I had a great time at Samurai! The hibachi was expertly prepared, with classic entertainment and jokes. Overall I'd say the tone and vibe were pretty welcoming. The pre-entree salad was fantastic, especially the dressing. I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi combo with rice and noodles and loved it. While their "yum yum sauce" wasn't quite what I expected, not really yum yum sauce at all honestly, it was still tasty. The drinks were excellent too! Service was good, though a bit rushed; we received our checks right after the food was served, which felt hurried. I'd prefer a bit more time before getting the bill. Overall, it was a positive experience with good food and service.

I ordered lobster hibachi and it was over cooked (it was the last thing the cook took off the griddle) and SO FISHY! My husband eats everything and even he would eat it. The rest was too salty and inedible. Won't return.

I randomly called and asked if Apple Pay was accepted at this restaurant and was told yes but that they stop seating at 9:15pm. I was only 8 minutes away and arrived at 9:10pm and was not honored a seat at the table. The right thing to do is sit paying customers when they arrive on time. I was taking my Mom to lunch for a special occasion and she chose Samurai. We walked in at 1:45pm and asked if we could be seated for hibachi and the hostess said yes. she walked us into the hibachi room, past the only table (which had 3 empty seats) with customers and a Chef. The rest of the place was empty, literally, no one else was there. She sat us to the side of the table and my Mom asked if we could take two of the 4 spots that were in the middle so she could see the Chef's presentation better. The hostess very curtly said no. I looked around the empty room and said why not. she said if other people come in they will need those seats. I said there are still 6 empty chairs to choose from at this table alone, I don't understand and I can't believe we can't shift over two seats. She was nasty and informed me that's not how Hibachi works. We ordered waters and she walked away. we hadn't had anytime to look over the menu at all when the waitress comes up, doesn't introduce herself or say hello, but baldly says, who had the lime and proceeds to set both glasses of water on the table. As I was passing the glass of water to my Mom, she impatiently said, do you know what you want yet? I said No, we haven't been here before and haven't had time to look over the menu. She turns around and starts to walk away before she gets out an I'll come back. My Mom and I just looked at one another. The experience was so bad we decided we weren't going to stay and give them our business. we got up to leave and there were 3 workers hanging in the lobby and I shared with them that we were not going to stay because their lack of hospitality had been very off putting. I've worked in the industry. It isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination, but if you can't be gracious and courteous to your customers who want to give you their money, you don't need to be in business. At minimum, read the empty room.

food is good! But the customer service is extremely lacking! It's Friday night I'm calling at 9:15 to make an order to pick up and the lady was rude as hell and then hung up on me. Such shitty customer service and I don't understand how a Japanese steakhouse is closing at 9:30 PM on a Friday night. But it's fun calling before 930 like it advertises closes at 9:30 then why was I spoken to so rudely?! Unbelievable.

Solid take-out spot with hibatchi options! We have never dined-in here, so cannot speak to speed of service. But, takeout is always fast and the food is good for a quick bite!

Service was average - pleasant enough but nothing to write home about.We opted for hibachi in our group of 8, about half were kids.The hibachi show was uneventful. The hostess seemed confused when we told her how many in our party.The food was bland - all the adults said the same thing.If you're vegan or vegetarian, find another option as there are only 2 options and you have to watch out for non-veg sauces. Even the free / included soup was non-veg.They automatically included a tip of 18%.

I was skeptical because of previous reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised. The steak was cooked perfectly and the amount of food was well worth the money. I would definitely go back. I'm not giving this a 5 star due to the atmosphere. Could use some improvement.

It was so bad i wanted to give 0 but that's not possible so i have u a 1 . girllaaaaa the service was sooo bad here. when me and my homegirls pulled up it was already a 2 day wait but then they wanna tease us talm bout sum ur up next for 2 hours, got there at 7 and ate at 9:30, bffr. why they was out of noodles and they didn't even give us extra rice. we had constantly talk to the person in charge and they were not doing nothing!!! brylee b girl u was testing my last nerve, charging us the wrong stuff and then cutting my homegirls off when they was complaining about u to ur superior. girl count yo mf dayssssss. then talm bout sum gratuity, GIRLLLLLL FA WHAT! cuz what am i paying for.

Waitress took our orders soup and salad came out all good like normal. Then a different waitress brought out our food and got a nasty attitude when we said the Lobster was missing. Our original waitress brought out the lobster and we told her how the other waitress acted. Then she went over to the drink dispenser room and run her mouth about how we told her the other waitress acted. Needless to say the tip reflected running your mouth about me when all we did was say that the lobster was missing. DONT RUN YOUR MOUTH about the customer when we were polite the whole time.

Forget trying to call in an order they won't bother taking you off hold if they pick up the phone at all. So when we couldn't call in we decided to try and eat their. Ordered 5 different sushi rolls and when they bring them to the table they don't know which is which and they forgot to bring us one of the rolls. When we asked about it they waiter said we got it already and told him to count the rolls on the table and he just couldn't figure it out. Told the manager about it (who is also the sushi chef) and he said "what do you want me to do about it". Maybe you could not charge us for food you didn't serve? Also their sweet tea looked like dirty dish water with a sprinkle of sugar. Food is decent but good luck with the service.
