My friends and I finally got a chance to spend time in Las Vegas together, and this is where we decided to have our big dinner. With the name Ruth's Chris, you have high expectations...and they delivered on every account!!! First off, I have to tip my hat to our server Matthew - he was an absolute professional who made great suggestions, took care of every need and insured that we had a wonderful experience. I had the 11 oz Fillet which was to die for. The other gentlemen at my table enjoyed the ribeye or the petite fillet and they were all very happy with their choices. While all of the sides are delicious, I highly recommend the creamed spinach and the mushrooms - they were a game changer! And if you like dirty martinis with colossal olives stuffed with blue cheese, or perfectly-crafted Manhattans, they have you covered. Bon appétit!

Our server was Hunter. He was friendly, knowledgeable and turned a good experience into a Great experience. Always had steaks there, but changed up and had the Chilean Sea Bass. Incredible.

New Mgmt is a joke! I guess thats Vegas and their greed again. They don't want you sharing certain plates even if you add an entree! I've been a Diamond Plus cardholder for years. Never had any problems until this new Mgmt. Prices naturally go up but don't tell me what I can do with my food and who I can share it with. I'm spending upwards of $200 and I can't share with my lady?? Thats crazy. I would be fine to left overs but there are no microwaves and rarely refrigerators in the rooms in Vegas. Anyhow; I'm one patronizing your establishment! thanks for ruining Mothers Day! Since you can do that so easily; tell Mgmt they can get the middle finger! No; they can get both of them!!!!

I have read a few reviews downgrading Ruth's Chris Steak House service as substandard. However, that was not our experience, we were impressed with both the great food and service. Mike and the entire service staff were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Granted it is pricey, but one expects that walking into Ruth's Chris Steak House. Parking at Harrah's is a challenge for first-timers, but navigable. It seems that Ruth's Chris Steak House outclasses the Harrah's Casino surroundings, but it is where it is. Thanks to Mike and the entire staff at Ruth's Chris Steak House. We enjoyed the Soup of the day (corn chowder), Rib Eye, Salmon, Brussels Sprouts, and the Beringer Cab.

I went there May 2nd with my family and since we have been to the Marina Del Rey location and the one in Woodland Hills we didn't hesitate to go. To our surprise the waiter and servers were so rude. We asked for refills on drinks for my kids and they were acting like it was a bother for them. To finish things off our waitress came to grab the glass and spilled my water on my steak that they had just brought. She fished it out dripping water and said to me why did you knock the water over. I just looked at her and said are you serious? She then said no worries she would put the $100 steak back into the pan. I could not believe what she was saying I quickly said no and she goes why you don't want it ? I was like did you not spill water on my steak and asking if I don't want it of course not give me another steak. I just couldn't beleive the nerve lesson learned never again will I step foot in this place very disappointed.

I have been to numerous Ruth Chris locations across the country and I always have experienced great service and a delicious meal. However, I must call out Ruth Chris in Las Vegas in Harrahs as going way above and beyond my expectations. The service was beyond outstanding from everyone we dealt with but a special shout out to our waiter Hunter. He made this one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. If you find yourself in Ruth Chris Las Vegas you must insist on being served by Hunter. Thanks to the entire staff and management for making my anniversary dinner magnificent!!!

We had a reservation but were seated about 15 minutes after our reservation time. It was not very crowded as it was a Tuesday night. Service was great and our waiter (I believe Matt) and his assistant were excellent. Checked up on us regularly and my soda was always refilled without asking. I went with the 3-course meal for $115. Seafood gumbo to start was very good. Good rue and a lot of flavor. Others at my table got the Caesar salad and it looked average at best. I selected the 11 oz filet which came with a "personal sized" side. Not sure if you can see it in my picture, but I got creamed spinach and it was probably enough for 3 people as a side. If you are with multiple people doing the 3-course, I suggest you each get a different side and share. My steak was slightly undercooked. I know it's difficult to get a piece of meat that thick to have a consistent pink throughout without overcooking, but they're supposed to be the experts. Was expecting an expert cook on the meat at $100 a piece. I will add that the meat was melt in your mouth tender. Even the parts I felt were undercooked did not need much chew. I could taste the dry age throughout the meat, so I know it was a prime cut. Seasoning was very light and I did add a bit of salt, but I'm a salt freak so it's expected. The cheesecake is your only option for dessert. It was decent. Felt a little dry to me, but others at my table really liked it. Nothing special about the chocolate side either. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. I think it's way overpriced, but that's to be expected at a chain like Ruth's Chris.
Be the first to ReplyI have been hearing about Ruth's Chris steak house for
I have been hearing about Ruth's Chris steak house for decades but never got around to going. Now trust me I'm a steak kinda guy. When my wife and I travel I make sure to schedule a steak dinner since it will be chicken and fish when I get home. I had heart surgery a while ago and my wife takes care of my diet at home. God bless her. BUT when we are out I go for it. The Ruth's Chris in Fresno is on the fringes of a nice mall there. We were promptly seated and I ordered a classic Old Fashion. Not available at home. My wife had a glass of red wine. I usually skip appetizers cause I feel it takes up space that could be taken up by steak. I had the New York strip and my wife had the Petit Filet. Medium Rare of course. Anyone that has well done steaks should be kicked out of the country immediately. That aside the steaks were perfect. Tender, flavorful juicy I also had some mashed potatoes on the side. Of course I had what my wife left of her filet mignon. Maybe that's why I had the previously mentioned heart attack. A great meal good drinks super attentive wait staff. Ruth's Chris I should have come by a long time ago. Definitely recommended.

Had to wait an hour for a table despite the restaurant not being busy. Paid $25 per person for a strip view. The view consisted of the front entrance to the forum shops across the street. The food was good. The service was adequate but not great. We ordered a dessert of lava cake and chocolate mousse. They substituted vanilla ice cream for the chocolate mousse. Okay at Dennys but not at an upscale restaurant for $150 per person. My friend went to the restroom while I paid the bill. A strange man sat down at the table and proceeded to strike up a conversation. I paid my bill and left. My friend and I were both very disappointed with Ruth Chris Steakhouse. We will never go there again nor recommend it to anyone.
Be the first to ReplyMy husband & I ate there one night.
We sat at the bar. The service was excellent. We shared the ribeye for two. It melted in your mouth. It was delicious. The caesar salad was fantastic & the drinks were great.
Be the first to ReplyRuth's Chris is my wife's favorite restaurant by far.
We've been over 100 times across 10 different locations spanning from Hawaii to Atlanta & this Las Vegas location is BY FAR the best one. It's the biggest location out of all the rest, very spacious and the food is absolutely incredible. I'm not sure why but the food here always tastes so much better at this specific location. We always sit at the bar and Ron takes such good care of us. He gets our order in quickly or allows us to really take our time, and will change the TV channel to something I want to watch! Overall, if you're looking for the best food + service, Las Vegas Ruth's Chris is the place to be!
Be the first to ReplyThe atmosphere and overall ambience was delightful.
The service was top notch. We made a reservation for a table at the window with a view of the strip. The food was amazing. We had the crab and corn bisque, filet, and sweet potato casserole. Will definitely return to this place next time we are in town.

Be the first to ReplyRuth's Chris Steak House unexpectedly WOWED me! My sisters
Ruth's Chris Steak House unexpectedly WOWED me! My sisters made a reservation here to celebrate my birthday - this was my first time eating at this restaurant. I never really had an interest in eating here (I don't eat red meat), but I think this experience forever changed my mind. [Ambiance] We sat next to a window that provided a beautiful view of LV Blvd. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and perfectly designed for an elegant dining experience. We ordered a lot of food! Here's what I enjoyed: * Complimentary bread - served with freshly whipped butter. Excellent! * Seared ahi - the sauce was amazing. * Stuffed mushrooms - I love mushrooms and this dish was really tasty. You gotta try it. * Chilean Sea Bass - Ah-mazingggg! The panko garlic crust added a nice crunchy texture. The fish was perfectly cooked and the spinach with lemon butter was delicious. * Cauliflower Au Gratin - a slightly lighter version of the potato side dish; it's really good. * Potato Au Gratin- this signature side dish was my favorite. It was rich, creamy, and indulgent. * Sweet Potato Casserole - another signature side dish and it was absolutely superb. * Chocolate Lava Cake with Chocolate mousse - decadent and delicious! * Creme Brûlée - this was good, but I only had a small bite because I was stuffed at this point. [Service] Ernest and Mala were attentive and provided top-notch service. They made us feel like VIPs. The restaurant manager, Christine, also made us feel welcomed when she visited our table and thanked us for coming in. Shout out to the bartender, AJ, who recommended our delicious wine, it was excellent. It was clear that this place is well-managed, and everyone enjoys working there - rare, but certainly a treat to see. 5-stars! :)
Be the first to ReplyThe absolute BEST steak you'll ever have! We've visited
The absolute BEST steak you'll ever have! We've visited several Ruth Chris' steakhouses in many states and the food has always been consistently delicious. The lobster mac n' cheese is divine and the garlic crusted sea bass is the most delicious piece of fish you'll ever have. Hands down our absolute favorite restaurant EVER!!!!!

My husband and i love Ruth's Chris, we're originally from Dallas TX, so of course we had to try it here in Vegas! The food was AMAZING, service was 10/10. Our server was beyond funny and nice! Yes, the prices are a little higher than we've seen at the Dallas location, but it's the Vegas strip. We expected it, and that's okay because it was well worth it!! We enjoy the food and our night!

A friend and I made a last minute reservation for dinner at 8:30pm, arrived at the restaurant at 8:15pm, and were surprisingly seated at exactly 8:30pm even with a full house of customers. This is the largest Ruth Chris I've seen and probably with the best decor and dimly lit ambiance. Hostess and wait staff were quick, courteous, and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat appetizer, lamb chops and filet mignon steak topped with shrimp entrees, broccoli, au gratin potatoes, and asparagus spears side dishes. Luckily we were seated at a window table view with a nice view of the strip. I came here for great food and service and received both. A quick shout out to our waiter Hunter for exceptional service and fun personality. I cannot wait to return for more soon!

Be the first to ReplyEven though Ruth Chris is a chain, we have had many people
Even though Ruth Chris is a chain, we have had many people recommend this is an option for a special occasion. We choose this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the experience was a let down and definitely not worth the money spent. When arriving and making a reservation they make it very clear this is a level of dress code. I not expecting anything crazy especially for a vacation location but I was disappointed when people were getting seated in full sweatsuits and tee shirts, obviously doesn't really make or break the dinner but just dampened the experience. The food was also very/below average, my partner enjoyed a steak and I had the scallops, my entree was ok to say the least. The sides we choose were the mashed/puréed potatoes and the broccoli, broccoli ended up being an up charge and still wasn't even better than a steamed bag that you can make at home. I normally can overlook these things because it could be off night for the restaurant but just really disappointing when the bill ended up being over $300 for one of the most lackluster meals of our trip. The server and sever assistant we had were great and provided excellent service. I feel like this could be a location issue, because like I said previously I had a lot of people enjoy and recommend Ruth Chris to us.
Be the first to ReplyI've been to many Ruth's Chris' and this one is really one
I've been to many Ruth's Chris' and this one is really one of the best. First of all, it's dining and bar area is sublime, especially at sundown. The view of the strip and Caesars is delightful. The staff are well informed, very engaging, and are delightfully committed to making sure the meal is enjoyed. I got the $99 prix fix that included gumbo, an 8 ounce filet, a side and dessert. The gumbo was just off the chain good, shocking as I'm from New Orleans. The steak was ordered medium rare Pittsburgh style and it was done perfect. A nice sear and plenty of pink and a steak that was so tender. I got a trilogy of sauces just to taste with the steak. The mashed potatoes were great and did their job soaking up every bit of butter I could get. The bread putting with two sauces, yum! Ruth's Coffee finished the meal and it was all pure bliss.

Be the first to ReplyI hadn't been to a RC for a long long time.
The last couple frankly I just wasn't that impressed but I really can't say exactly why. I was prepared to be underwhelmed but I have to say the exact opposite occurred. Our seating was great! View fantastic and our server So Yon was just as pleasant and nice as they come! She made our visit a joy. The steaks were the highlight of course and are the RC way but in this case that was a very good thing. The sides we all shared (4) of us and I think we got four sides and it worked out perfectly! This visit reminded me why I used to love RC. Thanks So Yon!
Be the first to ReplyIf I'm going to drop 350 bucks for two people for dinner,
If I'm going to drop 350 bucks for two people for dinner, It should at least be better than I can make myself, someone with very average culinary skills, on my barbecue at home. I expected the ribeye to be epic, and frankly it was not even average. Overcooked, not marbled, not crusted even with salt and pepper, no detectable seasoning. What it did have was a very bland butter reduction which just made it a big greasy, tough mess. Seriously, how is this place considered even close to elite? They claim their meat is top 2%, but I can walk into just about any store and hand pick a better ribeye for under 20 bucks. I'm not a food snob, and I'm not being dramatic here. It really was that mediocre. Service was fine. The mashed potatoes were great. I had to edit because I forgot this little gem. We ordered the crab cakes. I really enjoy a good crab cake. What we received bared no resemblance to any crab cake I've ever had. It looked like they scooped out some crab goo with an ice cream scooper. Not crusted, not browned, not pan fried at all. Literally just a gooey blob of textureless crab dough. This was supposed to be our fancy dinner in Vegas and it was a huge disappointment. When you drop that kind of money, it should be special. The reviews just don't make sense. Either we caught them on a really bad night, or most people just have never had a decent steak.
Be the first to ReplyThe meat was amazing!! Everything was sub par.
You have to request the jalapeños as there not on the menu. Our waitress was top notch and made it happen...
Be the first to ReplyThe steak was excellent.
The baked potato and Mac and cheese were mediocre. Ruth Chris is overpriced. You're better going to Herbs and Rye, Echo and Rig, or STK.
