place for a date
This lovely art deco hotel from the age of classic Hollywood is a great place to go with a date to go for a drink or a tea. The hotel lobby is beautiful, quaint, and quiet. The lobby has alcoves with fireplaces where one can spend a leisurely time with a date and a drink. This is really my favorite place in Beverly Hills for a date. It's beyond gorgeous. Highly recommended!

Our stay at this beautiful place was like being in a dream in which I never wanted to wake. The history, food, room, staffโฆ. Everything was choreographed perfection. We plan to make this an annual weekend getaway we loved it so much!!!
Be the first to ReplyAn historic and service oriented hotel
An historic and service-oriented hotel. Arrival: very attentive valets and doormen. Decor: beautifully appointed throughout from fresh flowers in the elegant lobby to excellent hardware on doors. I attended a professional conference in the โCrystal Ballroom.โ The facilities were excellent- beautiful, clean, and well appointed. Wifi: complimentary wifi for the conference was not fast. Ran an Nperf test and it measured the wifi at 18.9 Mb/s down and 14.2 Mb/s up. Not good enough for real business needs but barely adequate for checking email at a conference. Overall cleanliness: excellent Restroom cleanliness: excellent Catering: Had a catered meal for the conference that consisted of tortilla soup, chick on risotto, and a chocolate dessert. Tortilla soup was so-so, chicken was good, and the dessert was good. Excellent service. Service: all encounters with hotel staff were excellent. At a catered event, one of the guests of honor was a WWII vet who is 100 years old. A young lady on the hotelโs staff paid extra attention to this gentleman and assisted him by letting him hold onto her arm as he got off the stage. She was very proactive in assisting the elderly gentleman. Value: the least expensive room for the conference was $1000/night before taxes. I spoke to a colleague who stayed here for the conference, and he reported a good sleep experience with no noise. But he didnโt think the room was worth the price. On the other hand, itโs all about location and convenience in Beverly Hills.
Be the first to ReplySunday Lunch at Le Cabana - you can never go wrong with this placeโฆ
Family of 10 on holiday had a wonderful Sunday lunch at The Cabana Cafe. The hotel continues to be an incredible mix of new and old with traditional Hollywood star qualities and the poolside Cabana has exquisite tables with an incredible menu. Food and service continues to be second to none and we all left feeling that we had had a magical afternoon. The even remembered our birthdays missed due to covid. Wonderful and Manager, John Scanlon continues to bring sophistication from London to LA.

Our stay at the BHH was perfect, from start to finish! Upon check in, we were thrilled to find out we had received a double upgrade. Our upgraded room had a spacious balcony with a 4-person dining table. It was perfect for us to order room service and enjoy it outside! All of the staff members were phenomenal and so helpful. The pool area is beautiful and clean, with delicious poolside food and drinks available from the Cabana Cafe. Dinner at the Polo Lounge topped off our experience! Although pricey, this hotel is worth it due to how exceptional everything is!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful!
A wonderful experience from start to finish. Wonderful room, wonderful staff and great food and drink. We visited as part of a 16 night tour of California (we are form the UK). By far the best hotel on or tour and overall probably the best weโve stayed in worldwide. Pretty much faultless. We will return!
Be the first to ReplyWorth every penny!
The most amazing customer service from EVERYONE.Every single department from the wait staff, to the front desk staff to room service...everyone! The room was so comfortable, the pool was fabulous, the grounds are lovely. I only wish I stayed there longer. It was amazing! Can't wait to go back!
Be the first to ReplyIf you can afford to stay here, donโt hesitate! But Prices are astronomical, even for a 5 star hotel in Beverly Hills.
This is the best hotel in the United States, Iโve been to five star properties all over the country and no hotel comes close to the BHH. The only hotels that offer the same level of service are the Ritz Hotel Paris and Hotel Plaza Athenee Paris, and possibly Burj Al Arab in Dubai and St Regis Maldives, no other hotels come to mind. Of course you pay dearly for a hotel like this, expect to spend $2,000 a night here easily.
Be the first to ReplyINCREDIBLE, world-class, thoughtful staff
This is my second trip to the fabled "pink palace" and the team here is always so incredible. Although there are always too many people's names to get each time (but you know who you are!!), a special huge THANK YOU to Rebecca and the others of the Creative Planning Team in particular. When they heard I was coming because I was a nominee in a film festival, they put together an incredible SUGAR DIORAMA featuring edible artwork from my project! Needless to say, I was incredibly blown away when I saw it in my room. It was truly one of the most thoughtful things anyone has ever done for me. The fact that so many people in the communications chain took the time to find out what my project was and put something like that together meant the world to me. It made me feel there are still people in the world who care, and who will go the extra mile to make people feel special. Thank you for making my special little day wonderful, and I hope I can find a way to return the favor one day. Thank you, thank you, thank you, and can't wait to see you next time!!
Be the first to ReplyBest weekend ever!
Visited over Memorial Day weekend and the hotel far exceeded our expectations. Service, location, food, drinks and pool amenities were just outstanding. We love it so much we are booking for longer for our Summer holiday. Cannot wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyAppalling service
We booked via hotels.com to stay here and the booking from hotels.com clearly confirmed VIP perks of complimentary room upgrade, bottle of wine and early/late check in/out because we were Gold members. Upon arrival none of this was acknowledged and when we informed them of us they flat out refused to accept our status. We even emailed them our confirmation email which stated all the above and heard crickets. We then had to call hotels.com and they then called the hotel and finally they accepted our status. After dealing with several unhelpful people and waiting for the so-called manager to get back to us (who didn't) we were eventually helped by a lovely lady, Fouzia. She was the only one that was professional and actually interested in resolving our issue but even she mentioned that the management were difficult to deal with and at the end of the day, she is just an employee. After our stay I filled in a survey about the issue and was contacted by their guest relations who 'confirmed' that they were right to which I replied that they were clearly wrong and if he wanted to actually investigate properly I could forward him the hotels.com email confirming the benefits but there was no reply. A bit of research shows that they are part of the Dorchester Collection who is owned by the Sultan of Brunei and a quick google search shows why many celebrities are boycotting this hotel and it's not just the service.
