Rarely does a place live up to its hype, but this did.
Wait was an hour on the nose. The pizzas were great, but the crust and sauce stood out. The crust had just the right amount of carbon char that I love. The sauce was sweet. Mariana was great, and the sopprsaseta on the Sonny Boy was perfect. The Rosa was a revelation, flavors I've never had and I can't stop thinking about. I would come back for sure.

As seen on Netflix, I had to pay a visit to Pizzeria Bianco while in town. Luckily we were able to snag a table pretty easily while here and had such a great experience. I came here with a foodie colleague and while I'm pretty easy to please, my friend is a bit harder to impress. Well, we both leave here super happy, and we even saw Chris Bianco himself while dining here! We were too shy to say hi but it was still such a cool addition to our time. The pizzas were divine and you could see them as they baked in the brick oven on site. A pretty intimate setting, this spot is great for lunch and dinner alike. There's a good amount of seating and it gets pretty cozy inside. We ordered the Margherita and the Rosa with the Rosa being a personal favorite. We also got a salad, which was super fresh, and I got to try orange wine for the first time! If I'm ever back in the area, I'd definitely be back for even just the Rosa pizza alone!

I wouldn't say it was the best pizza I've ever had but it was tasty and delicious. We were in Phoenix for a work conference and felt that we had to try it so we waited an hour during a lunch break (we were quoted 1 hr and 40) versus the two plus hour waits at dinner time. Our group tried four out of the six pizza choices and each were yummy. Our favorite was the white pizza followed by the wise guy and Sonny boy. We also had the margherita. I think I personally don't like the thin middle of wood fired pizzas because it doesn't hold up the toppings but the flavor was delicious and the chew of the pizza quite nice. I would definitely recommend people try it for themselves but I can say in hindsight that I would've been okay if I hadn't had pizza here.
Be the first to ReplyFinally got to try the world famous Pizzeria Bianco.
I was going to see Springsteen that night so I got there at what I thought was early 4:15pm on a Tuesday. He said it would be about an hour wait and it was. While waiting I talked to a lady who said she's been trying to eat here for four years. I did check on my wait time once and he was quoting people 3.5 hours! On a Tuesday!! It does only hold 42 people. But... It was worth the wait. I got the "Sonny Boy" - tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, gaeta olives and salami. One bite in I had made the right choice! The only negative... I also had a diet coke and with tip it was $40. But I'd do it again. The best pizza I've ever tried! Note: the pizza might look a little burned on the crust, it wasn't.

Went to the Town and Country location and this is really good pizza. Nearly life changing type of good. We've been there twice and have gotten the Bianco Verde pizza both times since I don't eat meat. It's different and the flavors are so rich. Service was good.

The pizza is really good, the service is very good, but is too pricey I will recommend this place if you don't want to go broke lol
Be the first to ReplyCertainly lives up to the hype, worth the wait.
Pizza is amazing, probably in the Top 5 throughout the US. Chris Bianco is the nicest guy ever, watching him interact with his staff, you can see he treats everyone like family.
Be the first to ReplyDon't bother.
Pretentious and rude. So what if it's great pizza, the front staff act like jerks.
Be the first to ReplyBest pizza in the world and I've been to Italy.
If you're in phoenix, this should be your first stop. No joke, greatest pizza you've ever had! We go every week as an end of rue week celebration.
Be the first to ReplyDestination worthy pizza.
My number 1 stop when traveling to Phoenix. It's a small space but the accompanying bar next door is great for a glass of beer, wine or cocktail while waiting.

We arrived 1/2 hour before they opened on a weekday and were second in line. Were waited on right away after we were seated. We started with spiedini which was delicious! And then for the main attractions - pizza! We tried Margherita, Biancoverde, and Wiseguy. All were great! Not the best pizza we've ever had especially for the price but did not disappoint.

The sauce made the pizza outstanding, ingredients are so fresh and it comes out in the flavor. I would definitely return when in phoenix.
Be the first to ReplyAfter coming here for decades I must downgrade my review.
Six of us left disappointed. We wanted 5-6 pizzas but can no longer order your pizza in two servings so our final slices were cold. Also a bunch of our crusts were burnt. I've never left crusts behind in 20 years. Service used to be friendly. Now it's cold and unhelpful. Chris, how could you let this happen?

Food is as good as everyone says and there's a bar next door you can wait at. It took about two hours for us to get in but we knew that going in and it was fine. Staff are so nice!!
Be the first to ReplyWe were prepared for the wait.
Our wait was 2 hours. We drank some expensive beer at the picnic tables next door, which they also own. We had a group of 7. We ordered one of each of the 5 pizzas. Some interesting and different. There was a lot of crust left on our plates. Crust is very thin and a little burnt, so be prepared for that. It was not soggy, so they did a good job with the right amount of toppings. The caprese salad was delicious. Probably won't go again if in Phoenix.

Walked up solo at 1:00pm and the place had about 7 tables open inside and the entire patio was empty. Caught t it at an amazing time. I was told 2 hour wait. I questioned why as there was an incredible amount of open space. Solo people have to wait for the bar no matter how many tables are open. Not ideal customer service. Walked out and will never go back. Had it before, it's good, but not good enough for that attitude.

I actually did not know Pizzeria Bianco was featured on Netflix til I was Yelping my way in preparation for my Phoenix foodie weekend. Then it was like game on ~ we gotta try here! We arrived about half hour before they opened at 11am on a Friday and we were the 3rd one in line. So if you want the least amount of time waiting for a table, I think that is the way to go.The complimentary bread and olive oil was great! Since we weren't sure if we will come back, we shared:Homemade Mozz with veggies and olive oil - the cheese was delicious! I had to stop myself for eating it all in anticipating our 3 pizzas. 5/5Rosa - This was actually a bit sweet with the red onion and pistachios 4/5Sonny Boy - With salami and olives, hubby decided to add mushrooms 3/5Wise Guy - roasted onion and fennel sausage. 4/5The pizzas are great with the chewy dough and a bit of crunch. We definitely had leftovers and luckily the hotel we stayed at had a microwave. We had it for brunch after our 5K Run the next day and it was still good! It is great pizza but I don't think it earns THE best pizza title. I would like to try the lunch menu at the LA location sometimes that sells by the slice instead of ordering the whole pie.
Be the first to ReplyWait sucks but it lives up to they hype.
Its amazing what just the best, simple, fresh ingredients can do. Get this place on your bucket list. It's special.

My friend recommended I spotted by Pizzeria Bianco while I was in Phoenix. I have to say, I wasn't disappointed! I ordered their margherita pizza and it was really good. I normally have digestive issues with some cheese used in pizza. This wasn't the case with this place. My waiter was good with giving me recommendations about their pizza. I was disappointed they ran out of dessert by 5 pm! Another thing to take note of is the long wait times. Since I went by myself, I was seated faster than bigger parties.
Be the first to ReplyOn a Tuesday, mid afternoon, the wait was 1hr & 45 min.
Beautiful location. Great staff. Chef Bianco himself was there which was cool. Super nice guy. Ordered the Rosa, margarita, and the market salad.Salad - 4/5. Wanted a little more salt and acidityRosa - 3/5. Definitely unique. Loved the crunch of the nuts. Was a little oily for me. Margherita- 4/5. Loved the dough (Rosa too). Loved the char, crunch, and chew. Sauce was good. Was the food good? Absolutely. Was it the best Naples style pizza in the US I've had? No. Still waiting to give that title away. Would I wait in line again? Probably not. But worth a one time visit.
