Excellent place for couples or groups
The views are beautiful. We had been here before but wanted to share this great place with friends. We ordered wine and sat outside enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. Food is available as well. I can see booking a group event here sometime in the future.
Be the first to ReplyGREAT VINEYARD IN THE MALIBU MOUNTAINS
This review concerns Cielo Farm used as a Wedding Venue. We (BELLA VITA EVENTS - EVENT PLANNERS) were lucky to work at Cielo Farm last June. We had a great experience there! We worked closely with Jamie and Rob, and they are both so lovely and great at what they do! We personally know Rob, and we like to see him blossom and expand the Venue's capabilities. Cielo Farm is a wonderful Wedding Venue. It is a charming rustic vineyard nested in the Malibu Mountains. It is surrounded by a breathtaking scenery. The outdoor ceremony spaces, set next to the fountain and facing the rolling hills, create an intimate and romantic atmosphere. The rustic barn, and dance floor area adorned with fairy twinkle lights, which is adding an elegant touch to the open-air reception area. Known for its commitment to sustainable practices, Cielo Farm provides a farm-to-table culinary experience with locally sourced delights, in-house wine, and experienced preferred vendors. Our Bella Vita Events attentive event coordination team working hand in hand with the Venue's Team ensured a marvelous celebration, making Cielo Farm an ideal choice for couples seeking a picturesque and memorable wedding venue with a European flair. - BELLA VITA EVENTS
Be the first to ReplyWine Club Scam, Rude, Incapable of having civilized conversation
$846.83 Scam ! Run away while you can. They enrolled me in a so called wine club and I paid original payment of $150 and when I tried to cancel my membership, they charged me another $376 and this is on the top of what I had already paid for everything $470.48 already. You can see the picture of the charge. When I tried to call them. on the phone to simply understand and inquire very politely about the bogus charges the owner/manager, Robert Hirsh, was extremely rude and he hung up on me. I simply asked I wish to return the unused and unopened goods and he replied you can't return them. Further he said we are going to charge you more for what you already paid for. They up charged each bottle of wine $100 because I wanted to cancel my membership and they don't want to take them back and they are not even capable of having a civilized conversation on the phone when I called, they hung up! This is absurd, ridiculous and plain old scam. You can see the pictures of the bill, for 2 pizzas and a small cheese board and a bottle of prosecco which is about $12, they had already charged me $470.48. So they decided it was not enough and they made up bunch of other bogus charges and they felt compelled to charge me another $376.35 which is a total of $846.83 and they refuse to even discuss it on the phone and they hang up. This is the text book definition of scam. For 2 mediocre pizzas, a cheese board and a bottle of $12 prosecco! You would expect at least they would have a good service, but you are wrong. You have to go to the counter and order the food like cafeterias. There are many hidden gems in Los Angeles. This is not one of them. This is a simple and plain scam, charging close to a $1000 for a couple of pizzas. Needless to say I will be disputing the fraudulent charges. Hopefully this review saves some people who are just trying to have a simple bite and a glass of wine and they end up getting scammed and taken advantage of. Stay away !!! Run Run Run ...

in regards to the food: Let me start off by saying that the pizza is actually quite exquisite. The wine is good but unfotunately on a friday night they'll probably be out of charcuterie boards. In regards to pricing: I think it is a bit on the high end for pizza however, any good pizza place is also charging about $29 fro 16". I would know, I eat a lot of it haha! In total we spent about $378 fir 1 bottle and like 6 pizzas for 6 of us. You can decide if that's expensive or not. In regards to the parking: It does suck because you have to pay $12 more which I am not a fan of but whatever. In regards to the service: immaculate. Absolutely no complaints. Everyone is very helpful. Even though they did not have flights on Friday (which is another complaint) they still let us sample a a few of them before we bought a bottle. Everyone was friendly and simply easy to talk to. The reservations are also hefty but they do return that to your bank after you get there (takes couple days to see it on your account i believe). Would I go again? I would. But I really wish they had wine flights and jazz nights on a friday night or weekend night. Days where people actually can go because they do not work the next day lol. Enjoyed ourselves in a lovely afternoon wine tasting at the Cielo Farms and soaking in the warm autumn sun. You need to make online reservation before heading over. I arrived as the first or second customer just prior to the opening. There are plenty of seats and table around, but the early ones got the best views. Online reservations include 2 glasses of tasting wine. On top of that, we paid for an additional flight of wine for tasting. I had been to other wine tasting (mainly in Australia) before, and I think the wine tasting here or bottled wine is on the high side. But still, I had a nice afternoon here.
Be the first to ReplyBuyer beware for - The Trail wine tasting events
Signed up for a wine tasting event ($125/per person for 4 people) for what we thought would be a formal wine tasting lunch to celebrate a birthday. What we received was a taco plate with beans & rice and 5 small wine tastings, which was not what we expected or warranted for the price. While the setting is lovely as was the tables covered with umbrellas, there was minimal wine education other - than - "what did you think of the rose". We felt bamboozled and save your money. There are far better options in the area for a lovely outdoor lunch with 2 glasses of wine. I hate giving a poor review but this was necessary.

Delightful lunch under shady umbrellas enjoying the spectacular view while sipping White Rabbit Sauvignon Blanc and eating wood-fired pizza.

What a beautiful setting this place is. It's secluded, has breathtaking views, and is awfully romantic that will make even the unhappiest couples want to get married again and renew their vows. They also take the pandemic seriously here. We answered a series of questions and had our temperatures checked before we were allowed to say "wine please". I mean that whole process just made us so thirsty we decided to sign up to their wine membership in a heartbeat which ultimately turned out to be a deal. Instead of paying $100+ for 1 bottle, we ended up paying about $150 for 2 bottles of their very own - Cab Sauv and Syrah. We're supposed to get our next shipment of 3 bottles soon and if I remember correctly, it'll be for the same price so that's about $50 each bottle. Only in Malibu. Kidding aside, the grounds are really majestic here. It's a wonderful escape from all the craziness and I can only imagine how the views are during the day since we came at night. They also have a food menu with pizza being their popular item per the nice gentleman manning the place.
