It is truly a beautiful restaurant. Very hip very trendy and lovely setting with beautiful bar. Waiters were below average and fairly rude. You don't expect from highend resturants to have poor service. Food some choices were amazing and some below average . Overall ok! Would not return to the restaurant but would go back to the bar for a drink!
Bored and disappointed.
The performance of most of the staff was subpar and the food was, meh to pretty good, depending on what you ordered. Pay close attention to the 2, 3 and 4 star reviews. This is a Marriott hotel restaurant with excellent marketing. (This is a restaurant that is connected to The Ivens, Autograph Collection - (a Marriott brand).) NOT the 5-star experience you are hoping for… Keep in mind, that generally speaking, this restaurant is a 4 to 4.3 across the board NOT a 4.7 or 4.8 which makes a difference in where you select to dine. 4.0 on TripAdvisor 4.3 on Google 4.3 on Yelp And, to be fair to future patrons and the wait staff who did their jobs well, let me be specific with pros and cons of our experience: Pros: - seating area for drinks before your meal - some of the food was pretty good - specifically the fries, lemon meringue cake, and a perfectly cooked steak although not seasoned - enjoyed the dj, ambiance and the overall vibe - probably a wonderful place just for drinks and the bar area - some of the staff - the front person and food runners were really good Cons: - waited in the waiting area for over 90 minutes (20 minutes past our reservation time) - you’ll find this particular complaint in several reviews across TripAdvisor, Google, and Yelp) - nasty persnickety attitudes from the front desk person and our waitress - in a way well beyond what you might imagine from a typical restaurant - Lobster in my pasta was hard and tough to eat - you’ll also find this complaint in at least one other review - the fries we ordered originally never arrived, had to order again 90 minutes later. - left us with a terrible final night in Lisbon (which was otherwise an amazing time) For a truly amazing taste and excellent staff, I’d recommend checking out the following instead: - Cervejaria Ramiro - Leve Leve - Tapas Bar - A Casa do Bacalhau
It’s slipping and not listening to its loyal customers…
I’m a fan and one of their hotels first guests, but… It’s now over priced for what’s on offer. It’s not sorting the bad stuff repeatedly put to it. It’s slipping So what’s up? Ambience the best. Great service staff honestly saying what we say is real. Music great. The people watch to die for. Then the buts- 1. It’s kitchen can’t cope 2. Delivery times between courses are way too long. 56 minutes in our case and then it was cold! Third visit. Third time it’s happened. I can see a reason apart from the kitchen but they didn’t listen when pointed out 3. Aggressive up selling of booze, the old trick of over pouring to get you to buy more sucks. We were two hoteliers who’ve run such places. It’s easier to do nothing and just go elsewhere. It started well but they aren’t listening to loyal customers who keep telling them like it is to keep it going. No one takes a physical note of constructive criticism. No one ever gets back. Classic signs. If someone doesn’t listen up it will go the way these types of restaurants always go.
A pimped up Lisbon version of The Ivy
Great food and atmosphere within the restaurant. Service was a tad slow and late to check up on us. I would recommend but on the pricier side of Lisbon.
Amazing Vibes
We sat at the Gastrobar for dinner our final night in Lisbon. The service was top notch and the food / drinks were outstanding. The gastrobar has amazing vibes and decor. There’s a DJ but the music is at a perfect volume do as not to distract from the dining experience or good conversation. I only wish that the full restaurant menu be available at the bar but we had an outstanding experience!

We left feeling conned after hidden upselling..
We visited as a group of 5 and we left the establishment feeling conned and taken advantage of, in all honesty. We noticed as soon as we sat down a group of staff were discussing and looking over at us, and we wonder if the events that followed were calculated. The main issue we experienced was the upselling of products that was NOT made clear incurred an additional cost. The "do you want a toast of champagne to toast with" whilst a waiter was already holding an open bottle.... extra charge we were not made aware of. I have been to places before where this is offered complimentary but I guess this is our bad for not asking at the time.... The bread trolly that came around and we then had items placed on our table.. again we didn't ask for this and it was placed on our table and we were charged for it. Lastly.. the main issue we had was the upselling of the chosen vodka in our cocktails. Not at one point did the staff let us know what whatever we chose was going to be additional charge, and the fact he CHOSE FOR US one of the most expensive vodkas to go into the drink, that we were again charged for. We got this bill and were completely shocked at the amount of upselling that had happened without knowledge. By this point, we felt we couldn't say anything as everything had been consumed and your staff felt intimidating to raise any issues to. Nevertheless, the food and ambience was amazing during our dinner. The lady who took our payment also was lovely, she took the time to explain the bill (to which we didn't feel comfortable arguing against all of the hidden extra costs we had been charged as I mentioned) but we did feel like we didn't want to pay the service charge, and explain that the main reason was because the waiter dropped sauce down one of the girls white dress. This lady couldn't do enough for us and we're thankful she took the steps to try and rectify the issue. If it wasn't for her at the end, we really would have felt the whole experience was ruined. We're really disappointed and I won't be recommending anyone to visit this restaurant based on what I have mentioned above. Its a real shame we left the place feeling conned and quite frankly, we spent way more than we budgeted for, for a really awful experience.
Fantastic atmospheric place . good food
Really enjoyed our dinner at Rocco . Great food . Great service . My steak was divine and cooked to perfection . Not cheap .. but absolutely lovely . The bathrooms are a must !! Velvet floral pillars !! and Slim Aarons in the lobby . Incredible

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Rocco Lisboa at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Rocco Lisboa page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at Rocco Lisboa to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Rocco Lisboa!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
