This location is just on the edge of Borough market.
The interior is cozy with table seating as well as high tops. Food: Peppers, ham croquettes, squid ink rice, and patatas bravas were decent. Shrimp was delicious. Steak was sinewy and hard to slice even with a sharp steak knife. Cost: £92 for three of us. Service: Friendly and efficient.

The host lady here is extremely unpleasant and will kill the vibe. The app that you have to download (Dojo) to join the queue here gives you a twenty minute window to arrive. We arrived within that twenty minutes but we had not read the notification that the line moved faster than expected as we were on the way.The host was extremely rude and yelled at us upon arrival that we should have checked our notifications. Her rudeness stunned us; she yelled at us as if we were stupid. We are still confused as to why she had quite so much anger and attitude. It left a very bitter taste. We ended up going to another tapas place down the road, "Lobos Meat & Tapas". It was a great decision, Lobos was delicious, the waiters lovely, and architecturally very fun (it is carved out of the arches of the train station).
Be the first to ReplyTapas Brindisa London Bridge is being reviewed not for it's
Tapas Brindisa London Bridge is being reviewed not for it's food but for the total lack of security while being a patron. We had searched google for a tapas restaurant and Brindisa popped up. It was only a few blocks from where we where. When we arrived there were two men smoking just outside the entry way and right next to the table where we were going to seat. We had mentioned this but no one seem to care. The younger thinner man (if he can be called a man after attacking a 67 year old man) didn't want to move but did begrudgingly so we could be seated. We let the smoking go as they were outside but when they started flicking the cigarette ash at us we asked them to move. They did but the 50ish older man started yelling F..k you at us for 10 to 15 seconds at the top of his lungs and that he didn't care. We ignored this childish behavior thinking the restaurant staff would do something but they did not. The older man came up to my daughter and was in her face yelling f..k you and challenged her to fight. Now this man was in his 50's 6'1" and about 230 to 250, my daughter is 5'1". No one from the restaurant came to our aid. My daughter never engaged and her husband was on the other side and before he could do anything the man went back inside the restaurant. Why the restaurant would allow him to go back into the restaurant shows a total lack of concern for their patrons as this man was not in control of his emotions. No one from the restaurant staff came up to us to assure us that situation was going to be taken care of that we should feel safe. As I was looking at the menu the older man came storming out to the restaurant and attacked my son in law from behind. I jumped to my son in law's aid but was jumped by the younger man knocking me to the ground where he began kicking me while I was on the ground. My wife came to my aid but he pushed her to the ground. My daughter came to aid as well and when I was able to lock up this person legs, someone told me to let him go as he wasn't a threat. I let him go didn't realize that my daughter had him from behind and when I let him go he turned on her pushing her to the ground . He was going after her but some other men stepped in front of him and told him he wasn't going to do anything to her. My son in law was able to handle his attacker. Both of these criminals were allowed back in the restaurant. The younger criminal before going back into the restaurant walked towards me and I thought he was going to apologize but no he slapped me in the head. The restaurant said they called the police but our other friend who was with us flagged down the police. Once these criminals saw that we weren't leaving until police came the restaurant allowed these criminals to slip out the back door. The restaurant reasoning was they didn't want anymore trouble. When the police arrived and were interviewing us the manager asked if we were going to eat we said we weren't eating and he asked us if we could move. If they would have intervened earlier this wouldn't have gotten to this point with four tourists being assaulted. So if you want to eat there remember that they let their customers act in criminal behavior and you might be caught in the middle of it. Now they will dispute this so let them post videos that everyone knows they have from the time we arrived until the Police arrived.

My friend and I ate dinner here after going to a show at the globe theater. We sat outside and they were heaters above us which made it really comfortable. The weight staff was fabulous and the food was delicious. Salad was a little bland and I had a white sangria which was nothing to write home about. The olives were amazing and so was the chorizo (only a touch spicy).Overall I would say this place is a great find and I would definitely go back again.

Terrific Authentic Spanish foodGreat spot for people watching Nice wine listGreat serviceWent there for a dinner and were on the waitlist. We got lucky as a table for 4 opened up so we were seated quickly. Great service with staff taking orders and explaining food and wine list. Share most dishes as some have allergies. They were very accommodating. See the pictures for a description. Iberico was a hit!Prawns nice size. Potato was loaded!Beans were great. Just a little tough. Great olives e cheese plater. I highly recommend this place.

The food and service were superb!! Must try the Iberico pork. We stumbled upon this little gem when walking through the Borough Market, and we were all blown away by the quality and taste of every dish!

After enjoying so many wonderful tapa's in Spain , Spanish Tapas served in a London square right off the market area sounded exciting but unfortunately the Tapa's we tried were hit or miss. We started with a cocktail & some basic cava. First up , the padron peppers and they were rockstar! Then we order the rest of our items and they all come out together at once in about 5 minutes. Only saw the waitress once more after that, because they brought one incorrect dish. The fresh tomato salad with roasted hazelnuts was possibly one of the best I have had but the bread ( pan) & the truffle mushroom rice (risotto) were blah, boring and dry. The fried goat cheese with supposedly an egg & drizzled with honey was nice. Overall only a 50/50 experience.

Tapas Brindisa is hard to miss, it stands boldly on the corner of the street and is usually buzzing with people. That made me and a friend wonder in to try what the hype was about. The service was good given how busy the place was. The food quality was ok and so was the sangria. We ordered a mix of tapas from seafood to veggie sides. The food loses a star for me given the quality you would expect from Spanish tapa food and the ambiance loss the other star since it was so crowded you can barely get through the spaces to the restrooms and the poor staff struggles to get by with all the food and drinks.

Phenomenal food and drink - and though very busy in a Saturday night, still very attentive and caring service. An absolute winner at the edge of Borough Market. If I don't go back again this time, a sure keeper for the next visit

I happened upon this lovely restaurant on the edge of Borough Market. I was feeling for an indoor, seated service place. The tapas selections were wide ranging. I recently spent time with vegetarians on this business trip and was aware of the multiple selections the menu offered. As a ardent carnivore, it also has items for me. The dishess came out fast and fresh. My favorites wwere the huevos Rotos Con Sobrasada and the croquettes de jamon.

The pork dish was so tender and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful in giving some suggestions. I would skip the sausage on toast (way too salty) and skip the bruschetta (nothing special). Go for the pork steak in bacon and the chicken with mushrooms. Those 2 dishes were phenomenal.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was good and the sangria was excellent.
You have to order a bunch of dishes because the portions are tiny. Think of it as going to a sushi joint. We ordered the cured ham, prawns, clams, and about 4 more tapas. It was good and the service was excellent. You're gonna have to spend Sushi prices though.
Be the first to ReplyStraight up authentic tapas.
If you can get a seat outside, grab it ! Great selections. I had the shrimp, house bread, and orange stuffed green olives. Outstanding.
Be the first to ReplyEverything ordered was excellent.
Gambas al ajillo, fried goat cheese with orange blossom honey, ham & cheese croquetas, patatas bravas, chorizo leon. All of it was well made and on point. Split it 3 ways before going out. No complaints. Will return. Well done.

The concept as well as the taste and portions of the food was ideal! This place gets packed and the reason is obvious. Food comes out pretty quick; Just as fast as it get to the table it is gone. Flavor couldn't be any better and they have a good menu full of options.
Be the first to ReplyWanted to like this place more than I did.
It was really crowded and had a fun vibe, but was lacking in the service department. The tapas we got were just alright and they forgot to bring us two of the tapas we ordered. They did have delicious sangria though!

Well.... we came to this place highly recommended by friends on November 17, 2018. For some reason, they only had about five items available on the menu. We chose the Patatas Bravas and the Tortilla Espanola. I don't know what was going on with the kitchen, so we just made the most of it. Borough Market was insanely packed, so we decided it would be faster to eat here where at least we would have a table. The potatoes were nothing special at all. Very bland roasted potatoes with a bland sauce that tasted like straight mayonnaise. I've had an insanely good version of this dish in Portland, OR at Tasty N Sons/Tasty N Alder, so I know what it *can* taste like. This had no spice or flavor at all. On the other hand, their tortilla espanola was incredible. A truly special and delicious entree. Guess we caught them on a bad day. Sad about that...

We went there as we were kind of late for the market and padella was crowded with people. It is a lively place. Lots and lots of people inside. Super loud. Me and my partner are not loudest people around so the conversation wasn't easy. On the other hand it did make me think of Mediterranean. Food was good. Small plates of tapas. Do order at least 3 per person as they're not super big. One that blew me away was not a chrorizo thing or some fish but cold and vegetarian mix that I cannot remember the name of and cannot find on the menu. My companion liked it quite a bit. Oh one neutral thing I can say is that bread that we were given in addition was just ok. I'd have hoped for more tbh.I probably won't visit it again due to the loud atmosphere and not very memorable food. Now that I think of the food there again I also don't remember anything spectacular. I guess I do recommend it but not without reservations. I'd feel bad for rating it a 3 but I feel 4 is little high based on my experience. If you like tapas and are all into that atmosphere then you'll definitely enjoy it a lot. Especially go with large group of friends then the experience will be greater with great variance of tapas.
