Puttshack - Boston Reviews from The Last Year
Neat Twist on Mini Golf
Great experience and fun experience. Make sure you make a reservation and then be prepared for it to be busy. It was packed but moved well between holes. I would recommend doing 2 rounds of 9 holes. 9 holes only takes around 20-30 mins.
This place was a lifesaver during a sweltering Boston
This place was a lifesaver during a sweltering Boston summer. We played two rounds of mini golf--one on each course--and enjoyed drinks and appetizers in between. The venue is spacious, spotless, and staffed by some of the friendliest folks around. Play two rounds and get the second one half off while sipping and swinging your way through. The appetizers are both healthy and tasty, and the bar menu is top-notch, with plenty of draft beers and a fully stocked bar. Perfect for small gatherings or big parties, this spot is a refreshing oasis in the heat.

Gave this rating simply because the communication between the waitress and I about how to process payments separately, literally confirmed this set up or process 3 times one on the phone one with the host downstairs and with the waitress that was attending to us and still gave us one receipt then insisted on one receipt when in fact that is not what I was told . Felt bad because although it was my birthday everyone had to scrimmage to make sure they had enough . Another red flag was that she attended to my guests first. But keep in mind on someone's birthday they want to feel special and she didn't do a good job whatsoever . As far as the ambience it's cool for pics but the food wasn't great to be honest with you. So I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Went here on a work trip and even though it was crowded it was fun and we liked the setup of the course. But why is the food here so good!? I had the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado and a side salad and it was on point. I immediately learned how to make the honey mustard aioli and champagne vinaigrette when I got home. I would go here just for the food and service.
So Much Fun
Super, super fun Mini Golf place. This is my second visit, and I love this place. There are 4 courses, and they are each 9 holes. You sign up and register online. Once there, you are given a smart ball and choose your club. The ball keeps track of all you putts and scores, keeping a running tally of everyone playing with you. There are some fun and challenging holes. After each play, there are cute graphics and cheers. This is a little expensive, $18 pp. There is a chance to add a second game for a discount, and if you sign up for their rewards, they'll send you offers for discounts, like a free birthday game. This time we had lunch there, before playing. I have to say, I was impressed with their food. Initially I was assuming it would be on par with Chucky Cheese, but no, real pub like burgers, creative salads, grilled chicken...Very good and prices were comparable to a pub like place.
Had so much fun here with my friends.
There are a lot of unique and cool courses. We didnt get to try the food but we took tons of pictures and had a great time.

My partner and I came to Boston on a cruise and decided to check this place out because we love mini golf. Puttshack absolutely did not disappoint. Really easy walk from the cruise port and there was not any wait to get started every though there was a private event happening on the first floor. Bar staff was super attentive to us and the patrons around us while we were playing asking if we needed drinks. The game itself was so creative and the technology was awesome. All elements on the holes looked to be in incredible shape and we never saw any holes that were broken! The ambience was incredible. We decided to actually stick around and pay for another round because we wanted to try more holes and if the first floor was open, we probably would have played a 3rd game. The computer system places people accordingly so you're never sitting and waiting behind a group of people which allowed you to really appreciate the theming of each hole. If we ever end up back in Boston we will definitely be coming back!
Fun putt putt experience.
Similar to a "top golf" experience with bars and food available. I will say that it was a bit expensive for just one course. It goes by so fast, that I would only want to do it again if I could do all the courses for the price I paid for one. The individuals assisting us at the course were super helpful and the inside was very cool. The putting experience was unique!

Great experience! I loved this Puttshack, specially the Emerald section. Food was decent and served quick. We loved the drinks as well. The golf balls often times hang and eat up play time, the management should look after that issue. Overall, I love the vibe and recommend it.

So so fun! Took my team for a team building and it was so fun, great cocktails (though pricey) and fun environment. They need to stay open later but everything else was fabulous.

After a VERY long day at work, hubby and I decided to try this out. Let me tell you - it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The golf was super fun! We signed up for two "courses" and ended up playing 3 because we were having too much fun. This place is so interactive - the lights along the courses, along with the screens showing scores as you go, are fantastic. Great concept and even better execution!!! But let me tell you about the food and cocktails ... they were just as good as the golf - if not better. We sat at the bar in between rounds and had food. The edamame was delish - the poutine is to DIE for - and the lettuce wraps (with beef) are addicting. The staff and bartenders were incredibly helpful and wonderfully nice! I wish we had more of these - especially in my hometown - but we will definitely be back when I'm Boston!!

This place was great! Roughly a hour drive from where I live which was a tad further than expected but still went last Wednesday and my Husband and I had a ton of fun. Great pricing, awesome drinks. Our server, Lauren was great!!
Fun Way to Spend Some Time
Great fun on a rainy day. We had so much fun playing putt putt and then enjoying food and drinks at the bar. We were there early afternoon on a Thursday and it was not too crowded. It doesn’t take long to play a round, and it couldn’t be easier, with electronic tracking of each player’s ball. There are varied courses, obstacles, and fun along the way. We recommend the coat check. While you can hang your coat as you go, that was kind of a pain, so make it easy on yourself as you come in. Cider and beer were good and the bartender was friendly.
Super PuttShack fun with a bit of rudeness
Had a fantastic time recently at PuttShack in Boston. Super fun! But SOME of the staff are incredibly rude (barman & floor manager).I found it unbelievable the way they spoke to us when asking for food. The golf was great though. The group of 10 of us loved it.
Nice change for mini golf
Very unique putput experience, very pricey but I see why. The balls have batteries and they keep score for you and its all automated with bonus shots and very high tech. There are only nine holes but it was a fun thing to do with our teen boys. Probably not the environment for young children, very dark and on the backside of the bar.
Came to this tech-infused mini golf place with my friends
Came to this tech-infused mini golf place with my friends on a Saturday night. We made reservations a couple of days before so we just had to check in at the entrance. It's costs $18 for a 9 hole course and each ball is linked with your personalized game profile. They have a bar and their mini golf courses have tables to place drinks at each hole. The game lasts for about 30 min to 1hr depending on the group size and crowd. Overall we had fun and I'd definitely come back!
My wife and I decided to do this for a date day.
We're an interracial couple. Lady at the bar was either having a bad day or was racist. She served two white guys behind us when we was clearly there first. We also sat down at a table and waiters ignored us as well. if you're poc or interracial couple/family, be warned.
Back to the Future Part II was released in 1989.
When I was younger, I loved to see Robert Zemeckis's vision for what the future could look like 26 years later. Alas, we do not have a self-drying jacket, but the technology here is arguably over and above what he could have imagined. This is some of the most technologically advanced mini-golf I have ever seen! The system tracks how many times you've hit the ball, and displays it on the screen above. They also make it fun by adding hazards and bonuses which can help or hurt your score in addition to how many strokes it took to get the ball in the cup. For example: all holes have a green tunnel which gives you a hole in one plus a bonus. For hazards, one of the hole is a true or false game. If you guess incorrectly, you lose points. I love this spin to keep things interesting! The nine holes in a course are also unique and creative in their own ways, each with its specific challenge! There is one with drums, one with ducks, and one of the courses even has a skatepark-like element. However, this is related to one of my critiques. There are three courses, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald IIRC. When booking, there is no option to select your course - I went back and checked. I had the opportunity to play on two of these, and some of the holes were the same (such as true or false), and some were different (the skatepark one, for example). While I can understand the reasoning behind this, some ability to choose would be nice, for I want to try Emerald, and haven't yet. Considering the location and the experience, especially with everything that goes into it, I feel that the prices are reasonable, especially if you get the second game at 1/2 price!

Came to just dine in not knowing it was an indoor activity/arcade kinda spot! Food was yummy, vibes were great, and service was excellent! We were a fairly large group of 10+ people but they accommodated us very well.
Came here with coworkers for some midday competitive fun.
Puttshack is one of many indoor activity places that have been popping up in Seaport. There is complimentary coat check-in at the bottom, and the courses/bar are upstairs. There are courses on either side, and both are quite small. Each level in the course has a TV screen that tells you what to do, whose turn it is, and the current score. After everyone in your group goes, you move onto the next level, and another group will advance to where you were previously. So basically, the entire course is shared but you move as a group. Overall, I had fun, but you pretty much finish within 30 minutes, and it's not something that varies each time you play. However, you could always chill at the bar afterward, as there are tables in the center.
Great place for drinks, food and entertainment.
Coats are taken care at the front. I would recommend Puttschack
I was seventh-wheeling here with some friends recently.
We order one round of drinks, all beers. It takes about a half hour for them to come out. The waitress then asks, "are you ready to order food?". Like no, I need more time, and besides my buddy Tom flipped all the menus (they're card-stock bound to a wooden board with four screws (one at each corner)) and since we had so much time, he undid all the screws, flipped the menu itself, and and redid all the screws, so we're just looking at blank paper. I don't even know what's ON the menu at this point. It took at least 20 minutes to do that so I know we'll need a while to undo at least one and then pass that menu around to everyone to individually read it and decide what they want. My other buddy Max beat me at golf, would give five stars otherwise.
Puttshack is such a unique and fun experience in Boston!
Puttshack is such a unique and fun experience in Boston! Great for an event, a fun night with friends, or a date spot. The mini golf is very gamified and they track the balls and scores on a screen, which makes the golf fun and easy. The drinks are delicious as well!
The waiter at the Puttshack restaurant was incredibly rude
The waiter at the Puttshack restaurant was incredibly rude to us after we decided to go elsewhere to eat due to my daughter's food allergies. When we explained that she did not one the one item that their kitchen was willing to make for her, he rudely stared at us before walking away. On the way out he was loudly complaining about us to one of his coworkers, shaming my teenage daughter and making us very uncomfortable. So disappointing in this day and age as a peanut allergy is not a new phenomenon. We will never go back.
One of the bartenders here treated me horribly.
Not sure of his name but he had a beard and hand tattoos. When I gave him my ID, he turned it over a bunch and bent it. He quizzed me on my birthday. He then told me my ID was illegal. My ID is not illegal. I have a Michigan ID because I just moved here from Michigan. I am 24 years old and have bought drinks all over the country without an issue like this. Sorry you have never been outside the city of Boston and don't know how other IDs from other states look. He stared me down and was really rude to me. He didn't even remember my order and acted like I was bothering him after grilling me and bending my ID. I just wanted one drink to enjoy the night and he really put me in a sour mood to start mini golfing. I don't know if he gets off on verbally abusing people and wasting people's time, or if he's just an idiot. Either way he ruined my time there.
Great mini golf and bar experience
Such a great place to play mini golf and have a few drinks. There is one mini golf course on the first floor and three courses on the second floor. We grabbed cocktails at the bar, the bartender was super friendly and helpful, and then we played the emerald course on the second floor. We had the course to ourselves at 230pm on a Wednesday afternoon, which was great. Took about 20 minutes to play and the course had a very fun party game theme. Afterward, we got a table in the dining area and had an appetizer and a couple beers. Our waiter Markell was great, very friendly and talked about the different courses and which one he liked best. We will try the rudy course next time at his recommendation. The place had filled up at that point with a lot of company outings, so we were glad we golfed first when it was less crowded. It can be difficult to navigate this place the first time you come and there were a lot of areas reserved for the outings, so we were glad the staff helped us navigate through the process. I wish we had a Puttshack closer to home but we will definitely be returning sometime soon!
Fun but
Great concept and we had a lot of fun playing. Drink options were great, only issue was the slow bartenders taking multiple peoples drink orders while we waited. It slowed up the experience and the pace of the game. Bartenders weren’t the friendliest lot, weakest link in this overall fun experience.

Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Yes unfortunately they are finding more and more ways to lock up sellers money. Sell thru rate, refund rate, limiting withdrawal amounts ler day and per month (which for me are the same number which makes no sense). Lot of sellers leaving as you can see from the lifetime sales not really increasing. Most posts on here are frustrated sellers which is not a recipe for success

I’m sorry to hear about this - I’m a brand new seller on the platform and didn’t realize this was a *thing* - any chance you can point me to the fine print/documentation where this policy is stated (also identifying other caveats like this would be appreciated)?
