Sushi rolls are yummy, shrimp tempura roll, chicken lollipops are fantastic every time. Noodle dishes are fresh and a great shareable item, and if it's your birthday you MUST get the giant fortune cookie!

I went to Tao this week for the second time and like the first time it was a good experience. I went in with a large party this trip and the service was fantastic. The foodie in the group took it upon herself to order appetizers for the table and there was some of almost everything on the menu. Other than some vegetarian green roll I tried everything and it was all excellent. The potstickers were my favorite. For an entree I had the crispy Thai Shrimp. The shrimp were crispy outside and cooked perfectly with a sweet and spicy chili sauce. We also ordered three different fried rice dishes, the Shang Hai fried rice was my favorite. We also had a bunch of drinks and some of the House Sake for the table. All in all Tao was excellent from start to finish!

Hit out of the park today! Could not ask for a better dining experience! Our server, Tiffany, was lovely, helpful, knowledgeable about the menu and super attentive!!!! The atmosphere is always wonderful! The meal- simply superb!!!! Her suggestion of the olive fried rice was perfect! Such a unique, delicious flavor! Every dish was outstanding! Can't wait to go back!
Be the first to ReplyCame here with my sister for her birthday.
This place is very spacious and decorated nicely. We ordered the pork potstickers appetizer, it had a perfect texture and a nice kick. We were supposed to share one chicken lo mien but it was so delicious we ordered another. Our filet mignon came out perfect as ordered. The sever was very attentive and friendly. For dessert we ordered the dessert platter that came with mini donuts and a giant fortune cookie, we also ordered the potted carrot cake. We had several drinks from the menu and it was flavorful. Everything was presented well and photo worthy, it was just a bit dark; next time I'll invest in a camera light. Our bill was $400 for only 2 people before tip! Although it's expensive, I'd definitely be willing to come again.
Be the first to ReplyI have been coming here since it opened.
Never had a bad meal ever. The servers sometimes are not so good(forgetful and slow). The ambiance is amazing, very modern, live DJ, fountain etc. pricy but expected. Definitely coming back

Reservation a must. Gorgeous entrance/lobby/wait area. Service is lovely. Now, the food: edamame was so over salted that even my salt-obsessed kid had to shake the pieces off before eating. Best thing on the menu: cracking pork belly. Go here and eat this and leave happy happy. The bubbles and berries is large and in charge and refreshing as a summer breeze. The Hong king fried noodles (not authentic-zero crispy noodles) and Chinese broccoli were okay. The sushi was like anyplace else. The worst thing to order would be the orange chicken. What an embarrassment. $36 and Panda Express does it better. Tsk tsk. We thought that in a place like Tao they would experiment or make it somehow extraordinary. Nope. Do not get this. Total let down. Overall you pay big time for the vibe and decor and with dishes like the orange chicken I would definitely save my $200 and eat someplace else and still afford dessert.
Be the first to ReplyI came here around 5ish on a Saturday with a friend.
They were all booked up in the dining room of course, but we were told we could sit anywhere in the bar/lounge area. It was a nice atmosphere with low lighting and chill music in the background. We sat at the bar and ordered our food and drinks. We started out with the shishito peppers for an appetizer which were delicious- mild and tender. I ordered the tofu pad thai while my friend ordered the soy tuna roll and the trio of sashimi. We also shared some saki. Everything we ordered was delicious! The roll and sashimi were beautifully presented. The tofu pad thai did not have any tofu in it, however, it tasted good and it appeared they used extra mushrooms to hide the fact that there was no tofu in it. I mentioned this to the bartender and she apologized and said she wouldn't charge us for the saki. I wasn't expecting that but it was very nice of her. The bartenders were very friendly and efficient. We were surprised how quickly our food came out on a busy Saturday night. This was a great dining experience and I would be delighted to return!

We dined here for new year's eve without a reservation! We also went early and glad we did. They were already busy and we were greeted and seated quickly. I loved the decor and ambience. I could party, dine, and network in one place. They played really great music also. This place is good for a group and you should ask to be seated at one of the round tables. Everything we had was amazing, and flavorful. Staff is on standby to keep your water full and your setting clean. Very polite and vibrant staff that weren't overbearing, yet attentive. I could have had 3 Divinity drinks but I didn't, maybe next time. The lobster wonton were the best I've had in a long time. I look forward to coming here again. It's one of the best at the casino.

It is pretty expensive but worth it. I went w/ my sister for my birthday. We had a couple of drinks & they were so good!We had dumplings as an appetizer. It was cooked just right & it had a little kick of spiciness. For our main course we both ordered filet mignon. Filet mignon came out just the way we ordered. I love mines medium rare & my sis medium well. For dessert we had just about every dessert on the menu. We got the carrot cake decorated in a flower pot w/ chocolate crumbs as the dirt. It was so cool b/c you hit it w/ a spoon & it cracks open. Everything is edible. We also had the mini donuts, the giant fortune cookie ,strawberries w/ different melted chocolate to dip them in, & molten chocolate cake w/ ice cream. The staff also sung me happy birthday. They gave me vanilla ice cream w/ a chocolate saying happy birthday. The waitress was very nice & attentive. The restaurant had a low key ambiance w/ candles lit everywhere (which was kind of weird b/c I was w/ my sis). It was a little bit too dark for me. No lights just candles. Decorations were really cool! Great photo ops (except it's too dark)! Highly recommend this restaurant! Everything was so delicioso!! Amazingly good!
Be the first to ReplySecond time dining with you.
I was originally here in 2022 after my Mom passed away. I liked it so much I chose to celebrate my Birthday dining with you again. This time I was sat in the back in the private room with 5 other table. Thank you so much for that seating placement I felt like a princess it was spacious and not to claustrophobic as half booth seating Is sat at my first time dining with you. Our server Ashley was magnificent she was so nice and very attentive to our table. The food was delicious highlight the fish cake for the hot and sour soup. The caviar oysters a must try and tuna with avocado appetizer my number 1. The mango drink has just the amount of spice and sweetness. Loved my experience dining with you!
Be the first to ReplyGood food just wish I could of finished it.
Went to the bathroom to come back to the server taking my entree away. We were only there for 1 hour. $115 for two drinks, two apps and 1 entree. He didn't even ask if we wanted another round of drinks! Don't treat your guests like a number. We pay for our food and experience. Sorry, wanted to like this place for my birthday dinner but was very disappointed. Now I have to go find somewhere else in the casino to actually eat dinner.
Be the first to ReplyWe went on a Friday and it was very loud inside.
The food was good but overpriced IMO.
Be the first to ReplyI love it here! This is not my first time being at a Tao
I love it here! This is not my first time being at a Tao location but it was my first time being at this particular Tao. I didn't have reservations for a Saturday night at 9:30pm and luckily I found an opening for 10:00pm. My group of 4 got lucky! As soon as you walk in it's a whole vibe, the music is blasting and the restaurant is dark and looks cool. Don't worry you are able to talk with the music on , it's great music btw. My group ordered cocktails and a ton of sushi to share . I wish I could tell you which rolls we got but I'm pretty sure we ordered most of them lol they were all so good ! What I'm trying to say is, you won't go wrong with picking any one of them , they were amazing. We had the best time and would definitely go back.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was great.
The giant fortune cookie was a fave. The decor and ambience are perfect for a date night.

Wow! So good and so worth the wait of many years and not putting in a reservation ahead of time. APPS APPS APPS!!!! They were so tasty and great to share. We had the chicken lollypops, spicy tuna tartare, tuna poke and lobster wontons and each was better than the last! Any complaint would be its a bit too dark and too loud from the club mixed music. Looking forward to going back again and trying more
Be the first to ReplyFirst time at Tao and the food was delicious.
We had the triple pork fried rice, pork buns, ribs, chicken satay and the molten lava cake. My two favorite items were the pork buns and the molten lava cake.
Be the first to ReplyVery good crispy orange chicken! Edamame was decent.
The fried rice was very salty. Over priced if ya ask me but an ok place to dine at on a night off w friends or family.
Be the first to ReplyFood was good.
Wayyy overpriced. Hostess was a bit rude and didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Waiter was pleasantAmbiance: LOUD LOUD music. If you're into the club scene where you're yelling at the person you're eating with, go for it but definitely not my vibe. We were there on a Thursday night at 6:30pm so didn't expect it to be this loud.
Be the first to ReplyThis was my favorite dinner spot at Mohegan Sun.
cool nighttime vibe and tasty food. I tried a few things - they were all very flavorful. I did feel that the restaurant is a bit commercial, and the food wasn't five stars, but it's a solid choice while at Mohegan Sun. chicken lollipops were good but a bit too sweet for my taste. spicy tuna on crispy rice and chicken gyoza were flavorful, spicy, and solid choices. would dine here again :)

My third time here and the first time I tried the Chilean Sea bass appetizer. It was sweet but good. The triple pork fried rice was good too. The pork belly Bao was my favorite thing. Oh ans the molten cake was not just delicious but beautiful!

Been here 20x plus. Never a bad meal. Service is usually on point. Except once or twice with the same waitress.
