Been to this place in Silverlake, it's Indian and Italian fusion, some of the best cuisines out there.Parking: 2/10, it's hard to find parking here, I think it's an LA problem, back in the day, they used to give out permits to businesses if they could accommodate parking, a restaurant with 30 tables must have 60 spots, but LA city council is lacking. Orange County's doing a great job with this, plenty of parking for every businessAmbience: 6/10 kind of feels like India but with a more diverse crowd, lots of tables crammed into a room, and they tell you to leave after you've done eating coz they have customers waiting. Nostalgic experience hahahaService: 8/10, they have a 19% service fee included with the bill, I think USA is the only country where they expect you to visit the business and pay their employees, hopefully the owner pays the employees the Service fee. Considering the mean pay in LA is 72k a year It would be better if they had a tier system for service fee. for bills less than $150 and greater than $150, for example $500 bill would have $95 service fee, this ain't a NASA type job tbh. Food: 8/10, I think their cash cow is Dosa Onion Rings, it probably costs 50 cents to make them and they sell it to you for $9, similar to how In N Out Employees ask if you need "Fries and Drink" with your order, coz that's where the moneys at.Recommended items,Lamb Sliders: 10/10 Build your own Pizza: 9/10, this ain't your Dave Portnoy Barstool Pizza, it's got a flop and no undercarriage, it's about the tasteLamb Pasta: 8/10Annapurna and Jaggarac drinks: 8/10I asked the server working there about what she likes to order, she says ABC is popular, XYZ is popular, but she doesn't eat a lot of it coz it's spicy! Lady, we said yes to pronouns, you gotta say yes to good food.Overall 7.5/10, with better parking and a bigger room 8.5/10. Pics attached for items.
