Brunch, I didn't like that they didn't have coffee
Brunch, I didn't like that they didn't have coffee selections, only black coffee. But the food was good. Place is clean, next to LA live / the pantry. Looks fun, but something is missing idk what it is... They did have a brick oven for pizza that was cool

I want to go back! We want the Wagyu Truffle Ravioli and the Sardine appetizers.

Tried this place out for Valentine's Day this year with my wife. Normally this is the one day out of the year that I dread going out to dinner, but gotta suck it up and make the best of it (I really don't care for noisy crowded hassles). Something about my research into this place told me it would be cool.Everything about my experience was great! Parking was free in the adjacent structure for 3 hours. Upon entering we were greeted warmly and promptly lead to a great table. The waitress and other staff were friendly and professional. Food and drink were fantastic and came out in a reasonable amount of time. The overall vibe of the place was cool and contemporary, but not pretentious...even the music was great! If you're by Olympic and Figueroa and looking for a nice joint to eat, drink, and hang, then give this spot serious consideration! Personally I am already looking forward to returning!
Be the first to ReplyHad a good time at this place.
Location is right off the 110fwy and easy to locate. The food was great and price was good. Our food came out quick as we got there at 5pm just when dinner started. Our waiter was ok. I will be going again, but just for the bar to try some drinks as they has some cool ones on the menu.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is one of the best in downtown.
I feel like it's kind of a secret, so I don't want to give away too much. The food is amazing. And their happy hour...omg. Seriously, I'm surprised more people don't know about this place, but maybe that's a good thing for me since I can go here without being bothered. It's "international" fare, but I would say it leans toward Spanish with just a hint of Southern Italian more than anything else. Of course, that's not exactly a definitive statement; the menu is still international. But everything is very fresh and bright and flavorful. They're also not trying to "re-invent the wheel," so-to-speak, which is rather refreshing, especially for LA. If you can make it for their happy hour (or anytime, really), do yourself the favor. You won't be displeased.

First time here and the drinks were amazing! Spicy margaritas are actually spicy! . Food was great! Please try the bruschetta, you won't regret it. Or host/server was Oscar and he was amazing! Super attentive and had great suggestions! Will be back to try more things on the menu!
Be the first to ReplyLet me just start by saying the service here was great.
The host was so friendly and helpful. He had a good energy to him. The waiter's service was decent. He seemed like he needed some more training perhaps. Overall, the service was good. What I dread to say is the following: I really did not enjoy the food at all. We ordered a few things for the table and shared, and everything lacked flavor. Not enough seasoning in the food. Everything was very bland. It has potential, it just needs a little more taste. The pizza was good. The bread was super soft and easy to chew, but again, lacked flavor. The fries with truffle, needed salt. The ceviche also needed salt and something else. All you can taste is the fish, maybe instead of bread, serve it with some tostada chips or something crunchy and more authentic. It was ceviche from Peru so correct me if I'm wrong and it does go with bread. The bruschetta, was good but made the bread extremely soggy. I've had plenty of bruschetta versions in varies restaurants and never had the bread be so soggy. Lastly, the ravioli was decent, but definitely needed more flavor. Again, everything lacked seasoning! It's like there was no salt or other spices added to any of the dishes. They were all bland and left much to be desired. This place has so much potential, but they seriously need to add flavor to their dishes. Not sure I would come back, or if I would recommend this place. I feel like I spent money to be left unsatisfied, and that's not a good feeling.

Let's start off with " I AM A FOODIE"!!! I know good food and I am impressed with the customer service, ambience and food at Strada Eateria & Bar. Just as good as the food looks on their Instagram is how it looks in person and taste AAHHHMAZING! We found this little jewel on the happeningdtla Instagram and we were not disappointed. Julian the manager made sure we were taken care of and treated us as if we were guest of his home. I'm in love. Yes for date night at this beautiful restaurant in dtla.

Be the first to ReplyAn expensive tourist restaurant in Downtown L.
A. near the Convention Center. But notice the sky high rating - four and a half stars. If they let me personally give four and a half star ratings, I would exactly match what the other Yelpers are saying. This place is expensive - but it gives legitimate good value for the dollar. They don't bleed your wallet dry and give you the same steak you could make at home Or bleed your wallet dry and serve up plain old food with fancy platings. The kitchen goes to work and cranks out some seriously interesting food. The bar selection is absolutely first rate.I would eat here again very happily indeed, although my accountant might not be too happy with that prospect.* * *The dish that won my heart was a poke ceviche. There is a lot of ceviche in this town. There is a lot of poke in this town.I am sure the ultimate L.A. ceviche and the ultimate L.A. poke are all elsewhere. But this ceviche poke was really really good. The Strada angle ...Make a dressing that is legitimately hot.Like firey hot.It is not that there are hot peppers or piles of chili pepper or hot sauce that you can run into. The fire is worked suavely across the whole dish. But the fire level is such that it is almost too intense to eat the poke all by itself.THENServe beautifully thick home made toasted white bread wedges as a platform for the ceviche.People forget how good white bread can be when it is homemade and freshly baked. This is a James Beard white bread. It is charred - so it is soft and fluffly the way that you want white bread to be ...But it has the taste of the grill.I could eat those lovely wedges all by themselves. But they are also the perfect foil for spicy spicy ceviche. The two tastes blended and combined perfectly. This is what I call a good lunch.Better yet - the serving was enormous. This was not some stupid hotel restaurant where they charge you a fortune for not that much food.If they were going to charge you like royalty, they at least gave you a truly king size portion ... and it was a king size portion of regal food. This monarch left happy.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service.
I Came here for happy hour with my husband and toddler on a nice summer weekday evening. They are sort of kid friendly with high chairs available, but no kids menu. Though, they accommodated and made my boy some buttered noodles! Margaritas were great AND the lamb skewers were perfectly seasoned. Omg, we could've eaten 10 of them. The vibe was very chill. We will be back for brunch and dinner to update this review.

Great food, great service, and beautiful space! And they open for lunch now. If you like spicy food, the ceviche del Peru is very fresh and well prepared but the star of the show is the leche de tigre chutney! You won't be disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambience, great service.
The poke ceviche was literally one of the best, if not the best things I have ever eaten in my life. Worth the trip just for that!

A friend and I stopped in for lunch on a recent Saturday and were greeted by management as soon as we as we walked in the door. From the moment we were seated, the service was excellent and the food was even better. Strada will definitely be a place we return. The menu had such a delicious set of options - we cannot wait to return and try something new.

Exceptional Restaurant! Came here all the way from Lake Arrowhead and boy was this a treat! Oscar was our server and he was very friendly and helpful! The drinks were perfectly strong and tasty. For appetizer we had bruschetta and it was SO GOOD some of the best I've ever had honestly! We had pizza for the entree (strada and margherita I believe), one in house and one to go for the movies, both were some of my favorite pizza ever. I Will definitely be back!

Love the place! We only went there once, but the service of Oscar and others was excellent, the place looks beautiful, reasonable price quality food (!), Really recommend papardelle a la paella for two !! Good to like fingers!
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere, the drinks & food also didn't fall short.
Lots of unique seafood options, first I've seen a ceviche with salmon. I will be back, looking forward to exploring the menu further!
Be the first to Replywonderful visit! we were helped out by oscar.
he was extremely helpful and patient. he was quick and efficient and even told us about some cool stuff about the restaurant! everything is made in house, from the syrups to the food ingredients. the bruschetta was extremely good... amazing.. really. the bread was soft and fresh... the vinaigrette was so delicious and the tomatoes were fresh!! i LOVED it!! we were obsessed. the Strada Pizza was delicious ... i avoid meat as much as possible but the sausage on it was just so ... so good. the crust was so soft, crunchy and had a great flavor. it was made with a lot of care and love and it transferred to a great meal. we even took another pizza to go! was just so good! thank you to the restaurant for an amazing time! and thank you oscar for his patience and amazing service!
Be the first to ReplyWe came here for happy hour before the Journey/Toto concert
We came here for happy hour before the Journey/Toto concert as it was within walking distance. I liked that the happy hour went until 6:30PM. Also, the portions were nice and big. I ordered the bruschetta and the ceviche de poke. Both dishes had ciabatta bread in it that was very airy, light, and enjoyable. I liked the spicy margarita as well. It had an interesting kick to it. We sat in the outdoor patio area and the atmosphere was great. There were a good amount of people but it still felt quiet as it's nestled away from the downtown traffic noise. There is a parking structure right next to the restaurant which is very convenient. However, it was a little difficult to find. The address to the parking lot was on the menu but not on the website. Plugging the address into our gps would have made it a lot easier. I would definitely come back here. The staff were nice as well.

Their fresh squeezed cocktails and limeade were amazing, as well as their pamplona pizza and croquettes. I went for dineLA and they had an amazing pear almond tart. Chef is definitely talented. Convenient location in DTLA too with tons of outdoor seating, and parking with validation.

The food was excellent, promptly delivered and thoughtfully curated. The service was FANTASTIC. Well staffed, great service and high quality ingredients including drinks. I would say it beats the majority of places in the vicinity. Thank you for the welcome and warm experience. We can't wait for our next time.Tonight's Dishes: Strada Pizza, Lobster & Cognac Ravioli, Beat Salad, and decadent strawberry shortcake dessert (must try)

(3.5/5) I wish I could rate halfway. Very quick and pleasant service. The food is beautifully presented and tasty. I will say there was no true "wow" factor to any of the dishes but nothing was disappointing. Leige Belgian Waffle (3/5) this dish was pretty and a nice sweet end to a savory meal. The waffle was a little tougher than I preferred but that might be Leige style?Bruschetta with jamon (4/5) we added Kanin tot heir standard bruschetta. Loved the sweet balsamic and how it played with the savory notes of the jamon. Amsterdam croquettes(5/5) really liked the croquette dish. I think they were beef? The sauce was tasty but strange for croquettes. I'm pretty sure it was ketchup and Dijon Eggs Benedict with salmon (4/5). I liked the truffle oil in the hollandaisse. Truffle can be overplayed but it was nice in this dish. The potatoes were great as well. The salmon itself was too salty.
