Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.

Would you mind explaining is the reservation under the initial partys name? I know polo bar makes you show an ID at the door

The reservation will be in the sellers name, but you can pay a fee to have a concierge change it in to your name

I tried doing the concierge service to have them change it under my name, but they were unable to contact the restaurant to change it. Tough with no host who answers the phone at a place like 4 Charles, most of the work happens online. But luckily they didn’t make me show an ID. At polo bar that would be tricky. Hopefully they’d be able to change it to another name in that case.
