RIME | Seafood + Steak Park City Reviews from The Last Year
Avoid
Truly awful! Some of the older reviewers may have enjoyed this place but our dinner was a disaster. Only two cocktails on the menu - same as the brasserie next door. Slow service. Bizarre waiter. Advertised as steak and seafood. He refused to allow a specific steak temperature; insisted on medium to avoid the inconvenience of a re-do accompanied by a big lecture. Out of salmon so the only seafood was scallops or halibut. I asked for the halibut with the salmon preparation which resulted in another lecture about how the kitchen is not set up for that. He literally said a side dish was “required” for steaks. There were only three: corn, veggie medley, and potatoes. No baked potato, Mac n cheese or the usual accompaniments. My halibut was advertised as a complete dish but came with a few bland peas and artichoke pieces. Utterly flavorless and so overcooked the flesh was split open and required a knife to cut. Waiter disregarded the complaints. Even the salad was unappetizing - room temp lettuce, negligible dressing, Parmesan and random pistachios. No bread service. Astronomical prices. We left feeling violated. I tried calling a manager but they don’t answer the phone.
Birthday dinner gone bad
Wanted a nice dinner for my boyfriend’s birthday. Host was great, water guys kept our waters filled. Our server was not. We ordered a starter that took 35mins to come out. We noticed the table that sat next to us about 30 mins after received their food before us. After we ordered we never saw our server for over an hour until we asked another server to check on our food. We then were acknowledged by the host (still not our server) and then our food came out maybe 5 mins later so we can only assume it was sitting under heat lamps, especially because my boyfriend’s steak was not at all medium and was more medium well at that point. Sure our server comped the steak when I stated the disappointment, but zero acknowledgement that it took over an hour for our food and that a clear mistake had been made and she forgot about us. With that quality of restaurant it was a very disappointing service experience. We were told a manager would come speak to us and that never hqppened. Cant say we’ll be back or that we’ll ever give this as recommendation.

We went here for Easter brunch and were terribly disappointed by the quality of the food. Everything was dry, except for the soup (which was watery instead of a creamy lobster bisque). The dishes were still wet from the dishwasher and the service was very average. All food was also cold. Not at all what we would expect from a brunch that was $145 per person. A really bad look for the St. Regis brand! I normally wouldn't even mention this if the food weren't so bad, but the porcelain for the creamer was chipped and the curtain was hanging off the track.
Ready for (P)RIME Time
RIME boasts a bona fide superstar in Larry, their new chef de cuisine. When I inquired about the origin of the A5 Wagyu on the menu, Larry promptly presented the certificate of authenticity and enthusiastically discussed yield grade, marbling grade, and region-specific details. His eagerness to delve into the minutiae and the personal attention he provided thereafter were extraordinarily hospitable and kind. Larry also treated my guests, who joined me for later meals, with very attentive and engaging dining experiences. In addition to Larry, RIME features a very knowledgeable and affable sommelier named Mitchell. He was a delight to converse with about wine, vineyard visits, fermentation, production, and overall industry experiences. Mitchell generously gave of his time and provided great wine advice as well. When I returned to my suite at the hotel the following evening, I found that Mitchell had sent up a bottle of the very champagne we'd discussed the night before (Sir Winston's favorite). Both Larry and Mitchell belong to the top echelon of their respective fields. It was a true pleasure exchanging ideas with both of them. Their presence, along with an intriguing menu, ensures that I will dine at RIME again.
Great breakfast in St. Regis
We are here every morning when we stayed at the ST. Regis. The homemade sourdough bread was my favorite . Justin is the best waiter there. Pancakes are also great.

No. Don't. Shrinkflation That elk Milanese ? They took one cherry tomato and cut it up in quarters and spread it around. That was my garnish ! Not kidding The elk itself ? No. Way overcooked which hid the fact there was 3-4 ounces. Don't We have known this since it was J&G grill. Clearly they are trying to self operate this and failing I have no idea where the other reviews are coming from

i had my birthday dinner at rime and they provided a top
i had my birthday dinner at rime and they provided a top tier customer service experience!! the chef came out and chatted with us and after joking around about wanting to see the kitchen actually allowed me to make my own birthday dessert and comped all desserts for the table. it was an amazing experience and i cant recommend it more!

Over the years we have had graduation dinners, birthdays, and Christmas at the St. Regis. My family has unanimously decided that the St. Regis has the best French onion soup we have tried. The meat and cheese board are a great appetizer. The truffle pizza is a must. The Caesar salad and other dishes on the menu are great as well. My go to at the RIME has for a long time been the Black Truffle Pizza & the French Onion soup. The service is alway great. They have a special hot chocolate that is ONLY available in the winter so I highly recommend making sure to try that! The views are spectacular! The breakfast is also great. My mom loves breakfast here for her birthday. A great reliable restaurant that does not disappoint.
I came here with my family for breakfast and dinner as it's
I came here with my family for breakfast and dinner as it's the main restaurant in St. Regis where I'm staying. The breakfast was pretty solid overall. They had a pretty generic buffet as well as a large breakfast menu. Our food tasted good and came out decently quickly. However, dinner was very different. The service at dinner was not great. They were understaffed and waiters were all frantically running around, which was much more chaotic than the peaceful breakfast. They brought us our mac n' cheese before our steaks, and our caesar salad after our steaks. However, our waiter was very kind, and even gave us some caramels. Despite the bad service, my food was excellent. My filet was cooked well, and the sides were all really good. However, I ordered a side of herb butter for $6, and it was a tiny puck of butter with green bits in it. I would recommend this place, but in my experience, dinner is a little chaotic.
The location in the St.
Regis is very nice. The service attendants were wonderful. The sommelier was unaware that he had The George wine in the vault, which is nothing short of a crime. He knew nothing about them and blamed them being there on his predecessors choice. This vineyard only makes small batches and restaurants clamor to get their hands on them. We told him we'd happily take them off his hands. Our anniversary dinner was marred by an overcooked filet that was dry and cooked solid when it was supposed to be medium rare. Their sides selections are boring and uninspiring. They ran out of mashed potatoes, while I only saw 5-6 tables the entire time we were there from 7pm to 9pm. Someone needs to talk to the Chef. For the St. Regis to allow this to continue as it is would be very unfortunate.

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
