Great spot for classic artisan style pizza.
Nothing to write home about. Varasano's in ATL trumps, etc. Don't get me wrong, it is good, but it has positioned itself as a "must stop" for tourist ls coming to town. You see multitudes of tourists taking selfies and group photos outside to post on their social media. It was the firs to market itself as the "first" of it's kind in PHX, but meh. Go there, get a good pie, but if the wait is more than 20 minutes...move on. Location is great, right in downtown, so you can't beat that. A little tip...the house next to it is their bar with "counter" service. So you can grab a drink, snatch a place outside and be served deli style. This does make the experience a little better. In and out and on with your downtown adventure!!!

Was born and raised in Phoenix and holy smokes it's crazy how much popularity this place has received over the years. Also thanks to Chefs Table for putting it out there because it really does live up to it. This place is constantly busy but the wait times always go by fast! Go to is always the market salad and the margherita pizza with funnel sausage! Also there's a bar right next door if you wanna grab drinks while you wait and a cute coffee shop right on the other side if you need some caffeine.
Be the first to Reply2 hours+ is too long to wait for Pizzeria Bianco.
I know that now, after I did! Would not do it again. BUT, it was delicious! I'll stop by, to check the wait time, when I'm in the area next...
Be the first to ReplyI only wish they would open in San Diego.
Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. From the chew on the crust to the tang of the sauce. The cream mozz to the fresh basil. Just the perfect pizza.
Be the first to ReplyIf you watched Chefs Table on Netflix, you may be familiar
If you watched Chefs Table on Netflix, you may be familiar with Chef Chris Bianco who started this one little pizz concept that blew up and expanded into many locations. Previously, folks would come from far and wide to eat his pies. I was visiting, so of course, I had to come check it out. Service- my server was great, but he didnt tell me his name, and it was not on my receipt. He had glasses, buzz cut, cute black guy. Funny and friendly, and chatty, which I enjoyed while I was there solo. I also chatted with what looked like the manager, an older gentleman. He was so personalable. I told him I was from Houston, and we chatted about that a while. I will say both server and manager made me feel very welcomed and relaxed, and that's important to me. Food- I ordered Biancoverde pizza based on the server recommendation and his personal favorite. It includes ricotta and arugula. Looks unassuming, but very tasty. It's basically a personal thin crust pizza. You could easily split or eat one pie yourself. I wanted to try one more pie. Next, I ordered the Wise guy pizza. I loved the smoky mozzarella and onions, lots of sausage, maybe too much? I had a piece and took the rest to go. But best to eat it fresh. You can only order 1 pie as you go. There was a steady flow of repeat customers, family's, conference attendees, college students (its right next to ASU), and solo dinners. Business seems to be doing well!
Be the first to ReplyI'll be honest.
Every review for this place is probably the same. I haven't ready them, but I assume people will say that to LOVE this place you must first love Neapolitan pizza. If you are a fan of New York, Detroit, or Chicago, you might not love this style of pizza. Small pizzas. Not the usual sauce and cheese or other toppings. But what it does have is incredible crust, fresh beautiful toppings, and it's actually delicious. There was 6 of us and we ate 8 pizzas. So be prepared for roughly a pizza per person. Our favorite was actually the one with only sauce and no cheese. The sauce was that good. Also Amazing service. We got there early. They opened at 11, we got in line at 10:20 and we were fourth. If you have plans on going, get there early.
Be the first to ReplyI'm updating my review from 11 years ago as I have to give
I'm updating my review from 11 years ago as I have to give them props for longevity and consistency and they earn the 4th star. I came here with my cyclist friend who lives in Phoenix but has never been here - so this was a perfect place to re-evaluate and gauge his reaction as well. The place is quaint with outside patio seating and small indoor seating. Even though it was 90+ outdoors it was around 6:30pm so felt comfortable in or outdoors. They have valet parking for $10 adjacent to the entrance if you can't find nearby street parking. We had an estimated 30 minute wait which wasn't bad for a Thursday evening. We had time for a drink next door at the cool house called Bar Bianco which has a few choices of local craft beer. We were seated inside and both ordered our standard pizza order - I got pepperoni added to a Margherita base and friend got sausage. The pizza came out fresh from the wood fired oven a few minutes later and it was perfectly charred and chewy crust. The pepperoni also had the nice cups with some nice grease which made it scrumptious. We both easily finished our individual sized pies and were not overly stuffed. So all and all a great experience for us. Bravo Chris Bianco for keeping up the service and quality

A disappointment, I have to honestly admit, I am surprised to write this but this Pizzeria is way over hyped, and its expensive...

they've gone way down in quality since ex-president little hands came in and slimed all over the place
Be the first to ReplyRarely does a place live up to its hype, but this did.
Wait was an hour on the nose. The pizzas were great, but the crust and sauce stood out. The crust had just the right amount of carbon char that I love. The sauce was sweet. Mariana was great, and the sopprsaseta on the Sonny Boy was perfect. The Rosa was a revelation, flavors I've never had and I can't stop thinking about. I would come back for sure.

As seen on Netflix, I had to pay a visit to Pizzeria Bianco while in town. Luckily we were able to snag a table pretty easily while here and had such a great experience. I came here with a foodie colleague and while I'm pretty easy to please, my friend is a bit harder to impress. Well, we both leave here super happy, and we even saw Chris Bianco himself while dining here! We were too shy to say hi but it was still such a cool addition to our time. The pizzas were divine and you could see them as they baked in the brick oven on site. A pretty intimate setting, this spot is great for lunch and dinner alike. There's a good amount of seating and it gets pretty cozy inside. We ordered the Margherita and the Rosa with the Rosa being a personal favorite. We also got a salad, which was super fresh, and I got to try orange wine for the first time! If I'm ever back in the area, I'd definitely be back for even just the Rosa pizza alone!
Be the first to ReplyThis is a solid pizza joint.
I wouldn't say it was the best pizza I've ever had but it was tasty and delicious. We were in Phoenix for a work conference and felt that we had to try it so we waited an hour during a lunch break (we were quoted 1 hr and 40) versus the two plus hour waits at dinner time. Our group tried four out of the six pizza choices and each were yummy. Our favorite was the white pizza followed by the wise guy and Sonny boy. We also had the margherita. I think I personally don't like the thin middle of wood fired pizzas because it doesn't hold up the toppings but the flavor was delicious and the chew of the pizza quite nice. I would definitely recommend people try it for themselves but I can say in hindsight that I would've been okay if I hadn't had pizza here.
Be the first to ReplyFinally got to try the world famous Pizzeria Bianco.
I was going to see Springsteen that night so I got there at what I thought was early 4:15pm on a Tuesday. He said it would be about an hour wait and it was. While waiting I talked to a lady who said she's been trying to eat here for four years. I did check on my wait time once and he was quoting people 3.5 hours! On a Tuesday!! It does only hold 42 people. But... It was worth the wait. I got the "Sonny Boy" - tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, gaeta olives and salami. One bite in I had made the right choice! The only negative... I also had a diet coke and with tip it was $40. But I'd do it again. The best pizza I've ever tried! Note: the pizza might look a little burned on the crust, it wasn't.

Went to the Town and Country location and this is really good pizza. Nearly life changing type of good. We've been there twice and have gotten the Bianco Verde pizza both times since I don't eat meat. It's different and the flavors are so rich. Service was good.

The pizza is really good, the service is very good, but is too pricey I will recommend this place if you don't want to go broke lol
Be the first to ReplyCertainly lives up to the hype, worth the wait.
Pizza is amazing, probably in the Top 5 throughout the US. Chris Bianco is the nicest guy ever, watching him interact with his staff, you can see he treats everyone like family.
Be the first to ReplyDon't bother.
Pretentious and rude. So what if it's great pizza, the front staff act like jerks.
Be the first to ReplyBest pizza in the world and I've been to Italy.
If you're in phoenix, this should be your first stop. No joke, greatest pizza you've ever had! We go every week as an end of rue week celebration.
Be the first to ReplyDestination worthy pizza.
My number 1 stop when traveling to Phoenix. It's a small space but the accompanying bar next door is great for a glass of beer, wine or cocktail while waiting.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic! So worth the very long wait to get in.
The pizza was promoted to us as the best pizza in the Country (USA)...well...its not a big stretch. I am from Jersey and have lots of NYC and Jersey pizza experience. I will say, without a doubt that Pizzeria Bianco is ABSOLUTELY the top pizza I've had.
Be the first to ReplyTonight's dinner was a one of a kind experience! A year
Tonight's dinner was a one of a kind experience! A year ago, my boyfriend and I watched Netflix Chef's Table Pizza Season 1 and they showcased Chris Bianco founder of Pizzeria Bianco located in Phoenix. Ever since we watched this episode, I have been obsessed with getting a chance to try Chris' pizzas. Finally, now that we are in AZ, we decided to take a day trip from Tucson to Phoenix to visit Pizzeria Bianco. We arrived at 3:40 pm and put our name in and they said the wait was going to be about an hour so we went shopping. It was less than 30 minutes and they texted us to let us know our table is ready. Their menu was small with not a lot of options to choose from but the items they have are exceptional. We ordered 3 pizzas: Rosa, Sonny boy, and Biancoverde. Rosa was the pizza that made them famous and I have to say that I completely understand why. Sonny boy was equally delicious but in its own right for all the right reasons. My favorite though was the biancoverde because it was exceptional! I can't describe how wonderful the pizza tasted. The mozzarella, the tomato, basil, and meats were all incredibly fresh as you take your first bite you'll notice the difference immediately. The fresh ingredients mixed with cheese, flour, meats, and veggies--I can't describe just how amazing this pizza experience truly was. I give it a 110% spectacular on all levels and that includes their staff. In conclusion, the pizzas were so good and totally worth the drive, wait, and it's definitely a must try. The only reason why I didn't give them a full 5 stars is because we waited for our pizzas for over an hour. Other than that, everything was fantastic!
Be the first to ReplyThis place is THE BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD.
Prior to heading to Phoenix I was told about this place and I thought that there was no way that it could live up to the hype. However it really really did. The pizzas were incredible, the salads were so tasty, and the vibe was perfect. I put in my name at 4:30 and ended up being seated about an hour later. It's worth waiting but I would plan on getting there on the earlier side. There is a bar where you can get snacks and booze. They do take reservations but you have to book way out!!
Be the first to ReplyAfter coming here for decades I must downgrade my review.
Six of us left disappointed. We wanted 5-6 pizzas but can no longer order your pizza in two servings so our final slices were cold. Also a bunch of our crusts were burnt. I've never left crusts behind in 20 years. Service used to be friendly. Now it's cold and unhelpful. Chris, how could you let this happen?

Food is as good as everyone says and there's a bar next door you can wait at. It took about two hours for us to get in but we knew that going in and it was fine. Staff are so nice!!
