Beautiful setting, very good cuisine!
The setting is stunning as you are perched over the water cliff side! There are a few fixed price menus as well as a la carte. We opted for the a la carte. We started with the seared octopus with ponzu sauce. We also had a tagliolini pasta with raw scampi and black truffle. The pasta dish was fantastic and actually was the top dish of the evening! For mains we had the veal au gratin and the beef which were strips. Both were very good although the beef was a tad tough. I suggest staying with pasta or risotto courses for your main entrees. Service was very good. Excellent wine list! Definitely one of the top spots in the town of Sorrento. Better better places require a private car or taxi and the cost was ridiculous so we dined in town each night.

The Lorelei Restaurant, kingdom of the gastronomic creativity of the young chef Ciro Sicignano who boasts his first Michelin star, reflects the dynamism of the sea both for its position on the rocky ridge that juts out over the port of Sorrento, but, in particular for the Mediterranean geography of the taste expressed in culinary proposals marked by remarkable technique and careful selection of the raw materials darting in the star chef's creations... Lorelei is the name of a Nordic undine from the Rhine river, a dynamic marine creature, a Mediterranean mermaid who attracts from the rock and seduces sailors... with the amuse hole the palate is delighted by the "song" of flavors from Campania offered in four small plates to be enjoyed in sequence: mini panzarotto filled with ricotta cream and provolone from Monaco, a mini panuozzo from Gragnano which surprises you with a lunette of mortadella similar to salami only by sight, but in reality it is a fish filling (tuna, bonito and amberjack) with patches of white fat obtained from cuttlefish cream, then mini tacos with amberjack tartare and a fresella button of tuna mousse, explosions, splashes of sea pushed by wasabi and lemon emulsions... the Ondina Lerelei then transforms into an entree of bluefin tuna sashimi presented like a female braid and the sparkling creativity of Sicignano reaches the pastures of Northern Italy with an appetizer of red pezzata tartare where you discover a smartie with olive oil, a yellow crystal pearl that cleanses and prepares the palate for new waves of taste with the delicacy of raw meat wrapped in courgettes and enhanced by acidity of the limoncello gel and grated yolk... breaks in navigation for the sailor diner attracted by Lorelei's seduction are the loaves, served hot, with sourdough with spelled flour and linseed, millet and sunflower seeds, the breadsticks and crackers, a real edible logo of the Lorelei Restaurant to be enjoyed with Normandy butter or with a taste of oil of your choice of the highest level... that of the Cilento, bitter and then soft in its taste expansions. The creamy butter from Normandy is the creaming together with the parmesan, two tagliolini of durum wheat with black truffle and raw scampi, a vortex of taste and then arriving at the signature dish of the chef Sicignano: larded amberjack with crunchy hazelnut breading spread on a small layer of hazelnut mayonnaise and wrapped in a cherry foam and gel, evocative of Lorelei who deceives the sailors from her rock... the enchanting deception of little Wave continues its dynamism of flavors with a passion fruit pre-dessert and triumphs with the coffee cake with strawberry and basil sorbet and a dark chocolate mousse Sao Thome with rhubarb gelee, liquorice ganache and Karkade sorbet, two polychrome ceramics in sight... petite four lemon tartlet, a mini black cherry delight and a truffle with dessert wines recommended by the competence of the sommelier, the courtesy and by the impeccable management of the dining room staff directed at every stage by the Restaurant Manager-maitre Sascha Fausto and by the Assistant Restaurant Manager Francesco Sorino who are attentive to hospitality. If I could give this restaurant 10 Stars I would. The food was amazing! This is the best meal we've had in years. Not only was it tasty but also beautiful to look at. The ambience is incredible as it sits on the water and you can view a beautiful sunset. The service was impeccable and the staff was also very friendly and helpful describing the entrees. We just did the 4 course option but there was a lot of extra things provided. The dessert course had 3 unbelievable parts to it.

Ideal for a romantic and unforgettable dinner. We chose the Lorelei proposal trying some wonderful complex but at the same time simple fish dishes. Nice environment and excellent but at the same time familiar service. At the end of the dinner they complied with my request to listen to Caruso by Lucio Dalla and I was moved. An evening I will remember for a long time...

I had a great experience here with my fiancée, we were welcomed as soon as we entered and were very satisfied after using their services. My wife asked to come back next month as soon as our wedding ceremony was completed. I want to make a reservation in advance and get the best seat.

Food, service, location. We stayed in the hotel for two nights and did did not leave for 24 hours. Sunset was spectacular. Dinner was delicious. We even had breakfast on the ocean side patio. Service was outstanding. Would come back just to stay here again!

A truly unforgettable evening of Italian fine dining - fresh seafood, vegetables, pasta, bread - all done to perfection. You get a choice of olive oil with your tasting menu - something I’ve never seen before! The service was incredibly attentive, and we got a special presentation for the bottle of wine that we have picked. The only downside was having to sit inside (as we went in December!) and not enjoy the majestic view!

We had dinner at Lorelei and it was really, really delicious and great, one of the best experiences. Modern take on classic ingredients, great dishes of fresh fish and seafood. An excellent selection of luxury wines, was topped off with unbeatable desserts. We got an amis bush or some other accompaniment with every course, truly incredible. Very professional and friendly atmosphere where we were very satisfied. Abbiamo cenato da Lorelei ed è stato davvero, davvero delizioso e ottimo, una delle migliori esperienze. Una rivisitazione moderna degli ingredienti classici, ottimi piatti di pesce fresco e frutti di mare. Un'eccellente selezione di vini di lusso, il tutto condito da dessert imbattibili. Abbiamo ricevuto un amis bush o qualche altro accompagnamento con ogni portata, davvero incredibile. Un'atmosfera molto professionale e amichevole in cui siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti.

We did a la carte rather than tasting and they still spoiled us with various amuse bouche and recommended a great bottle of wine. The pace of dinner was unrushed and the staff was very attentive.

We had a stunning dining experience here to celebrate an anniversary. Overlooking the bay of Naples on a warm evening was the perfect setting for what turned out to be a very memorable culinary journey. Dietary requirements were handled with ease by the talented kitchen staff and the front of house team were friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. If we return to Sorrento, we’ll be booking months in advance to ensure we don’t miss the chance to eat here again. Keep up the great work!

In all sincerity, this is one of the greatest meal experiences my wife and I have ever had. And we’re “foodies”. We ordered the “Chef’s Freestyle” tasting menu with wine pairing and were blown away by the experience. Sascha delivered each course and pairing with enthusiasm and detail. Everything was perfect. Best part? Kids successfully ordered room service so mom and dad could have this wonderful experience. Again, this wasn’t a meal. It was an experience. Worth every penny.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Ristorante Lorelei. The service is impeccable with warm, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. The coordination between the kitchen and the dining room is a choreographed dance honed after years of working together – invisible to the diners (unless you were focused on it), and a joy to experience. The food is a culinary adventure – showcasing fresh seafood, and local flavors melded to complement and accentuate. Creative and delicious. If you can, sit in one of two tables closest to the glass-fronted kitchen to watch the magic happen – both amongst the chefs, and between the serving staff and the kitchen. Our Christmas Eve dinner was an experience to remember. And a destination for a future return visit to Sorrento. We highly recommend you include this gem in your next visit to this luxury hotel, seaside in Sorrento.

It was our first Michelin star restaurant experience, and it was a fantastic one. The service was unmatched, the waiters and waitresses were friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered the 8 tasting meal, and the chef tailored it to our requests. Truly a one of a kind experience. Also a shout out to Sasha and Francesco our host and waiter!

Ristorante Lorelei is beautifully located in Sorrento with a breathtaking view of Vesuvius, Ischia, Proceda and Naples. A top review goes to the entire staff who made us feel so welcome, so thoughfully looked after and who really tried and succeeded to meet all of our expectations. The food was beautiful, both visually and to eat, a treat for both your eyes and mouth. My partner took the tasting meny and I had the a la carte. The bread that you receive at the beginning was truly the best bread ever and I almost wish I could have had the whole thing for dinner. The starter with artichoke was a dream come true for all artichoke lovers. I also had the risotto and it was perfection. I cannot recommend this place enough, don’t miss it if you are in Sorrento.
