Fabulous food in Oslo city centre
We chose the tasting menu with flights of wine, which left us well and truly stuffed by the end! Lovely ambience, very attentive staff and great food/wine - would highly recommend a visit here!
Tremendous experience, well worth a Michelin star
The whole experience was an adventure, from start to finish. Absolutely lovely food, very good wine package, where the wines on the pole cost up to NOK 500 a bottle. Much exciting and unknown to me. The only thing I wasn't weak for was one of the appetizers, the one with liver mousse, but that's just me. The quail was incredibly good. And the desserts! And everything else. The service is very friendly and fun, if you invite it. There were also quite a few fun blind tastings. Some were very difficult, like the sweet wine from Languedoc
A Great Way to Kick-off our first Visit to Norway! Bon Appetit!
What a fantastic evening! Great food, great service, great atmosphere - what you'd expect from a Michelin Star restaurant (and the price to match). My wife and I ate dinner here during a pre-Viking Cruise extension in Oslo. Selected it based upon other TA reviews and were not disappointed. We ordered the full 7-course pre-fixe menu, and I added the wine pairing. There were several "surprise" courses added along the way, nearly always presented by 2-3 staff members. Our waiter, Patrick, was fantastic, and did a great job explaining everything - including the wine pairings. There were multiple dining rooms, and we were in a smaller one - perhaps 4-5 tables, and rather intimate, with a nice table at the window overlooking the street below. Very convenient... we walked from the Radisson Blu near the train station.
Absolute excellence.
We wanted to greet Norway with a star and we succeeded very well. We didn't choose the tasting menu but even choosing à la carte we were amazed by the cuisine. The two main courses, duck and reindeer, are unforgettable. Impeccable service in an elegant and refined decor. I will miss this country very much 🇳🇴

An experience
Great traditional venue. We ate a 3-course meal from the a la carte menu. Lots of temptation so hard to choose. Had halibut with scallops, and a celeriac dish for starters. Pigeon for main courses and blackcurrant and caramel, and sorbet for desserts. Finished with coffee avec. good suggestions for wines were given to us. Everything tasted lovely. A rather large main course. Recommended
Awards dinner with colleagues
Had an unforgettable evening in the cellar with good colleagues and a 10-course menu and extended wine package. This was absolutely fantastic. The food and accompanying drinks were simply exquisite and all the good waiters made this an absolutely top experience. Thank you very much!
Very nice experience!
We had a great time and had a delicious evening. We opted for the 5-course menu. The place is magnificent and the chef really deserves his star. The plates are very well prepared and everything is delicious. We also had the chance to speak with Torbjorn Forster in French! The service is perfect, neither very fast nor too long and the explanations of the dishes in English are understandable.
Best dining experience
Fantastic venue. We got a window table. Had the large tasting menu with wine package. Service, information about food and wine was brilliant. The food (all dishes) was incredibly tasty with that little extra. Recommend the crayfish and cod which was heavenly. Best dining experience we've had. Expensive, but worth every penny.
Make the Christmas food yourself
Ate the Christmas plate with unsmoked mincemeat. The accompaniments were floury boiled potatoes that were dry and tasteless and a completely normal kohlrabi stew that you can make better at home. None of the contents could be used as sauce or stock. It was overall very dry. The meat was good. A little power at the bottom of the plate could have saved it. Fortunately, the company was good!
Strongly recommend
We were a table of 8 who all had the taster menu. The food was as good as we’d hoped with particular standouts being the langoustine, reindeer and duck. The extra small tasters before the main menu were amazing too. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the sommelier helped us pick some wines we wouldn’t have usually gone with. I needed to make some amendments to the booking in advance and they couldn’t have been more helpful.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
