I would come here for the ambiance alone but the food, while simple, was fantastic! Best fried chicken sandwich and Swedish pancakes I've ever had, honestly. If I lived closer I'd be there weekly for sure.

Food, service & ambiance were all incredible! I've dined at RH Rooftop & RH Guest House in NYC multiple times. RH Yountville maintained the same high standards as RH in NYC. Appetizers were fantastic. First time I had the RH Burger - it was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Sitting outdoors on the Washington Street side was absolutely stunning. Would definitely go back the next time I am in Yountville!

The food service in ambience of this restaurant are impeccable! Been there multiple times this was my first time going for brunch and it was amazing! All of their dishes are delicious and who doesn't wanna sit among the trees with chandeliers hanging above you!!??
5 stars for ambiance.
The restaurant is beautiful and service was great. We had a large group, and they were able to accommodate us all. The dishes I got to try were the fusilli pasta (which was really good! The pesto was amazing) and grilled shrimp/vegetable salad (which was good but not 5 stars, seemed fresh but taste was nothing to write home about). I'm not sure the food is worth the price, but the vibes may be.

Never knew they didn't have a full bar. The ambiance is always great here. Make sure you stop by here when you have a chance.

We had a wonderful dinner experience for our Anniversary at RH Yountville. Rodrigo helped us with our evening and was incredible. He was very attentive, kind, and provided great suggestions for our evening. I had the branzino and i have to say, it was the best branzino i ever had. The Mrs. had a Rib eye and it was excellent as well. Rodrigo suggested the Classic Blinis with Caviar and it was similarly great. Went very well with our Champagne. Once again, wonderful dinner and service for a wonderful evening. Thanks so much for making our Anniversary a memorable one.
RH Yountville is a beautiful restaurant.
I've been to RH Rooftop restaurant in Palo Alto as well as SF. Outdoors the vibe was pleasant as we sat adjacent to the street. It's perfect for a girls' brunch or date night. We got the lobster sliders, burrata salad, and the steak. The nonalcoholic sparkling wine was nice. I recommend sitting indoors to be able to enjoy the ambience of the chandeliers and decor. Service was friendly and we were seated promptly.

Every RH location is always stunning, but I rarely find myself dreaming about the food. The people, vibe, and presentation make it worth a visit, but the food itself isn't something I rave about.
Come for the ambiance and stay to enjoy the meal
My hotel, the Napa Valley Lodge, listed this restaurant on their website. It was an excellent suggestion. I loved the ambiance indoors with the trees, water fountain, and crystal chandeliers. There were lots of choices on the menu. The food was very good. The server was friendly and helpful.
Yummy salads in a beautiful location
I’ve eaten here many times and love the ambience. Try the gem salad and add bacon. It only costs $6 and really elevates the salad. I usually have the grilled shrimp signature salad as it’s quite filling. I have had it be a bit salty, so I always mention to watch the salt and that usually takes care of it.
A much needed gem!
We’d been Michelin star hopping and very disappointed- and we’re so happy to find this place! Andrew (McCauley Caulkin) was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, kind. Here with 5 girlfriends for Galentines- and this was by far the highlight of our food trip!

The meal was an absolute delight! The salmon was divine – perfectly cooked, with a tender, flaky texture and a beautifully seasoned crust that brought out its natural flavor. The prime rib was also excellent, and cooked to perfection, pairing wonderfully with the creamy mashed potatoes and asparagus. Every element of the dish was well-prepared, complementing each other harmoniously.
Gorgeous decoration, delicious food!
We absolutely loved this restaurant. Decoration is amazing, elegant; the service is great and attentive. We loved everything we ate, delicious food. Plan ahead for reservations, it is very busy specially in Sept when we travelled (peak season). I highly recommend the visit.
RH beautiful restaurant and great food
This restaurant is just beautiful! The service and staff are friendly and engaging. Our waiter was aware of food allergy protocol and made it a wonderful experience. The crispy artichoke was delicious and so was the charred ribeye.
FABULOUS Experience!
Amazing experience, great food, drinks, ambience and the service was top notch. Angel, our server, was fabulous, sharing mouthwatering descriptions of the various recommended menu items. He also shared the fascinating story of the original RH cafe and background of the decor. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meal. The rest of the staff were also very attentive and wittily responded to our replay of scenes from a familiar comedy. Best overall restaurant experience we’ve ever had!
The ambience is better than the food and very pricey for what you get.
Ok if you want to go see one of the prettiest restaurants than go here. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! But the menu on the other hand was not what I expected. Not a huge selection and honestly couldn’t find anything on the menu where I wanted to try different things. And it’s expensive for what you get but assuming you’re paying for the ambience and not the food.
Wonderful evening
Outstanding service, excellent food, great ambience. We had no reservation however reception welcomed us and were happy to find us a table and also discuss the design and history of the restaurant. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed our food selections.

RH--good concept and atmosphere, pairing good designs and food. However execution of the both can be difficult as in the Yountville California location. I have been to the Nashville location for lunch and it was consistent--same menu all the time....in every location. I would least expect it to be the same menu and atmosphere in the wine country of Napa. It was and not only did the food fall down, but the service was even worse...except maybe the wine list. Both did nothing to celebrate the wine and cuisine of the Napa region. We could have tolerated the lack of great local wines on the list if the service was attentive. And it was not. RH has no place in Yountville.
The plate I've ordered was very good and light.
If you're not all that hungry but still want to enjoy a meal, I would recommend the lobster roll. I would 100% have again. The burger was okay, some areas were salty than others, but it was very filling. We've had avocado added into it, but I felt like they added a little too much to my liking. The service was great and they were very attended. We always had water available which is very important for me because in some places they never come back to refill the drink but in this case, our cups were never empty. We were very hydrated. The place itself was very lovely. The fountains, the trees, the chandeliers and the color scheme all complimented each other. The environment felt nice. The seating was great too. Overall, this place was amazing, I would highly recommend and I too will be coming back in the future. Keep in mind, they do reservations.

We didn't want to drive into the city so I chose this location to celebrate my birthday with family. Service is great and the food was worth sharing. Show room next door and wine cellar across the way. Nothing amazing to rave about and come back to, but it's a cute dinner location. You can walk around the area to kill time with small boutiques.

RH restaurants are always so dreamy and inviting and RH Yountville did not disappoint. The food was flavorful, the RH Bellini was perfect and our waiter was very attentive. A beautiful restaurant on a beautiful Napa day!

We ordered Burrata bread, wild mushrooms, truffle fries, fusilli pasta, crispy fried artichoke. The service was 10 on 10 and amazing food :)

Trying hard to be trendy, the atmosphere succeeds and the service cannot be faulted. The food however. Fried artichokes had woody leaves that had to be spit out. The Caesar salad was largely without flavor. The great offender was the Lobster Roll. The flesh was dry, mealy tough and flavorless all at the same time. Left without ordering an entrée.

Amazing spot for a great Lunch or dinner celebrating my brothers 40th Birthday party. The place has real tree trunk with fake leaves and lights added with see through celings make it beautiful.Rh burger with truffle fries,mango sorbet and Lobster roll was all delicious.Waiter Karla was sweet too
We had a reservation for a party of 4 on a Sunday evening.
The establishment is absolutely gorgeous with chandeliers hanging throughout and a large fountain in the center. We were seated in the enclosed patio. Although it was a brisk evening, it was totally warm and comfortable due to all of their heaters. Our server Angel was FANTASTIC!! Truly elevated our entire experience. One of our friends is gluten free and he did an excellent job giving us all of the options. We brought an initial bottle of wine and started off with the fried artichokes (lightweight and pairs well with the aioli sauce) and shrimp cocktail (also a favorite). We also had the gem salad before dinner. It was zesty and creamy and the feta, avocados and radishes just completely elevated it. One of my top salads for sure. For my entree I went with the salmon, which was cooked to perfection and the creamy mashed potatoes just melt in your mouth and you can taste the melted butter herbs. They ended up bringing a delicious sea salt homemade cookie to celebrate my birthday and round up our lovely evening.

Magical evening with great food and service
Enjoyed a lovely evening at RH Yountville during our stay in Napa for wine tasting. Great service and great food from beginning to end. Such a lovely setting too we felt like we were in a fairy land garden.

The ambience is quite nice, leading one to immediately expect an upscale dining experience -- however, for the ambience and decore, the menu is quite lacking (farmed salmon - really). The quality of the food is quite good however. We would dine here again, but it would not be my first choice.
Superb Dining
Fantastic Ambience of course, incredible service, and outstanding food. My husband and I had the pleasure of being served by Veronica and she was superb at her job. She allowed us to move tables for a better view and made us feel ok to do that. She was thorough at explaining the menu and and recommending wine accompaniments with our food. My husband and I shared the Artisanal Prosciutto appetizer which has the most amazing bread! Followed by the Butter Lettuce salad which is so light and simple yet I could eat an entire dish to myself! Lastly the shaved ribeye and the Dover sole. The shaved ribeye is like a fancy French dip super comforting and the Dover sole if you feel like a splurge is like melted butter in your mouth. I highly recommend walking the grounds after your meal and enjoying the outdoor experience as well! Thank you Veronica you made our dinner very special!
They do not respect reservations
Very bad organization, they do not respect reservations even though they make them in advance, so they only lengthen your wait and if you had any other plan you would lose it

RH Yountville located in Yountville, California is contemporary modern American cuisine within artsy interconnecting indoor and outdoor pavilions. Here you have a perfect integration of food, wine, art and design. The jaw dropping mature olive trees, intermingled with modern chandeliers, trickling fountains and mood lighting provides for what can only be described as a spectacular space where sensational cuisine, wine and exceptional customer service come together. RH Yountville is definitely a must visit when in the Napa

The decor is beautiful, the food all excellent quality and super fresh. We loved it so much we went back twice. Would 100% return if we are in the area.

Had an amazing dinner here! The ambience and service was over the top. The cheese plate was amazing. Would highly recommend! For how busy the restaurant was I was very impressed with the service level!
Sipping in style
We visited RH during our girls trip to Napa for Sunday brunch! The space was artfully designed and decorated and paired with an easy but luxurious menu! It set the tone for a beautiful day of winery visits and tastings.

The ambiance is great service amazing and food mediocre. I guess that's not what we are paying for. At $38 for a half a chicken I'd expect it to be cooked fresh. It's my go to pretty much anywhere and usually an establishment will let you know that the dish takes a while to be prepared. Our server asked if we wanted our salad and buratta first and I said as it's ready. The chicken was out about 5 minutes after the salad which took less then 5 minutes so a total of less then ten for half a chicken. It wasn't freshly roasted. It wasn't very hot when it was served. Highly disappointing. Be warned. Don't expect anything beyond average for the food.
Just had another amazing lunch at RH Yountville.
Our server, Riah, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He brought us at least 10 prompt refills and told us about some places to visit in St. Helena. He also brought us a delicious chocolate chip cookie at the end. Cannot wait to go back. Ps... the avocado toast was to die for.

I could say either the menu is super classic or a bit boring, take your pick. The execution of the food was great, service was great. The dishes were nicely done, but lacked any creativity. The steak was nicely done but didn't come with any sides. The ambiance will be more memorable than the meal. I was perplexed why people were so dressed up yet the food didn't seem elevated for any reason. If you like pricey standard American fare like shrimp cocktail, truffle fries, while surrounded by trees, chandeliers and the sound of water, this is the right place for you.

We enjoyed the burrata, fried artichokes, delicious lobster roll and topped it off with a cortado. We were disappointed to learn they only served beer and wine however they had an extensive wine list to choose from.

Food was mid. Sick ambience, great buratta.. but like how do you mess up buratta? so ... i don't know go here for the atmosphere and to get scammed (13$ to add shrimp to your 25$ pasta?) mid. mid. mid. food came out fast, nice waiter, but disappointing
THE VAULT: AVOID IT
This review is for the Vault, not the restaurant. The vault should be just a wine bar. They called it “tasting” but whoever serves, sommelier or not it’s absolutely useless. After paying 400 if feels like a real rip off. No description of the wines, no conversation about their origin. All other tasting room we visited were absolutely different from this like 100 % opposite. This was our third time here but it will be the last. Do they realize what they are trying to sell? The place use to be friendlier and more personal. Next time just pick a good winery around but don’t come here. Yes, the environment is beautiful, particularly the patio, but no worth the price. Again, just make it a wine bar. And as I see comments, the restaurant is no better.

* PerceptiveWash44 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to PerceptiveWash44 for any questions Peter may have as PerceptiveWash44 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* PerceptiveWash44 now uses their connections at RH Yountville Restaurant to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If PerceptiveWash44 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, PerceptiveWash44 receives the $200 reward which is credited to PerceptiveWash44's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
