Magnificent seafood and fish
We started with a very complete and well-prepared grilled seafood barbecue, in which the carabineros and crayfish stood out. The main course was a spectacular hake neck of a specimen weighing about seven kilos. The table service is very friendly and professional.

Stop the nonsense and visit O'Grelo. Always good food, spectacular, well-made and tasty. And the best, its friendly and professional staff. I recommend it, seafood, fish. Your grandmother's stews and good meat. From its owners, also mentioning Don Manuel who acts very well as maitre d', Don Joham and the rest. Eating well and leaving satisfied is a joy. It is the spice of life, come enjoy.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent site
A highly recommended place. The place is nice, quiet and with a layout where, if you wish, you can find a corner to eat in complete peace of mind. The service is excellent. Young, educated and skilled guys. The Russian salad is very good. The volandeiras, not scallops, are very good and excellently prepared. The cod tasting was a success. An extensive winery, although a little higher in price but acceptable. In short, a highly recommended place that is worth visiting.
Be the first to ReplyIn decline in service and food
After going to this restaurant regularly for years, practically since they opened, we will not be returning. We went last Wednesday to eat with my very elderly aunt. In the cocochas of the pil pil that was ordered (in addition to the fact that the pil pil was watery) he found an iron SCREW that he had to take out of his mouth and that he almost swallowed. The reaction of the staff is a real shame, explaining to us that it was from the frying pan, as if that were justifiable. Obviously it is an accident (very serious) but it leaves a lot to be desired from a place of such category, that they do not inspect or have the kitchen material in good condition and that they will charge us for the food when we could have had the greatest disappointment since it could be having choked while eating. The manager who came to talk to us justified that it was the screw of the frying pan, a frying pan that they do not have in conditions to cook when the screws have already fallen out. The category of a site also marks the ability to take care of these incidents. In addition, they put us at a table next to a kind of waiter's bar. The place doesn't have room for a table like that, but they prioritize taking out tables at any cost to bill over good service. It's a shame how this site has declined and how they only seek to bill. We will not return.
Be the first to ReplyGalician restaurant where their specialties should be taken
This restaurant, located on a street near Retiro Park, impressed me with the quality of the service. They brought us a Russian salad as an appetizer and some crusty bread. The counter with the fish was very beautiful to look at. Unfortunately we chose badly: I took the cod tasting, aesthetically beautiful but not very satisfying in terms of taste (27 euros) and the other person an arroz (rice) with fish for the overcooked Italian taste. If I returned, I would like to taste their typical specialties, starting with the Galician octopus, which I saw passing by several times that looked good.

This place is off the beaten path. Went for lunch, and the food was out of this world. Service was good, atmosphere was good.

Unbeatable raw material. Exquisite attention. Nice place. Reasonable price. Without a doubt to repeat again and again.

Went here with friends for a couples dinner on recommendation of yet another. It is a well equipped seafood restaurant. The appetizers and main courses are generally excellent and with generous portions. It is a well appointed facility with various dining areas. Friendly and efficient service. Nice selection of wines and cava’s.
Be the first to ReplyVery good restaurant and very good service in Retiro
Very good product, very good restaurant, and very good service. You can't ask for anything more. It's not cheap, but it's worth treating yourself to from time to time. All the seafood is spectacular. Very delicious oysters, and the rest of the menu is not far behind. Highly recommended

Food is excellent, service is well timed. There is a great variety of mariscos. This was my fifth time eating here while in Madrid for work. I brought friends here tonight and they loved it. They dine at some of the best restaurants in Madrid too!
Be the first to ReplyPerfect preparation on all dishes and great service!
We visited this tradition famous seafood restaurants around 5:30pm. Both owner was there to greet and help us ordered our dinner, never want you to order too much (even for tourists!).
we ordered king oyster, grilled baby scallops, 2 of famous giant carabinaros, cigolitas fritas (6), tail of Hake (what a fish fillet), half order clams and finished with lime sorbet dessert (i think with some alcohol with it, tasted like lime yogurt and can not really figure what's actually in it).
For the first time this month, I have to ask for extra bread, so I can finished all the sauce from carabinaros and cigolitas fritas dishes!
I think this is another perfect 10/10 restaurants for us, this is a must try experience!
(make sure you check all the items from the receipt or ask how much is each dishes since live/fresh seafood can be expensive sometime!)
