The steamed mussels were a great appetizer, though there was one or two bad ones that were partially full of sand. On the other hand, the calamari fritti was the best that I have had in a very long time and could be a plate all unto itself. Scoma is

We stopped here mid afternoon on a Sunday and were seated quickly (although this is still a busy spot even at this sort of time). We ordered a carafe of the reselling on tap and decided to share the mixed seafood grill and the cioppino. The food arri
Old-school cool with brilliant seafood, cocktails and service
Scoma’s is absolutely awesome. Proper old-school cool — the kind of place that just gets everything right. The food is excellent, ( I had the famous Sole) the cocktails are great, the ambience is spot on, and the service is exactly what you want
An absolute classic old school seafood restaurant on a dock
An absolute classic old school seafood restaurant on a dock with phenomenal cocktails, service, and seafood, one of the best within San Francisco pricey but ever so worth it and just a complete throwback in time
Feels like youre eating in a historic spot.
Special occasion for families, boys nite dinner, a treat for visitors - Scoma's has a "feel." Old photos of San Francisco sports greats on the walls. Service was attentive, efficient, and you can tell team work is key to making the cu
Serving the freshest seafood since 1965
Scoma's restaurant in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco has been a popular go-to destination for "the freshest seafood, from pier to plate" since 1965. Family-owned for three generations, it started with six stools
Good food nice view! When we went the weather was perfect.
No parking lot. Street parking only. Expensive street parking
Always fantastic! We have been here many times.
Love the old school service. You never ask for anything a second time. Service music food spot on!!!

Not quite sure how to describe Scomas, but it was a very good experience. It's old San Francisco on the wharf dining, with a sprinkle of Tadich style service. Everyone is friendly and plenty efficient for sure. The food is good with your typi

I lived here all my life and this is the first time I dined at Scoma's. I enjoyed the SF Restaurant Week special 2-course lunch menu. At $35, it's an excellent value for full sized plates. I chose the beet salad and the snapper entree. T
The food hear was wonderful but portions were small.
The waiter (Chris) on the other was a complete asshole, very rude and we were unable to really enjoy our lunch because of this. When we were done with our meal he comes and asks us about desert and I politely declined and his exact words were "I
Best food around
One of the best places I've eaten. Real ITALIAN. hidden gem behind fisherman wharf. Rarely have I encountered a place that surprises me. Def coming back
Fantastic service & delicious food
Carly was so kind and took excellent care of us today! I tried the fish and chips, and they were delicious and perfectly cooked. We felt quite delighted because the portions were big as well. We're definitely going to return the next time we

My friend and I came after seeing the high reviews, but we're not too amazed by the food. You first start off with sourdough bread, nicely made. It is served as cold, so it can be hard. The oysters are fresh, no fishy taste. Lazy Man'
Great food, great people, great ambiance.
Looking forward to returning, viva their Sand Dabs!
The last time I came to scoma was a five star experience
The last time I came to scoma was a five star experience this was a little lacking. The Cioppino was amazing as always. Our server was good. The Rockefeller style oysters were so overwhelmingly garlicky that they were hard to eat. It was difficult to

I will say this place has a nice view and looked amazing but that did not overcome the terrible service I received from my waiter. I saw him going to everyone else checking if they were okay and never came to me. It took forever to order an app and

We had reservations for 2 weeks.
We showed up on time early for a 4pm dinner and were seated at the waiters station with many empty tables in the main dining room. No white linen like the rest of the tables. We walked out. Not recommended. Having dinner at Cioppinos down the street
The food was good and portions are sharable.
The oyster Rockefeller are delicious. The calamari is crispy and good.
Must visit!
My boyfriend found this gem during our stay in SF in may. Such a cool restaurant with tons of history. Definitely worth a visit!
The atmosphere was super cute.
I loved our waitress so much! She was so sweet; I think her name was Han? Anyways, overall the food was really delicious except for the bread. The sourdough bread was so hard; both the ones they gave us and the ones that came with our dish. We ordere

Consistently good food served by experienced staff in a friendly and efficient manner. We had the Petrale sole Dore and Alaskan halibut, both of which were fresh and well prepared, along with a very good Caesar salad. A very enjoyable experience.

We sat outside to watch some of the air show, they allow you two hours to sit, eat and drink. I got two smallish crab cakes for $29 and the polenta for $9. The crabcakes were ok but the polenta was on the dry side, not creamy so I left most of it beh
A classic San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf location and experience with excellent food and service.
Scoma's has a great location on the water in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf area. Many of the old traditional wharf restaurants did not reopen after Covid. Scoma's is a survivor and still features wonderful food with excellent

Scoma did not disappoint!
David! Thank you so much for your exceptional service and knowledge of your trade! Food and the beer was amazing! Cheers!
Time Capsule Dining
The waitstaff was informative and attentive. The food was very good and plentiful. It was comparable to finer dining in a throwback era with the decor and pictures. It was slightly overpriced. However, worth a visit.
When the wharf was for fishermen
Great service and traditional, old school wharf Seafood. Drinks were nice, with a few homemade options. Ordered a mix grilled seafood medley and a cod fish and chips. Both were plentiful and flavorful
Lunch Break Playing Pokemon
We came to the city for a Pokemon Go event. And we had lunch here. I had the clam chowder and fish & chips—the clam chowder was delicious. I’ll come back for the chowder. Service was great. Karen went out of her way to get me restaurant stick
Superb apart from a very ill-tempered waiter
Nice place with smartly dressed staff making it feel upmarket. Nice views. Great cocktails. A nice menu, obviously very seafood based. The food was good. Wines by the glass weee good. Expensive. I would give full marks but waiter, although efficient
Good food
I had the salmon with zucchini crisps and vegetables. The vegetables were crispy. The salmon was way to rare for me. My wife had a nice flounder sandwich.
Another Great Meal at Scoma's
Been to Scoma's many times while visiting San Francisco. It is consistently great! Last night we had the clams and sole. Both were outstanding. Our waitress Han Min made the meal and experience all that much better! Fot those have never been che
