Superb in every way
We dined here for the first time a couple of weeks ago . The food was incredible . We had the 8oz fillet and mushrooms as a side and it was so tender and beautifully flavoured . We had the apple crumble for dessert and I can honestly say it was the best thing we ate all holiday . Truly delicious ! Our server was very knowledgable and efficient . Our table was well situated and the dining room was calm and the atmosphere was lovely for a romantic dinner . We would definitely return to enjoy this restaurant . It’s expensive but we felt we got excellent value for money as the quality is so high here .

The service was exactly what you would expect at a top notch steakhouse. Attentive, thoughtful recommendations, quick to provide updates on the timing of courses, etc. The salad was one of the best I've had. The lettuce was cool but not overly chilled. The dressing and the Parmesan was generous and delicious. I had a 10 oz filet, cooked to perfection. The crust was salty and the meat tasted of slight smokiness. Honestly, the best steak I've ever had, and I've been to a lot of steakhouses. The only thing that faltered was the creamed spinach and that's only because I've had better, not because it was bad. The finale, molten lava cake, was at least 2x the size of a similar cake at Morton's. It was better than Morton's and I enjoyed the presentation they offered by pouring a white chocolate cream into the middle, as the chocolate lava flowed slowly from the hole made on top of the cake. The music played softly in the background, enough to hear but not have to shout over or ask your companion to repeat themselves. This was a top 5 meal for me.

Our server/ bartender Bash provided such excellent service tonight. Everything we had was fantastic. The dry aged ribeye, the grilled asparagus and the mashed potatoes were literally perfection. Bash made our drinks so fast, I didn't even see him make them and the drinks were so well balanced. He made wonderful recommendations for us. I have 0 complaints. Can't wait to come back and try more. 10/10 recommend!!

Went for dinner tonight and we had excellent service.
We had a group of about 20 medical professionals in a private dinning room. It was a bit small but the servers did a great job during the drug rep presentation. The food was great and location as well.
Not up to expectations
Disappointed with this experience. We went a few years ago and it was great. We were sat in a very undesirable spot by the entrance that looked like an after thought with zero ambiance. We made reservations a few months in advance. The waiter rushed us and didn’t really seem to care. The prices are out of control. If you’re going to charge that much for a tiny steak it better be perfect. They were dry and had no flavour. We get medium rare and they were rare (actually a little blue with a cold Center). Just left you feeling underwhelming and ripped off.

Traveling for a work meeting n decided to stop in since at the hotel. Sat in the bar for quicker seating. Kept it simple with a wedge and ribeye. Both were excellent, the ribeye cooked exactly as ordered and seasoned beautifully. One word if caution, beware of the bread n butter they bring to the table-you may get addicted, lol. It was delicious. Overall a great evening and recommend giving this place a try.
What else is there to say about Shula's at the Walt Disney
What else is there to say about Shula's at the Walt Disney Dolphin Resort that hasn't already been said? It's service? Top shelf from start to finish. We were seated in a back corner booth beneath photos and plaques of Miami Dolphins greats and inspirational quotes from Coach Shula (obviously a treat for me, a lifelong Dolphins fan) and delivered attentive service by three different staff members who made sure our wine and water glasses stayed full and our needs were met. Ambiance? Soft light, crowd noise well controlled by the tall ceilings and opulent furnishings, and the aforementioned Dolphins-dominated decor, all sourced from the franchise's glory years in the 1970s. Dark wood panels, pristine white table cloths -- it's the definition of elegance. Food? Well, my 16 oz Prime NY Strip was seasoned and cooked to perfection, as usual. Mel's filet was even better. The dining here never disappoints. It was only our second experience at Shula's -- it's pricey and we can't afford to do it very often -- but it will not be the last!

Foods taste so delicious and nicely done. Staff waitress so nice and friendly, definitely well served. Cost were pricey but not bad. It taste so good though and definitely will enjoyed.

Bread was great, Fresh fish (mahi) was cooked perfectly with a great taste. Steak tasted great, one of the best I've had. To cap it off, the key lime pie was very nice, more limey flavor, which is my style. Overall great food with incredible service and a nice ambiance.

We received a gift certificate for this fine dining experience and finally gave it a whirl. Upon an early arrival we checked in and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated we were greeted by our server and introduced to the other members of the staff that would be taking care of us. We ordered two glasses of Schramsburg Blanc de Blanc (one of our all time favorite domestic sparkling wines). To accompany the wine we ordered Tuna Tartar which consisted of fresh Ahi Tuna, cut right off of the loin, Red Chili oil, Sesame Vinaigrette, Avocado Cream and Crispy Wontons for a vehicle to put the tuna onto. This appetizer was amazing, packed with flavor and a perfect app for our wine. For our main entree we split the 24 oz Black Angus Porterhouse. My wife had the Filet side, I had the Strip side. Unfortunately there was a vain that ran right through the strip side and neither of us felt like the steak was properly seasoned. For sides we ordered the Fresh Asparagus Spears grilled with Meyer Lemon and the Crispy Potato Wedges, served with Bravas Sauce, and Fresh Herbs. The sides were delicious. We drank the Caymus Grand Durif Petite Sirah with the steak. This is an amazing wine! The wine list here is superb! For dessert we had the Chocolate Souffle. If you order this dessert plan on it taking 30 minutes to prepare since it is scratch made. It was just okay. Our service was good but at times we felt rushed and at other times like we were being ignored. We gave a three star rating due to the steak not being up to par and was suppose to be the star of the show.

We've been meaning to go here forever and finally made a reservation. Very classy place, not crazy pricing as Disney restaurants go unless you pick a $3000 wine bottle or the Waygu beef ounce price. We were seated, immediately poured waters, and then left alone to look over the drink menu. LOTS of wines by the bottle. A good amount of wines by the glass and of course a full bar. My wife had a blueberry martini and loved it. The waitress brought us a hand written recipe for the drink that she got from the bartender!! We ordered a crab cake appetizer and bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp covered with BBQ sauce. Both were amazing and quite filling. We both got the 10 oz filet and we ordered the family size sides (Garlic mashed and haricot verts - green beans, that had a lemony butter with toasted almonds). The table is set with 8 unique steak knives in a fancy holder which you pick from when your protein arrives. The waitress pulled out a flash light and asked us to cut into the steaks to make sure it was to our liking, which it was, just perfect. They had 3 desserts that night, all of which are fresh made and require 20+ minutes to create. They asked us at the beginning of the night to think about ordering one, but the filets being 10 oz just filled us up. Glad we didn't order any, but they sounded great. They validated our parking, so parking at the Dolphin hotel was free. We went well dressed....dress and suit coat, and definitely saw a lot of Disney vacationers in shorts and tee shirts which kind of dragged down the ambiance, but it is what it is and the food and service was outstanding! We will be back again and again.
Spectacular food and service!!
This is such a great spot, with amazing service!! I came upon this place at a conference and our bartender Bash was absolutely AMAZING!!!! He was everything you could ever want in a bartender!! He was absolutely what made the experience above and beyond, because the food was amazing, but he made the experience so much more than just the quality of of the food because of his humor, and attentiveness! We even came back the next night for the Key Lime pie and a night cap because he was so great!!

What an exceptional experience as always. The food is simple fantastic, but what separates this restaurant apart is the staff. From the Ladies at the desk, to Joe the Manager, to the caring and thorough wait staff. From start to finish a truly A+ experience. Thank you all for making me feel like family each and every visit. *Special shout out to Nick, Giuseppe, Jersey Joe, Jerry and Tyler.

After trying out Todd English's at the Dolphin recently this year, we came back to try Shula's with some friends to round out the restaurants in this resort. Firstly, I want to stress that we had a very nice time! The service was wonderful and our server was attentive and kind. The restaurant was clean and nicer for the Disney bubble, and the cocktails were excellent. We also didn't have an issue with any of our food - the bread service was SO fresh and warm and was honestly the star of the show. We had the bacon-wrapped shrimp as an appetizer, and we liked them. Our steaks were cooked to our request. I just didn't walk away feeling like the food we ate was worth the signature dining prices. Our steaks were good, but not the best I've had on property (and I've had better for lower prices!), and the sauces that came at an additional charge were really the only flavoring to the meat. The sides were nice and more of a family-style, but again, did not seem fully worth these premium prices. Dessert was a nice chocolate soufflé. When I dine at a signature restaurant, I'm hoping to have my socks knocked off! We had a really nice evening here overall, but will likely stick to our other favorite signature restaurants or better value options when we're on Disney property.
A disappointing loud evening!
My husband and I took our daughter and son in law here for what we thought was going to be a nice relaxing dinner. They live in NC and we live an hour from Orlando so we were looking forward to having g a nice evening. The evening started off enjoyable as our wait staff was very good and attentive. But soon after we were seated and had ordered our drinks and food a large party of 16-18 men (different ages) were seated next to us. From that point on we could hardly hear ourselves talk. This really ruined our evening. We were seated in the back room which isn't too large so the table of men took up half the room. We received our food, which was good but the prime rib a bit overcooked. We finished eating and didn't even order coffee or dessert. My husband had the manager come over and told him how unhappy we were. The manager kept saying what can I do for you. Well, as my husband told him, you are the manager so figure it out. He did nothing! We paid our bill, over $500 and left. Shame on this restaurant putting others in this loud room. One young couple even got up and left! We should have. So before you go, ask to be seated in a quiet area away from large loud groups. A big disappointment!
Had an amazing dinner last night here.
The filet was cooked perfectly. The sides were tasty and delicious. And deserts were great. Especially the key lime pie although the crust could be a little thicker and the lava cake was fabulous. We had nice wine except for the pouring. I was a little shock to see the waiter pouring a white wine in a red wine glass (with a white wine glass sitting next to it) same with red wine being poured into a slender white wine glass (with a red sitting next to it.

Reservations are a must. If you don't have a reservation, you can maybe get a table in the bar lobby. The food was definitely worth the price. There was high-quality service from the weight staff. The restaurant is based off of Coach Shula, however, there isn't much reference outside of the name and the walkway that we found.

Really disappointing! for a Steakhouse that charges the prices they charge they need to do better. We were a large party with a limited menu set. This had been reserved for weeks. Reservation at 7:30. Two large tables two server's and one attendant refilling water glasses. One 1/2 table had drink orders taken and servered. Noticed we never got asked and dinner orders taken. Noticed only one server for the rest of the night. Had to ask for a drink which took until appitizers were served. We did not get appitizers served until 8:30 or later. They were nothing special. Ok bring on the salads. Should have requested salad dressing as none provided nor asked. Then lets have the Entree. 10 oz filet MRare. Was over done and luke warm, no flavor and if salt shaker was used it was missed or empty don't dare send back as we were approaching 9:30. Deserts nothing special. Now if you were drinking wine you got refills but no ask for another drink. Would not recommend this for a large party. This party of people dine together and are use to good service and good food. You missed on all counts. Very dissapponting of a total bill of $6K
My family and I have been coming to Shulas for years.
Sadly, we were very dissapointed on our visit this year. Before I say why, I first want to say that the 2 nights we did have cocktails at the bar - the bartenders and service there were impeccable. The entire bar staff was incredible, and if we had dinner there - I would be writing an entirely different review. Our main dining experience was horrible. From the moment we sat down, our server, Carol had a major attitude, as if we reminded her of her worst enemy. Her service was slow, lacking in any personality, and extremely unfriendly. Her counterpart on the service team took over at the end of our service, but the night was already a dissapointing failure.
Dining in the Orlando area is generally very good.
Service is almost always impeccable with food prepared perfectly. Unfortunately, those attributes were not to our expectation at Shula's. This restaurant located at the dolphin hotel is classy and elegant but welcoming enough for anyone coming in from a Disney park to attend with their family. The hostess was welcoming and we were quickly seated for our reservation. The decor was dark wood and poster sized photos of black and white football player photos. A butcher block with steak knives adorned our table as a center piece. We ordered two shrimp appetizers, three salads, three entrees and a dessert. We also got a nice red wine for the table. Ordering went seamlessly. We were provided delicious fresh baked bread and began our dinner. Then we were served our salads. When we asked about the shrimp appetizer- it has been forgotten. Our waiter left the tray of salads sitting next to us and went to go get the shrimp. We served ourselves the salads while we waited for the waiter to return. By the time we got the shrimp we had no room on the table. The shrimp were cold but otherwise ok. The salads were good. No issues there. The dinner entrees were not good. Out of the three dishes we ordered only one was any good. I had the salmon and it was terrible. It lacked any flavors unless dipped in the lemon butter. There was no salt of pepper put on it while it cooked. The salmon was grilled per the waiter's recommendation but the grill marks on the fish tasted very bitter like it had been over cooked. The internal flesh was ok but I could eat more than maybe half of it. It was very unappetizing. One steak I tasted was good. The other was not. It was too fatty for our friend. The waiter was kind enough to replace it for him but the second steak did not hit the mark either. The dessert was ok. We are just a. Few bites of it and then paid. The server was accommodating and very patient. The staff checked on us regularly and we never lacked drinks. Overall the food just did not hit the mark. It was very expensive. You may want to consider an alternate option.
Just a trip to Heaven; Or Chatham (UK) .. ..
Always heard such wonderful things about SHULAs and it was finally time for our fam to experience it .. .. They had no problem arranging a table for 12+toddler and our server TYLER (from Chatham) was splendid .. .. I do believe the best-ever server I've ever had .. .. Personable, hilarious Arsenal fan, who got every drink/food order exactly correct despite 12+ chatty guests! Three of us split their WEDGE SALAD and they were nice enough to split it for us and it was delicious with a light dressing from heaven and perky Blue Cheese atop .. .. The monstrous TOMAHAWK RIBEYE was perfectly cooked (medium-rare) and charred fro such a huge piece of meat! Despite three of us sharing it, there was still enough left over for three light breakfasts the following days! And, did I mention the side? CREAMED SPINACH, MASHED POTATOES & MUSHROOMS? All of them were fantastic and would have made a wonderful meal on their own .. .. ER FO Then came deserts --- APPLE CRISP, CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE & CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE .. .. Oh, dear .. .. JUST A FABULOUS DINNER AND ONE TO REMEMBER FOR A REAL LONG TIME!!
Best dining of our holiday
This was our first time dining here. Fabulous food, great service and a very nice ambience. 10oz filet mignon with scallops and salmon with asparagus with a side of mashed potatoes. We also dined at Bull & Bear (before refurb), California Grill and Steakhouse 71 and rated this our best dinner experience. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
