OUR DINNER IN SPACE
Was so excited to get a reservation to dine here and so wanted for it to live up to my expectations. Sadly, it was just ok. 1st, there isn’t any place to sit, no benches, at the check in area. People are just sitting on the ground. The “elevator” into space is really neat, as is the “wow” of entering into the main dining area but from then on it was just an average, expensive experience to us. The 2 person tables are about 3 rows from the windows but you still have a good view of the activities floating by in space. We were in the center but it looked like there wasn’t as much activity happening in the far right windows?? It is a 3 course dinner, NO beverage included and NO bread, like at Be Our Guest at MK. I had the beef ribs/cheese grits which were good and tender but was more like a roast to me. I had the chocolate cheesecake. It was good but had a blue/tangy topping covering it which was surprisingly good. My husband had the pork chop, which came with a long “cowboy handle” which he said he liked. He had the chocolate cake which he said was also good. This is probably a “one and done” for us unless we take our grandchildren sometime. I think it would be really neat to younger children. I think for the $$ we prefer Be Our Guest at Magic Kingdom.

We were all looking forward to our Space 220 dinner, and what a disappointment it was. First, we were left standing for minutes between people dining as they looked for a different table that could accommodate our baby carriage. Then came the food, which had to be the worst in all of Disney World. The entrees (salmon, cioppino, short ribs and filet) all suffered in different ways, but generally were not tasty. Desserts were pretty, but lacked flavor. Then came the bill ($79.99 per person), and when I offered my Disney annual pass for a discount I was told that only applied at lunch, not dinner! I spoke to a manager, who brought the bill down a bit, but it was still far too overpriced. What a terrible meal overall. Save your money and walk the World Showcase to find better food and better prices.
Be the first to ReplyWorse than Sci fi diner!
Officially the worst food in Disney, even worse than Sci fi diner. You’re forced to get a starter and main from a very limited menu, even when you scrape to find something you might like, it’s terrible! If you like salt with your salt, this is the place for you.
Be the first to ReplyUnique and fun experience!! The carrot cake is the star :)
We absolutely love it here! We always reserve the lounge so we can enjoy the best carrot cake ever made! You can't beat the ambiance, from the presentation taking you up into space, the incredible customer service, and the views of Earth while you enjoy some cocktails, I would recommend the lounge at least once in your Disney travels! (If you get Michelle serving you, you've hit the jackpot! We felt like we left with a new friend!)
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
We dined here on recommendation from the our tour operator. We raced to get booking once we could because we heard it was so in demand. Sadly the food was really expensive and mediocre. The most disappointing part was that we were basically sat next to a black screen that had some stars scattered around and the whole thing felt so rushed like the waiting staff were trying to get you out as quickly as possible. Won’t be returning.
Be the first to ReplyTasty but expensive
The food was incredible! Everything cooked to perfection and quite tasty. The service was good and the theming was amazing. It got a little tiring of every wait person asking if this was our first time in space. I get it but let it go a bit. It was incredibly expensive so certainly not for the budget minded.
Be the first to ReplyMediocre for the price unless it's your first time.
For the price, it's just not worth it anymore. When 220 first opened, the service was near Michelin Star quality, and it was worth the high price tag. Dinner shares a lot of the same menu items with Lunch. The appetizers and desserts are good, and the entrees were acceptable at best. The staff, ambiance, cleanliness and service was great. The complimentary water is municipality filtered tap, and served warm, which is surprising considering how high the bills can be if you eat here. Seems completely out of place if you ask me. We've eaten here 3 times in 3 years, and the first was nothing like the rest. I think you guys should have really left PRG alone with this one as the quality has noticably tanked. Unless we see a change on social media or hear word of mouth otherwise, we won't be stopping here again. Disneys management constantly min/maxxing everything killed another nice thing in my opinion.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious surprise in Space
The meal was excellent! I had the Salmon it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The venue a space themed restaurant was really unbelievable. We were seated next to the window where we could view the astronauts fixing things the best was we saw them walking their space dog! So much fun. But, the best part was meeting our server in space Lacy🥰 She went above and beyond to make our dining experience special!! Not only was she personable, she was efficient answering all of our questions and guiding us through the menu and drink choices. She is a valuable asset to your space team! Also everyone we encountered on earth and in space was friendly and helped our experience. Well done!.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent experience & delicious food
Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is really cool. You can see astronauts and spaceships floating by. Ben (Benjamin E) was an excellent server as well, which always helps to make your dining experience extra special.
Be the first to ReplyCool for a one-time thing
Booked this 60 days out (although I did notice that people were able to walk up and try to get into the lounge - not sure how long the wait though). Very cool concept obviously and my kids really enjoyed looking for all the things out the "window." Obviously crazy expensive (but the portions were big and food/drinks were good). Wouldn't do it again, but a cool one-time experience.
Be the first to ReplyOne of a kind experience
Superb food. Amazing one of a kind experience. Amazing staff. Kyle was a great waiter. The Chocolate cheesecake was magical
Be the first to ReplyVery inconsistent food quality
The experience is cool but the food is really hit or miss. I understand the weird reviews now, one says it is great, the other says it is awful. I ordered the Lobster stuffed with crab, it was great. My wife and oldest son both ordered the short rib and it was awful (I personally tried them both as they both can be picky, they were as described, chewy, tough and flavorless). My mom and other son ordered the filet, one was great and cut like butter, the other was really chewy (both ordered the same temp). I usually would have requested the manager but it was late and my one year old needed to go. We requested our deserts to go, paid the check and left. Also, despite the gratuity being included (I confirmed with the waitress), the receipt still had a suggested tip amounts ranging from 18-25% on the bottom. I can see that really confusing people which is also not cool. For $500+ we expected five excellent meals, not two.

This was a hit! This was the first time I’ve been able to get a reservation. My 13 year old loved it. The space greens and Caesar salads were great - with lettuce grown at Epcot. So fresh. We had the filet and the chicken - the filet is better. Finally - carrot cake. Honestly the best I’ve ever had.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible food way over priced
Me and my partner spent months trying to get in to the restaurant we got engaged on holiday and decided to celebrate this at space when we did we was so disappointed actually spoilt our day. I had calamari for starter and if im honest if they had served me a car tyer it would have tasted less like rubber. I then had the roast chicken with a small bone hanging out of it. One mouth full and I honestly couldn't even bring myself to eat for the rest of the night. I didn't eat a thing that I ordered and it cost $55 pp. This may look good for taking pictures but I would avoid if you actually want to eat. Disappointed
Be the first to ReplyGreat Food and Experience
We dined here on here on a Sunday. All our entrees were delicious as were our first course. Our kids’ meals were typical, chicken strips and a cheeseburger. The spaghetti shrimp was good as was the salmon that my mother-in-law had. My wife enjoyed her steak and frites too. The environment was space-like and the experience was wonderful. Price is the only drawback here: $55 per adult.
Be the first to ReplyThank you Alessio
We've been here a couple of times and the service, food and atmosphere are all incredible. The price may seem high to some, but trust me when I say that it is worth every penny. The entrées and appetizers are delicious, as are the selection of drinks. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the entire staff, but most notably, our waiter, Alessio. He is originally from Italy and was so attentive and genuinely engaged with us. Providing amazing suggestions for our meal as well as a list of places to visit during a future trip to his hometown, Rome. In years to come, we may forget the details of the rides and attractions, but we will not forget the incredible service and kindness of Alessio. Aside from our tip, I really hope he recieves some substantial form of recognition from the management team. We can not thank him enough!

The ride “up” and when you enter the seating area is impressive. I heard one child say wow and the other gasped. I knew what to expect because I had read reviews, seen pictures- but very cool to see in person. Done well- It could be believable, actually eating in space. Service was excellent. Ordered deviled eggs- hubby said best bacon he has had. Salads were good. Cauliflower app was delicious. 12yr old absolutely hated the cotton candy drink with the pop rocks- I took a sip and had to agree- was over the top sweet. Our server quickly swapped it out for a lemonade when he noticed that it remained untouched. Salmon was very good, just wish I had opted for a medium well as their medium was softer than I would have thought. Desserts were choc cheesecake, pistachio something and sorbet, vanilla and strawberry gelato, carrot cake. I only liked the gelato but others raved about the desserts. Take a picture of your ticket because you don’t get to keep it! Liked the trading cards and it was fun to see the different items and people in space- that evolved frequently. I was trying to get the guys with light savers but couldn’t get it quick enough. A great memorable dinner!
Be the first to ReplyOur voyage into Space was excellent
This is a brand new restaurant in Epcot. It is part of the Space ride adventure. You check in and are led to a space chamber that “transports” your part to the restaurant. When seated you see scenes of out space all around you. There are astronauts, space ships and planets at different intervals. We had main dishes of steak and fish. The food was quite good as was the service. We had a round of drinks which were different and also quite good. This restaurant is very difficult to get reservations for and we ca. see why. It was a very relaxing and an excellent meal. The whole atmosphere is well done and enhanced by a very enthusiastic staff. Definitely do all you can and get a reservation here, it is totally a great experience
Be the first to ReplyCool theme, not worth the price
I'm vegan, and usually don't have any issues finding food at Walt Disney World. At this restaurant, my only options were lettuce with a vinaigrette for an appetizer, pasta for entree and sorbet for desert. For $79. Seems they need a real chef.
Be the first to ReplyA fantastic venue, but food was awful and Disney playing games with demand.
I can't stay silent anymore. 6 weeks before our trip, we couldnt get a reservation at Space 220, but ON THE DAY WE WERE THERE, we are able to walk up and get a reservation with no wait at all. I was so shocked and it became pretty obvious that Disney was manipulating what I can only suppose is "fake demand" or something similar. Forgive me if Im old fashioned, but when youre trying to give someone money, you should take it with a smile. Make no mistake, the actual restaurant is fantastic and the decor is stunning, butthat didnt make up for the fact that I ordered Rouladen, and they subbed me out a piece of tasteless, unseasoned chicken (with bone in) and never even gave me the option to change my mind or request my own sub menu item. For a 200.00 meal, unacceptable. Skip it. It's worth the priec of admission, but not much else. There are many other better places in Epcot.
Be the first to ReplyNot worth the price
A beautiful restaurant with an excellent service. The prices for the adults meals is ok even if I find too much expansive $80 for a vegan meal. But I could have ordered something else. But $30 for a child menu serving spaghetti or hamburger is so exagerated. We won’t return there. We ate better for a lot less in different places.
Be the first to ReplyNot worth it at all
The view is cool for a minute but pretty boring after that. My daughter and I both got the filet and it was the worse filet we’ve ever had. It was cooked to the right temp but the cut of meat was very low quality-chewy and full of gristle. The side veggies with the filet were great. The calamari was very rubbery and did not taste good. We only enjoyed the chocolate cheesecake at the end.
Be the first to ReplyFun experience, good food & great service
This place exceeded our expectations in all areas…taste & quality of the food, ambiance and execution of the space theme. The “trip” to space is very cool and that’s before you even get seated. The deviled eggs with bacon were incredible and my husband said the chicken & waffle was one of the best he’s had. The short rib sliders were good, but I guess I’m not much of a short-rib person. I probably would have preferred burger sliders. The wine list was decent and the prices overall for both food & beverages were reasonable, considering the whole experience. The lounge menu offers appetizers & small meals. The restaurant menu offers an appetizer, entree and side dish for $55. Kat was our server and she was excellent!! I drink a lot of water and she was always anticipating when I needed a refill. My only suggestion for the experience would be for the images in space to possibly be centered more in the windows. They were always so high and by the time we got our cameras ready, the astronauts or space shuttle had already floated up and out of our sight. That’s being really really picky though and that might not be something that can be helped. We would definitely visit again on a future EPCOT trip!
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience! Very difficult to get a reservation.
We're so happy that we were able to get a reservation for this restaurant. It was quite a challenge. We tried as soon as we could online (6mos in advance at 6am) - but nothing was available. So I signed up to MouseDining.com and, lo and behold, reservations came available in the last days before our trip. It was still hard to book something, even with the MouseDining membership, but eventually I was able to get a table for two at 7pm. The experience was fantastic and the food was great (not sure why people have given low ratings for the food - we thought it was pretty damn good and we've been to some pretty good restaurants). The drinks are pretty fun, too. I would definitely go here again.

We visited 02/12/2022. I had made a lounge reservation. We get seated and the waitress comes by and tells us it is a price fix menu. I replied to her, no, I made a reservation for the lounge. I showed her my reservation and told her we could be seated somewhere else. She got visibly upset and said we could order whatever and sped off. We had planned on having dinner and drinks. I decided I would rather have dinner somewhere else after that display from her. Just ordered a couple of drinks and an appetizer. The drinks were sickly sweet. I guess that is a Disney thing. We ended up leaving after 15 minutes. I know she wanted the tips from a group where the check would have been > $200. That was no reason to make us feel uncomfortable every time she came by (yes, every time she came over to us, she made sure we understood she was upset). After I paid the bill and got up to leave, I had to ask her for the cards that you are supposed to receive when you order a non-alcoholic drink. She ruined the entire experience for us. I wouldn't go back
