Outstanding fine dining for an affordable price
Outstanding sea bream and dessert. Looked fantastic. Would pay much more in the UK for such quality. Especially delicious cheesecake with great service and a great ceiling to match. We were a walk in on a Saturday night. I made the mistake of ordering my cheesecake with everything else - which resulted in my partner not being offered one. Was reluctant to share such a treat. I'd also suggest dressing up a little as I arrived in a t-shirt and did feel out of place. Our overall bill was 300 Zlotys - around £60 for fine dining for two is fine by me.
Tasty, too bad I found a hair in my food.
Tasty food, nice location and very friendly. A hair in the food is the reason for my low rating. Too bad, otherwise I can recommend it.
Great lunch location!
I had a great lunch here on the square in Krakow. Admittedly, I only had the Caesar salad with chicken so that’s not enough to give any place 5 stars. But the salad was great and the location is fantastic. Oh… also had the crème brûlée which was below average.
Perfect for a date
Magnificent evening! Candlelight dinner, quality dishes and very good service. Excellent value. We will keep very good memories of it!
Dissapointed
Disappointing experience. On Saturday, when all other restaurants were full with people, Szara was almost empty, which already alarmed us, but we decided to give the chance to the restaurant. The duck was almost raw and not tasty, and the meat we found tasteless as well. The money we spent was not worth it. 10% for service were added, which we were not warned about.
Great place (and reasonably priced cocktails)
Such a lovely spot for drinks in krakow main square with the option to sit outside (with shelter and heat lamps) or indoor. Cocktails were lovely, and reasonably priced. We had a lovely time people watching and just enjoying the views. I would highly recommend ***** The only let down which I have to mention, was the toilets. These need serious attention. It smelled like someone had died in there.
Wow what a place.
Fabulous location, beautiful restaurant, we booked last minute as was unsure between this and another restaurant, wow so glad we went chose this one. Staff could not have been nicer, our table was the one in the window overlooking the main square what a perfect view. Food was amazing, the house wine was not only great value but also very good and as said the service was amazing. We was so impressed we went back the next evening for another meal. Thank you for making Krakow so tasty.
Delicious food with a wonderful view
Exquisite food, beautifully prepared, delicious and well thought out flavours, we can’t here on our visit last year and couldn’t wait to come back this year, and it did t disappoint, just perfect.
Fantastic food drinks and staff !
This is the second time we have visited this restaurant and we weren’t disappointed, the food is absolutely fantastic and we were well looked after by the staff. We also had drinks at the bar which has a good atmosphere with great music and again the guys behind the bar made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting to give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed 😁
A restaurant to try to discover the local cuisine
Excellent discovery close to the central square of Krakow. In a magnificent vaulted room, sit down and discover quality local cuisine. The dishes are very generous, well prepared with top-notch service. Price-wise, they are slightly high but hey, quality at a price. Absolutely worth trying if you are passing through Krakow.
Down hill and food now is terrible
Have been going here for last three years on our annual visits to krakow, first time was fantastic meal, second visit was good but not great, this time however was terrible food, and prices have increased dramatically, i had a mushroom soup with ravioli to start, on arrival the soup had a chocolate sauce drizzled in in it , the pasta was stodgy and choc in soup made it uneatable , was foul, mt partner had octopus was average , second course was a streak served with a dried up wedges , and a bowl of pig fat lumps and boiled to death mushrooms, absolutely disgusting meal , my partner had lamb with smothered goats cheese sauce drowning any flavour of the lamb, worst meal ever had at £86 , came out and had to get something else to eat, dont waste your money here its horrible and expensive, shame because used to be lovely
Delicious dinner
After some deciding where to eat in centre of Krakow, we decided for the Szara restaurant. The ambient is very nice and welcoming. The waiter was nice. The food was delicious. The steak cooked perfectly and also the duck. And all the sauce and side dishes. Also the beef tartare was perfect. You mix it yourself. Because we took two, as we thought it would be smaller, we didnt have the space for the dessert, But next time for sure. I recommend visiting when walking City centre of Krakow. Note: The 10% tip is included in the Bill. We didnt notice it so we put also a tip in cash.
Best Cocktails in Krakow
We did not eat at Szara, but we definitely supped a lot of drinks here! A great selection of Polish lagers and beers (the dark at 8% is delicious!) And a very VERY good range of cocktails made the "proper" way. The Linchburg Lemonade is an absolutely winner! We sat outside in the heated area overlooking the main square with the horse Carriages clip-clopping under the sunset, listening to the bugle at St Mary's. On our last evening, we sat in the bar, where we were hosted by excellent bar staff. Soft Rhythm & Blues playing over the stereo in a cosy bar is most welcome. Everyone was very polite and very quick! I can't fault them. Thank you to the lovely waitress who recognised us from our first visit and came over especially to chat and ask how our visit to Poland has been (visit York, you'll love it). 5* service and cocktails.
Great dinner in a historic location overlooking the main square.
Excellent location, right on the main mediaeval square in Krakow. food was excellent as always and service prompt, friendly and professional. the restaurant is in a very historic location and has a beautiful interior with lovely medieval painted arches overhead. the atmosphere and the service help make the evening special. highly recommended.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
