We had a fantastic meal with excellent service. I had the Anatolian dish of meat with damsons apricots figs and raisins in a honey and spice sauce . Soo good and something I hadn’t found in other restaurants

Hakim (small Dusan Tadic) best waiter in Old Town of Istanbul. Best restaurant and food in Sultanahmet. We are definitely looking forward to come back again.
Good food and friendly staff
Great food, very friendly staff. We end up going 3 times in or 4 day visits to Istambul. Our kids just wanted to eat there. Highly recommend to visit this restaurant
A good experience
We happened upon this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. We liked it so much we went back the next night. Hakim and his team were good fun and the food was good. They even gave us complimentary starters. We also enjoyed nice cold draught Efes -

I walked in because they didn’t pressure me to enter which I like. Staff was so friendly, attentive and didn’t hover. Complementary dessert and tea, good food. I was alone and the friendly waiter chatted with me about my travels :)

This restaurant definitely does not warrant all the positive reviews. Basic restaurant with food so underwhelming and expensive for what you get. The restaurant is cold as it’s not properly heated, the furniture and overall design is shabby and old

Great for lunch
Came here for lunch, place has a historical background. Recommended by a guide and we’re very glad to be here. You can either pick soup or seafood and all of the are the best i’ve tried in istanbul.
