I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the setup of the restaurant. The vibe and service were very nice! I would definitely go back just for the setting! The food was decent. I ordered the breakfast tacos with a side of breakfast potatoes. I tried their French toast and it was absolutely delicious! The strawberry mimosa was good as well! If I am ever back in the area, I would visit again!
Be the first to ReplyService is terrible.
Painfully slow. 26$ for a mediocre fried chicken sandwich. Fries are pretty good but it took 30 minutes to get it on a slow Monday at 1:00. Restaurant was about 25% full. Won't come back.

Having gone for the matzo ball soup, the fact that they were out of it, was very disappointing. In fact, they were out of half the things on the menu! Since they are open daily until 9:00 pm, couldn't they have made more soup? The matzo ball soup is epic; instead two of my table mates ordered tomato soup. Each got only about 1/2 cup of soup in a large bowl, which looked pretty pathetic. Whoever is managing this place is not doing a good job. By now, they should know how much food to order and how often to have deliveries to accommodate their crowds. I had a Greek salad, which was very good and very large. The expresso martinis are good here. They put chocolate shavings on top. The service is always attentive. After the poor experience I had, I will call before going in the future to make sure they actually have food.

The salmon with cream cheese and capers on a fresh bagel was sublime. For anyone looking for a Gluten-Free bagel, Sadelle's is the place for you.
Be the first to ReplyLovely place for a Sunday family brunch.
A little loud but overall it really was nice.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a perfect Easter brunch spot! Thanks to other Yelp
What a perfect Easter brunch spot! Thanks to other Yelp reviews, I had heard the house salmon was more than enough to split- and they were correct. French fries were crispy and salty. The bagels were fluffy and delicious. Sadelle's gave an atmosphere of UES brunch without the flight. The service was friendly and prompt, which for brunch, is really the goal. I was so excited to see some frozen drink options besides rose and the John Daly did not disappoint. As always, Highland Park gives great people watching and this just added to the brunch enjoyment.

Be the first to ReplyWent in the middle of the week so it wasn't too busy.
The inside is very nice and the service was good, but the food was mediocre. It still tasted good but we ordered bagels which is something you can find at any other breakfast place. I think you'd mostly come here for the ambiance and to chat over some coffee. Ordered the bagel towel thing which only comes with 1 bagel, so we ordered 1 extra bagel on the side but the toppings were enough for 2 of us. I also got a side of scrambled eggs which was good as well. I would definitely come for a special occasion, just maybe not for a normal breakfast.

Wonderful service and AMAZING food! Drip coffee 5/5 Leo Omelette 5/5 (buttery texture and strong dill flavor) Sesame bagel w scallion cream cheese 4/5 (not very fluffy) Breakfast potatoes 3/5 (nothing special) French toast 4.5/5 (almost a custard consistency inside) Definitely worth the experience!!

Such a cute elegant place with decadent food and great service! We took my daughter here for a birthday brunch and it was perfect!
Be the first to ReplyOh so charming is this restaurant.
Comfortable I am here in my dress up casuals. Attentive service received on multiple lunch, brunch, and, takeout visits. Beautifully presented, a pretty penny, and quite tasty are their salads, soups, and, egg dishes. Consistently fabulous and what I truly come back for over and over again is their Smoked Scottish Salmon Everything Bagel. CHEERS!

A beautiful restaurant we've always enjoyed it so much in Las Vegas at the Bellagio... However the food was mediocre at best and the service was slow and manager was nowhere to be seen and check on us. Would not recommend a mushroom barley soup very very boring...

this was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten in my whole entire life and I will not stop thinking about it. I usually don't write yelp reviews but I want everyone to try this delicious masterpiece. I subbed the toast for a bagel and I think it was the best decision I've ever made in my life
Be the first to ReplyEasy spot for a weekday breakfast.
There was no wait, but the host just started at us when we first arrived, then asked if we had a reservation for the restaurant that was 5% occupied. The decor was beautiful. Blues and greens with playful dishes and cups made this a memorable and photographable experience. The breakfast options were limited, especially with a couple items unavailable when we dined. But the omelet was tasty, bagels were good, and the chive cream cheese was delicious. The breads seem to be where this place shines with fluffy bagels, toast, and pancakes. Saddles seems to put a lot of focus on plating and aesthetic, which you would expect at this price point. I went for ambiance and will probably go back for lunch or dinner service with a wider variety of hearty options.
Be the first to ReplyI really enjoyed the decor and lighting of this restaurant.
It has super high ceilings and a lot of windows and natural light. The bright decor contrasts the typical dark wood of many other restaurants in the area.I came here for lunch and we both had the Cobb salad which was very large, very tasty and very filling. Service was attentive and our glasses were always full. The only complaint I have is that this it is pricey for what you get. Aside from that, it's a great place to eat on a nice sunny day.
Be the first to ReplyWe went for brunch on Saturday, February 4.
We booked a table through Resy about 30 minutes prior to eating. We arrived about 5 minutes early and were seated. The service was suboptimal but not memorably bad. They appeared to be understaffed, and the waitstaff seemed consequently rushed. The food was good, but not memorably good. You're paying for the experience of being in a hip, beautiful place on one of the best pieces of real estate in town. This would be a 3-star experience except for the ridiculous sequence of events that followed. I received a notification on 2/5/23 that I would be charged $100 ($50/person) for failing to fulfill my reservation. The charge was posted to my credit card. I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, but I discovered that Major Food Group (the New York-based company that runs Sadelle's, Carbone, and other restaurants) has an unusual business practice by which they provide no ability for customers to speak with anyone in the restaurant or with the parent company. There is NO PHONE NUMBER that leads to a person; all phone numbers for all American restaurants lead to a useless recording that provides email addresses for concerns such as reservations (by email?!), events, HR, and prep inquiries. I did not try calling the international locations.I then took time out of my Sunday afternoon to return to Sadelle's, speak with a manager, confirm that I attended the restaurant (thereby fulfilling my contractual obligation regarding the reservation), and was given a handshake and an "I'm sorry." I received an email from an MFG representative that evening stating that I should expect the funds back in my account in 3-7 days. A temporary credit WAS issued, but it dropped off my account without actually posting. I called my credit card company to investigate, and they said that it had been withdrawn. They initiated a dispute on the matter on 2/15/23. I responded to the initial email I received from the MFG representative, and she responded, "I hope this finds you well. We've heard back from Resy regarding your refund and they have finally resolved it on their end. They did not conclude why it was not processed when we requested it, only that it is done now. They processed the refund two days ago and they said then it should be reflected on your statement within 3-5 business days. I've attached the receipt for your refund here."***That refund was never processed, nor did any temporary or permanent credit post to my account from them.***I received notice today that my credit card company issued a permanent $100 credit as a result of their investigation. The point of this review is to highlight the absolutely abysmal customer service provided by Sadelle's. At high end restaurants, customer service is typically outstanding. If there is any issue, it is usually resolved immediately with some sort of compensation. In this case, I was offered a handshake by the manager and a couple of worthless apologies. In this case, I have spent about three hours dealing with this. My three hours is much more valuable than the $100; this is about the principle of the matter. I've let all of my friends know what kind of service they can expect from this restaurant group. And now I'm letting you, the Yelp community, know.If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having to book a reservation here, I strongly recommend you verify with your own eyes that they've marked your party as "present" in the reservation system.
Be the first to ReplyThe ambiance is great.
The service is horrible. Our food was ok but it was not a great experience overall.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place.
We loved the menu and the food was super tasty. Nice portions...not too big or too small. Good service as well. We ordered two cosmos and they were perfect.
Be the first to ReplySecond trip to Sadelle's as I was hoping they got better
Second trip to Sadelle's as I was hoping they got better over the months. It's noisy as heck, can't hear the person across the table from you. It still takes 25 minutes to get coffee, all the while the wait staff keeps trying to take your food order. If I didn't insist on waiting for coffee before ordering, we would have received food first. This place is highly over rated and prices are absurd. Plus, there's no parking. Skip this place, there are too many GOOD restaurants in Dallas.

Sadelle's is Outstanding! The menu has something for everyone! Kevona service is sensational!!! We met Karen a manager and Karen goes above and beyond to make sure all of our dining experience was perfect! The Sadelle's tower add tuna fish ย is OVER the top!!!!!! Be the first to ReplyEnjoyed our first visit this past weekend and the great
Enjoyed our first visit this past weekend and the great service! Seems so hard to get in but the hype is real high being opened just a few weeks and flooding social media. We enjoyed the sides of pickles and fries along with matcha martinis to start. Something different for drinks but yummy and not too sweet. ย Their oysters were fresh and delicious too! Our server was very attentive and we especially enjoyed meeting their General Manager, Julia! She's so sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. She even connected us to our favorite server that worked at Carbone in NYC who now works in Dallas at the new Carbone Dallas! She was a highlight of our night and a real gem. Made our experience special!I really enjoyed the branzino which was fresh and a large amount. Could have been a tad more hot temperature-wise but good. For dessert we really enjoyed the babka bread with a serving of ice cream. It was delicious and reminded me of a NYC delicatessen. We do want to go back and try it for brunch but some of the prices do look insane for the type of food. Overall I'm so happy for a new concept in Dallas as it can be so "meat and potatoes" but I hope the market embraces it. It seems the hype can be so real for new restaurants that are just okay or sub par. The decor is beautiful but was a bit surprised it seemed so empty with diners especially at prime time over the weekend. I think they might be keeping the amount of patrons low to get the restaurant established and provide good service ย or it can be they might be low on servers and staff. Not sure but a full restaurant always adds psychology to make people want to go and try harder to get in! Either way I give Sardelle's a solid 4. We really enjoyed the food, experience, service and novelty but also weren't absolutely wowed to rate a 5.
Be the first to ReplyHad high to medium hopes for this place.
Didn't believe the bad reviews but unfortunately they are on par with my experience. Food was not great or even good. Charged 8$ for tap water that they claimed was special water. Charged 8$ for 2 slices of avocado (not joking). I know there is always an up charge for sides but 4 dollars a slice is a little exorbitant for my 18 dollar sandwich. Going forward they should be more transparent with their up charges. Menu prices has changed as well and when asked the difference they simply say "don't look at the menu prices, they aren't right" and that's that. I was hoping with these prices it would be at least tasteful, it was not.
Be the first to ReplyOrdered a coffee and a bagel with lox from the to go cafe
Ordered a coffee and a bagel with lox from the to go cafe and it was $26. The bagel was mediocre at best and the lox was non-existent. Not worth the money and probably won't be going ever again.

Came here with two friends and had the best brunch today! The service was great - servers were knowledgeable and helpful, always attentive to our table. They hostess even squeezed us into a table since we didn't have a reservation. (Next time I will make sure I have a reservation because they book up and wouldn't risk it again.) What we ordered to share: 2 portions of the smoked Scottish tower, French toast, and side of pickles. The salmon was pricey but OH SO GOOD! Worth every penny. **Warning - the bagels are small so they aren't great for splitting like we initially thought, need one per person. The French toast tasted like a yummy funnel cake, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the pickle side came with pickled green beans (our favorite), green tomatoes, and different varieties of your typical pickle. The ambience is super cute as well. All in all, we will definitely be back to try more things because everything was delicious!
