Great local gem!
A great local restaurant with a huge menu and tons of variety. Lots of cocktails and crafts and very good staff. Parking is hit or miss in the area but worth the walk in! Outdoor patio with heaters and the indoor area has lots of seating. Everything we have had here is great and we will be back often:)

Had breakfast on Sat the 21st November and had a wonderful time. Sat out on the patio which was well ventilated. Our server Alani was fantastic. We will definitely be back to try some of their amazing burgers
Be the first to ReplyServers not wearing masks!!!
Servers were not wearing masks. Servers taking orders and delivering food without masks -- inside and outside. Tables were not disinfected after customers left. Just be aware. Have been going to Reivers for years. No more. Disappointed that they ignore the Denver restrictions.

Good food, bottomless mimosas for Sunday Brunch. Great vibe. Always feature a few homemade specials each night...donโt miss the specials board.
Be the first to ReplyDarn good brunch
Had brunch there recently on a Sunday morning. Same sleepy place, bar at night but good food during the day and for dinner/lunch. But the food is solid for brunch. Service was nice, friendly and attentive. Four of us, all had different brunch items, all of us ate everything. Love when that happens. I had a corned beef skillet with two eggs on top. Came out piping hot and was delicious. Others had basic breakfast, and or biscuits and gravy. All looked great. A nice alternative in east Wash Park. Recommended. Easy parking too on a Sunday morning.
Be the first to ReplyAn old favorite, now disappointing
A little background--we have been going to Reiver's monthly for over 10 years. Convenient place to meet friends who live on the other side of town. Friendly, good food, good service. Reiver's has a new menu and we're disappointed enough that we're unlikely to return. The variety of BBQ sandwiches and sauces have been reduced to one. No more mashed potatoes and gravy or mac 'n cheese as sides. No more 90 Schilling on tap. Portions are smaller and, of course, prices are higher (we understand the latter). No new entrees' to make up for the deletions of our old favorites. Quality of the food is still good. Service is still good. Our waitress confirmed that there has been pushback from customers over the new menu.

Relatively quiet Sunday afternoon, so we thought weโd give it a try. Ordered drinks and a 2 appetizers. Incredibly slow service, and literally had to get up and find waitress to ask for our check. Brussels sprouts sounded good on the menu, but were slightly charred. Sliders served on huge, slightly dry rolls - just wasnโt my idea of a slider. Based on the apps we decided to go elsewhere for main course. Finally, burned my hand on scalding hot water in bathroom. Would have appreciated a warning sign (maybe on mirror).

Went for dinner while visiting relatives. Don't like sitting on tall stools to eat, but we made it work as all booths were taken. Had quite a variety to select from for a relatively small place. Our server, Jack took good care of us and was very pleasant while being so busy. We all had something different and all enjoyed the food. Burgers, salads and even the prime rib dinner were good. Fun place with lots of locals.

After a long day of touring we ended up renting some bikes and cycling through the nearby Washington Park after walking through it as well. Staff at Reiver's was super quick, very nice and thoughtful to every customer and made for a good experience. Expect typical pub fare with a chance to walk through the historic Gaylord street area afterwards (you'll see some super high home prices and a huge buzz of activity that adds to the experience).

Had a meal with the family here: Buffalo burgers, french dip and great draft beer. Life is good. Try the brussel sprouts appetizer. The place has a nice outside porch on the sidewalk, elevated just a bit so you don't feel like the passersby are too close. We'll go again.
