I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Nice atmosphere, great food, and great service. I had the chicken marsala and the balsamic chicken pizza. Both were outstanding.

Absolutely horrible!!! Our brushetta was drenched in something greasy! Portions way smaller. It was so greasy I couldn't even eat it. Been going there for years. Never again! Very sad it has come to this!!
Be the first to ReplyThe food and service were good.
It is reasonably priced and has a nice setting away from the casino. I will go back when I want a good Italian meal.
Be the first to ReplyHad a girls night dinner here.
Food was excellent. Service was very fast and friendly. The Ambiance was perfect. We were seated towards the back and by the kitchen. We had great conversations and we were surprised by a "happy birthday" dessert. Thank you so much, that really made my girl friend's night.

We were there today for dinner! Of course, we had the Veal Parmesan with a salad. The veal was lightly breaded with Motzarella cheese and a delicious marinara sauce. If you have a taste for veal, this is the place. Our waiter, Tim was polite and very accommodating. We were seated at one on the high tables near the bar which provided a good view of the restaurant . So, should you be at Sunset Station Casino and feel peckish stop in and have a wonderful Italian dinner!
Be the first to ReplyWe haven't been here in years and decided to give it a try.
1st thing is service and it was excellent. Shout out to Kat who was very attentive but not intrusive. 2nd thing is price. The prices were kinda high (for us) 10 bucks for a Ceasars salad that was really good and large enough to split for two. In fact some of the portions are large enough to split for 2. 3rd thing is the food. The spaghetti that came with my eggplant parm was cooked perfectly, not too soft or chewy and had just enough sauce. The eggplant parm was delicious and I will definitely order it again. It wasn't enough to split at least for me but the portion was generous. I took 2/3rds of my spaghetti home.. Husband had the chicken marsala with linguine which is his favorite and he loved it. I saw a fresh pizza go by and it looked good. The dessert menu was good but we weren't in the mood and we were kinda full. So in conclusion, everything was delicious and the bill wasn't too high and I would highly recommend it.

01.07.24 marks my third brunch service with Pasta Cucina. Brunch is offered every first Sunday of the month and today they debuted a new menu. Previously the menu had flatbread pizzas. Those have all been removed and replaced with pasta dishes. They've also added a tiramisu waffle dish (pictured) as well as a new breakfast sandwich. I mentioned in my previous review how Chef Jeremy allowed me to try the bacon jam last month which is the star of the new sandwich. I didn't try the sandwich this time around but I will next month. If you've never been to Pasta Cucina it's located in Sunset Station Casino. The restaurant is cozy with a moderate noise level. The restaurant is designed as if you're stirring in a beautiful courtyard with lemon trees all around. The staff is very attentive and always ready to offer suggestions. Each visit with Pasta Cucina I've been approached by the chef asking about my experience and it's lovely they take the feedback. While I personally didn't like new Tiramisu Waffle it's only because I don't like Tiramisu. The cocoa powder is a bit too bitter for my taste and I prefer a savory breakfast. This is why I usually stick with the tried and true short rib Benedict on each visit (even when ordering multiple entrees). The tiramisu waffle dish did have a very nice cream layer which softened the waffles nicely. I can see it being a real hit with other guests. I look forward to their next brunch service which should be on Sunday 02.04.24.
Be the first to ReplyWould have left a 5 star review but didn't get good service.
We went for the happy hour special (which they market so much) so we went just so we can try the food and drinks. When we got there at 8pm, they don't even give you the happy hour menu when you request to sit at the bar (which the bar is only way you can get happy hour specials) The Bartender seemed like he hated his job, lack of energy, didn't even greet us, or even talk to us. Didn't ask us how was the food. Just dry. But other than that the food was great. Flavorful. Love the vibe of the restaurant.

Food is ok Ordered the Marguerite pizza and minestrone soup. Bread was warm and fresh. Server was very good. Took waaay too long to get our food.
Be the first to ReplyWent to Pasta Cucina for the spouse's birthday.
Gave it 3 stars for friendly staff, quick service, and the outdoor ambiance. Now the food is another story. Appetizers: calamari was rubbery; caprese tomatoes were too big and thick, small slice of mozzarella and weak basil. Dinner: shrimp risotto was thick and gummy, flavor was just OK. Braised beef and the shrimp scampi were bland. Desserts were OK. Chocolate cake, cannolis were good. The lemon sorbet vodka dessert drink was the best part. Overall we will not be returning for seconds.

I received a coupon from Station Casino to enjoy $10 off on a meal. We settled on Pasta Cucino for our dining experience. I ordered the shrimp scampi. It was not good! The dish was very bland...the shrimp tasted as though it was boiled...and no garlic.. Can you believe...no garlic in shrimp!!!! The spaghetti was also tasteless. My husband ordered the the veal Parmesan...excellent (I tasted it). He described the spaghetti as fair! Our waitress, Andrea was good and Isiah the busser was excellent and kept bread coming while we waited for our food.I would say take a trip to Sunset Casino and stop in Pasta Cusina. Just don't order the Shrimp Scampi.Note: Our waitress talked to the manager about the Scampi who was kind enough to take $11 off our bill.
Be the first to ReplyWe came here for Valentines dinner.
We made a reservation on OpenTable and we were seated within minutes. The restaurant is truly a hidden gem inside the Sunset Station Casino. The dining room is made to look like you are dining outside. It is very beautiful. We started with the calamari which was very delicious. For my meal I had the spaghetti and meatballs in the restaurant let me substitute the pasta for angel hair. My fiancé had the chicken Parmesan which he loved. The prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent.
Be the first to ReplyNeed a sit down dinner for some pasta, but casual enough
Need a sit down dinner for some pasta, but casual enough for jeans or a date night? Pasta Cucina will be a good go to then! Usually you don't need a reservation as they have plenty of seating, but they can get busy during peak dinner hours or holidays. Even so, the wait time could be about 20 to 30 minutes. Which isn't bad. So if you do need to make sure you get a seat, then call to make a reservation. So far, everything I have had on their menu is consistently delicious. My favorite is the carbonara. Not made with cream! Thank goodness. Rich and hearty. The Alfredo is creamy and plenty. Dinner does come with a side of bread and butter and it's very fresh. Would recommend.

If you are staying at Sunset Station and want a nice place to dine, then this is a good choice.I had the chopped salad, and that I wouldn't recommend. The radicchio was way too bitter, there was too much of it in the salad. The salad wasn't chopped enough either. The pasta portions are generous though and are decent. They give you bread with your meal. No draft beer, only bottled. Food seemed like it took a while, but we had a party of like 17. Overall I do recommend this place.

Went here during their reverse Happy Hour (7:30 pm to closing either at 9 or 10 pm depending on the day.) It had to be had at the happy hour. They had a small amount of treats for $5-$6 and we ordered most of them. The only meh one was the little panini sandwich. The shrimp scampi was good but a bit too rich. The caprese salad was fantastic, best I've had, please order it. We ordered both the glass of red and white wine they had. The red was boring but the white was pretty good. Both also $5.We also ordered the calamari for like $12, fantastic. There was complimentary bread and two kinds of olive oil, great compliments themselves. Whether you are new to Vegas or a regular, try this spot for Reverse Happy Hour, definitely worth it. Service was excellent.

I came to Pasta Cucina with a large group of colleagues for our department holiday party. The restaurant was very accomodating to us. Good wait staff that was always right there to keep our waters, sodas and ice teas refilled. They brought out fresh bread each time a basket ran out. They took pictures of the group. They joked around with us. In terms of service, this was a good experience. As for the food, it was just ok as far as what I ate. Some good bites. Some not so good. The fried mozzarella was a highlight from the appetizer spread that we had. The fried calamari was not my thing. I should have enjoyed the bread but there was just something about it that I didn't care for. My entree, eggplant parmesan, was pretty solid. The eggplant stayed crisp on the underside and the marinara on top had a little spice. The pasta on the side was cooked to al dente which was perfect. I've had better eggplant parm but this was an acceptable dinner.Dessert was a standout to me. I had the canoli. Crisp, creamy and sweet. Chopped pistachios adorned the ends. And they were totally filled. Not just the ends like I have had at other places that do it cheap. It is safe to say that dessert was my favorite part of this experience. In the end, this was a generally positive dinner party. I found issues with some of the food but the service was good and dessert even better. 3.5 stars.
Be the first to ReplyHad a wonderful experience here last night.
Called for a reservation, Tim got us situated. We have a rambunctious 4 y/o in our party so we requested a seat away from most patrons; they accommodated us beautifully. Our wait staff is super attentive and friendly (Andrea I believe). As for the food, everything came out delicious! I don't claim to be an Italian food expert, but their food is as good, if not better than most other Italian restaurants I've been to. Pastas are perfectly al dente, sauces are excellently seasoned - not bland at all, ingredients tasted fresh, tiramisu was hearty and apparently house made! Loved everything we ordered! Calamari - Standard fare, theirs is great, batter is not too thick.Mozallera cheese wedges - Think elevated mozzarella cheese sticksCarbonara - Legit preparation. Hearty, creamy and absolutely just delicious. Seafood Fra Diavolo - Perfectly seasoned (spicy). Seafood were fresh. Marinara sauce is one of the best we've had. Spaghetti w/ Meatballs - Delicious! Superbly seasoned meatballs!Tiramisu - House made and you can taste it! Not overly sweet!Btw, portion sizes are huge! Be sure to come on empty stomach!
Be the first to ReplySitting in this restaurant does not feel like you are in
Sitting in this restaurant does not feel like you are in Las Vegas. You can either sit at the bar and high top tables or in the main dining area which feels like you are out on a patio while inside. All the staff was friendly and accommodating as well as helped up with food recommendations. We sat in the bar at a high top for their reverse happy hour. Happy hour has a great deal on some drinks and appetizers. The food was a great portion size for sharing. We split the Caprese Salad, Shrimp Scampi and the PLT (a recommended favorite from the staff that did not disappoint!) The sizes were perfect to share but also filling. I will definitely be back to try more of their entrees!
Be the first to ReplyWhat an amazing little surprise.
The food is impeccable and the menu has so many curated delights. The service team is cheerful, attentive and their joy only adds to the experience. The shrimp risotto was breathtaking!
Be the first to ReplyWas at sunset station so we decided to try this place.
The food was good and we had good service, I would give 3.5 stars if Yelp let me . It's so hard in Vegas with all the good choices out here. Nothing was bad just not exceptional.

Wow. What a massive bummer. Not sure what happened, but the magical "cheese" pizza we got a little over a year ago is gone. The pizza we got tonight, assuming would be the same one, was beyond shockingly disappointing. It was truly worse than even microwave or cafeteria pizzas. Also super small (personal size) and cost $14. I cannot believe this is the same restaurant. I will say the waiter was awesome and felt bad and asked the chef to make one like the one we had before when we described it, but even that was only slightly better than the first. I only wish we had photo proof of the first visit's amazing pizza. What a let down. Especially that we came for a birthday to specifically have the best pizza in town. 2 stars on account of the caprese. We are so bummed.

Maybe it's best I am barely getting around to it now, because I fall in love with this place more and more each time. My husband and I stayed at Sunset for 4 nights last week. We had such an amazing experience at Pasta Cucina the 2nd night we were there, so we ate there again on the last night! Everything is amazing here. We love the caesar salad. It's always fresh and full of flavor. The bread is fantastic. The best part of the meal is the penne pasta bake! O M G it is the best pasta dish I've ever had. It's big enough for my husband and I to share. We ask for no sausage, all meatballs. It's always cheesy and cooked to perfection. Words do not describe how amazing this dish is. The sauce is flavorful and has a lovely garlic taste. The ricotta cheese is such a nice touch!! It's perfect. This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous too. This is the perfect place for a romantic meal.
