Good experience! Came in on a Sunday before a work
Good experience! Came in on a Sunday before a work conference and tried the octopus, and had breakfast here the next day. Service was great during dinner. Super quick! The octopus was really delicious and a nice portion. Not too big, not too small. For breakfast the next day, I ordered the soft scrambled eggs. These were awesome. The sausage was cooked really well! Overall, a nice little restaurant inside the hotel.

Our favorite date night restaurants shut down during COVID and my huband and I were on the look out for a new place. We decided to give Print a try. I almost hate to write a review for fear this wonderful place will become too popular. We went on a Monday night and the decor is beautiful and cozy. The pics on the website do not do it justice. It felt very intimate and the lighting was dim, but not too dark. When we entered, we noticed a very nice lounge space for going out for a night of drinks. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us decide on our meals. The menu is basically "farm to table" and from what I assume, changes quite often. We had Sunchoke Bisque, Striped Bass, Smoked Duck Breast and the Chocolate Souffle. We cant wait to go back! We found our new "go to" date night restaurant. For theater goers, its a bit away from Broadway, being on 11th Ave., but well worth the trek.

It is tucked away waaaay to the west (basically the pier) but it was such a nice establishment. Service was good and food was good. Please note the portions are on the smaller side. Regardless, at the end of the meal, we were given two small treats that ended the meal nicely. For this month (Feb 2023), they're doing a promotion where each person ordering an entree can get a complimentary cocktail in the hotel's rooftop after the meal. If possible, defs do take part!

There were 12 of us in a small semi private room that was a good space for a bunch of individuals who did not really know each other to relax and talk. Drinks on the roof and a welcome greeting when we came to eat. Everything was pre ordered and family style and each course was abundant. First came delicious cheese platters with accompaniments and hot Parker house rolls (right in the cast iron pan). Next course included a delicious chickory salad and plates of dressed burrata (creamy and tasty). Then we sampled the chicken (cut up whole chicken with flavorful and crispy skin), a sliced steak cooked medium to medium rare, a malfadine pasta (so very good) and probably a few more. Dessert was a platter of bite sized decadence that included a banana pudding cup, cookies, brownies, cheesecake and some gelled fruit bites. Our server Eric and his team were close by when we needed water or wine and the service was excellent. Print is in the beautiful Ink hotel, about as far west as you can go without getting wet. And Uber and Lyfts are always a couple of minutes away as they hang out on 12th Ave--an added bonus.
Be the first to ReplyHad a nice dinner for two at Print and it was such a vibe.
The waiters are very attentive (especially considering we got dreservations). We got the chicken, mashed potatoes, and the cacio e pepe dish. Tasty indeed! They had a great old fashioned!
Be the first to ReplyGood restaurant inside a trendy hotel with a rooftop bar.
The food is solid with stables such as steak, striped bass and silky mashed potatoes. Well stocked bar includes a selection of Japanese whiskey. The chocolate souffle and the toffee cake were excellent.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a very nice place with a modern cozy look.
The service was fantastic. The food...well...the portions are pretty small for the price and I wasn't knocked out. The Cassoulet was too salty and lacked any flavor of the rabbit, Squid Ink pasta was nice, but again salty and had far too little clams to even mention them. The duck breast was the highlight, mainly due to the duck fat sautรฉed turnips. We didn't feel like sticking around fro dessert, but they brought us some nice macarons and jellied blackberry that were very nice. They did have a pretty nice wine menu. Not likely to go back.

I wanted a sophisticated place with a nice atmosphere that wasn't outrageously expensive. It also needed to not be too loud, because the goal was to have lots of conversation with old friends. This place was perfect for my needs. The food was generally good, but I wasn't wild about my squid ink pasta with so little seafood in it that I could barely taste anything. Also, the tomato sauce it was in was too tangy. Others enjoyed the Parker House rolls, mussels, pork collar, and eggplant. Good sunchoke bisque. We all loved the complimentary nougat and chocolate at the end of the meal, which was totally delicious. Very good service. There's also a rooftop bar, but it was raining that night so it wasn't open, which was a shame. I recommend this highly.

I was definitely disappointed. The waiter explained the chicken dish so well that it convinced me to get it. However, the portion was much smaller than expected and the flavor was lacking. Margarita came out and it was sub par. It looked like someone had already started drinking it. It had two larger ice cubes in it. Everyone else's drinks had a significant amount of crushed ice. They should make this a bit less noticiable that they are a bit cheap with the drinks. Oysters were good but you shouldn't have fake leaves with a dish like oysters. It simplifies the dish too much. Find a new form of decor. The best part of the evening was the bread that was brought out. It was soft, warm and delicious when paired with butter. The menu is small so I did expect more especially for the price. The atmosphere is nice. We were seated at a nice big booth which was great for photos. Server was friendly. I likely wouldn't return for food nor for drinks.
Be the first to ReplyWe hosted a brunch after my daughters wedding for 25 people.
Food was terrific, they started with pastries and fruit, then when guests all arrived, they started with a daily style buffet. Bagels cut in quarters with delicious Nova, cream cheese, pickled onions and capersMushroom omelettes , delicious Mini pancakes with lemon zest and ricotta cheese and syrup. Not my thing, but people love them. Service was excellent.

This place has the best food and drinks in the city. Dino was extremely helpful.

We just wanted a quick meal after checking in the hotel and we had a surprisingly wonderful time here! Attentive and nice staff, fairly priced and spectacular food. My only complaint would be that when the server dropped off the cheese plate, he didn't take us through them one by one. But I think the quality of the spread , bread and rest of the dining experience made up for it. Wine selection/recommendation was quite good also. Squid ink pasta was absolutely delightful. Would recommend for anyone around the ink48 hotel.

A bit far from the hustle and bustle of midtown but food was delicious. Decor was on point and very laid back vibe and great ambiance. Staff was attentive. Good spot for a date or dinner with some close friends. We got a cheese plate, lamb, and fish. Drinks were also very good - a bit pricy but good. Would come back again.

Really loved the way they did the interior design of this place. Food was also delicious! Brioche bread and the pecan pie were both especially amazing!!

Unfortunately our second night eating here wasn't any better than the first. The service is just terrible, from start to finish. And the food doesn't make up for it. ย The only reason we ate here was to use our hotel credit but that was even made difficult due to their "system" being down.
Be the first to ReplyDon't believe the hype.
The food selection and quality is average to good. Their credit card system is down again, and they still don't take American Express. If I was not staying in the hotel, there would be no reason to frequent this restaurant.

Only been here a few times and each time exceeds all expectations! The menu is exquisitely curated ย with farm to table dishes and the handcrafted cocktails hit every note. The staff is very personable and attentive, always making me feel welcomed. I recommend this restaurant to anyone I know visiting the area. Can't wait to be back again!
Be the first to ReplyThe service and the food was absolutely amazing.
We went to a Michelin star restaurant the night before this one and we couldn't even compare the two because PRINT was SO much better. The service was better and so was the food. We had a wonderful experience and definitely recommend it to anyone staying near Hell's Kitchen.

Note: I'm catching up on reviews and got food from this location last week before the order was given for all restaurants to do take-out/delivery only. Came here with two others and shared the Parker House rolls which were delicious. Hot, freshly baked with a nice outer crust, these were better than your normal rolls and I would recommend the carbs ha ha. I got the sustainable catch of the day with was cod. It came with risotto. I enjoyed the fish which was prepared with lemon and the citrus helped but the richness of the risotto. My dining companions got the Grassland chicken and braised short rib. Both said their dishes were good and I got a small sample of both and they were good. It's nice to know they use locally sourced ingredients. Prices as on the higher side, but not our of the ordinary for a hotel restaurant.

Stopped in late Wednesday evening for cocktails (with a view of course) and found it to be just okay... cozy area but a bit pretentious feeling and the drinks truly seemed to be concoctions just for the hell of it rather than thoughtful mixed drinks, and for $22 I expect better than that. Won't be my go to rooftop spot for sure.
Be the first to ReplyPricey but good food.
I ended up here twice just because of the convenience that I was staying at the hotel. I ordered the ricotta gnocchi and it was delicious - however if you're a consistency person it might be a bit much. Kind of melted in your mouth like a marshmallow. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Service A+. If you're very hungry on a budget this isn't the place to go. Will definitely need appetizers. But overall good experience!
