Had a reservation for two at 6:30 on a Saturday.
The hostess was very accommodating and gave us a seat near the entrance which was less hectic than the dining room. Waiter was young man from Paris and highly attentive continually checking in. Shared the burrata with ratatouille which was excellent. I had the coq Au vin: delicious. My friend had tile fish which was perfectly prepared. Plenty of bread. It got very crowded by 7:30. Definitely will become my neighborhood French bistro.

The service was impeccable and the food delicious. We had the steak au poivre and the moules marinière both cooked to perfection. We followed that with the chocolate lava cake, delish! Wine selection was on point. Reminds me of a brassiere tucked away somewhere in Paris. Will definitely go back!

Absolutely spaced out it, horrible at their job. They make us wait 15 mins for a table. As our third party member enters the establishment, they tell us we have to wait another 15 mins because everyone isn't there although we were all there. I don't understand why they couldn't mention that when we asked for a table for 3 and mentioned we were waiting on one more person. Was excited to give the place a try but whoever was seating people 03/24/2024 doesn't use their head too often.

Disorganized, loud and rude! If you want to cater to only one kind of audience, say so! People its loud! And you are in the hospitality business so maybe ask twice and listen to what your customers are saying!! TLDR: we were asked to leave a 6 persons table, we protested because we got the table 30 mins late, they offered the bar & we made our intentions clear while walking to the bar sullenly but respectfully. One of our friends decided he dint want to stand at the overcrowded bar and walked out but how dare WE have an opinion and the rest of us were shooed away too. Thank you for making us realize you are not brown people friendly, fuck you and I dont ask to be pardoned!
Be the first to ReplyDecent food but absolutely shit service.
We were the only brown people at the restaurant for brunch and were treated like garbabe. Made to wait 30 mins for a table that we had reserved well in advance. We waited happily, ordered a whole lot of drinks, and were quickly asked to wrap up so the next group could come in. Took our drinks away and very rudely asked us to leave (even though several groups of white people sat way before us and were not being asked to leave). He then got upset coz one member of our group walked out - (you literally asked us to leave but it's funny how you assumed we were being rude to you). Very very loud music and terrible service. Never coming back.

I've been here over 37 times and each one is magical and memorable! The low lighting and music you never know what time of day it is and you are able to get lost in time. The appetizers, the mains, and desert that I chose in the form of a Expresso Martini with vodka were delish! The waiter was very attentive. We were a large group but he managed 16 of us single-handedly.

This cute restaurant in the east village is surprisingly affordable. I made a reservation about a week in advance and we were seated right away. I definitely recommend making a reservation for brunch because they were packed. The tables are really close together which is inconvenient for getting up and if it's winter there is no where to keep your jacket or bag. However, they did offer to hang up our coats. The food was good and it came out quickly. I was served the most flawless omelette I've ever seen in my life and it came with a side salad and potatoes. The garlic roasted potatoes were so flavorful! My friend said the Tunisian eggs were delicious as well. I wanted to try their french toast but I decided to go savory instead. I'll definitely have to come back to try it. We did the bottomless brunch and the staff were very attentive. They were constantly refilling our waters and they gave us a carafe full of mimosa so we did not have to keep flagging them down for refills. This place had been on my list for a while and I'm so glad I finally got to try it. I definitely recommend!

2024 will be the year of brunch! We stopped into Pardon My French on Sunday for an early brunch. Only a few tables were occupied when we arrived. This place is cash-only so plan accordingly, although I think there is an ATM or two nearby. Our waitress took our orders pretty quickly. We ordered the pancakes, French toast, and eggs with bacon. The pancakes came out looking pretty with fruit scattered all around and a dollop of whipped cream. They tasted as good as they looked. My girlfriend enjoyed her French toast and the eggs and bacon were good too. Within 30 minutes of being seated, this place got PACKED. My friend told me that PMF is known for being a much more rowdy brunch spot to enjoy a mimosa buzz, so I can see that they were quickly heading that way. Aside from the inconvenience of having to bring cash, the food was good and the service was decently fast. I would return in the future!

Went for brunch. Very busy and service was off but management was aware and apologetic and did their best to make it right. Good food. Cool place. Cash only. Great little East village spot.

Loved my PMF drink (a spicy margarita) a lot of the staff speak French which is hot. The drinks are amazing! The food is spectacular!! I got the beef tartare, truffle fries and a house special ratatouille with mozzarella!!! Like whoa!!! They were perfect! Waiting staff super attentive. I will definitely come back!

Add PMF to the best martini in the EV list, and at a French restaurant of course. Gracious, elegant, pitch-perfect service at a high volume, bustling room full of beautiful, fashionable people. A perfectly paced meal at peak Friday night; we were not rushed at all, felt so welcome the whole time. Food-wise, it's better than McNally by a surprising margin. This is a gorgeous hidden gem and you better go before you can't get in anymore.

Exceptional, outstanding and fun!! Thank you PMF for an unforgettable Sunday Brunch. The food was delicious. Servers were friendly, attentive, fun and very accommodating. The atmosphere charming. If you are fun you need to brunch at PMF, the BEST!!!!

I have been meaning to try this place as it is right next to my office. Ambiance inside is great, service was excellent, food was excellent as well! The main reason I give the place 4 stars instead of five is because of the paper straws, I hate paper straws. If i'm being very nit picky the bread and butter was too hard, steak slightly undercooked however the food was great and the fries were unique and addicting.
Be the first to ReplyFood is not all that, pricy for what you get, noisy place.
Not worth it. Find other places in town. Coffee was good. Cash only

Came here for a friends bday brunch and it was a super fun time. Good food and drinks and even better serviceWe all did bottomless brunch and we never waited long for new pitchers of mimosas to come outI got the eggs Benedict and what was great about theirs was the bread. It was actually a biscuit used instead of the traditional English muffinAll in all a great spot and worth going to

This is a great and affordable spot for brunch in the Village! My bestie made reservations for 3 of us yesterday. We got reservations about a week in advance. It was packed, so I would definitely recommend getting reservations. We had to wait a bit to be seated and it was extremely warm in the restaurant. I do wish they could have turned the air on as it would have made the experience more enjoyable. There is also only one bathroom in the whole restaurant, so there is almost always a line. Other than that, the vibe is charming and I felt like I was in a little bistro in France! Now, onto the food! I got the eggs scandinavian, whis is eggs benedict but with smoked salmon. The flavors were amazing! I loved the hollandaise and there was a good amount of salmon. It came with a side salad and potatoes. Both complimented the dish perfectly! My friends enjoyed their dishes as well. We decided to try two desserts to share! We got the chocolate lava cake and profiteroles. Both were delicious, but I felt that the chocolate cake could have had more ooze and the profiteroles ratio of puff to ice cream was a little off. The flavors were great though, especially for chocolate lovers! Our server was attentive and I appreciated that they brought carafes for the bottomless option. That way, you don't have to flag someone down every time you want a refill! I would 100% come back here and would recommend it for birthdays! They have a fun sparkler moment if you are celebrating something!

*Cash Only* - had to use the ATM across the street The waiters were very attentive and made sure we always had our water/mimosa glass filled. We ordered the following and each plate was delicious: Avocado Toast, Fruit Buttermilk Pancakes, and Eggs Benedict. They played great music, had a blast. I would recommend this place.

**Note: this place is cash-only! Loved the atmosphere, loved the food. The service was great - we made a reservation and were seated quickly. Not only that, but after ordering our food, it arrived within 15 minutes max.Amazing bottomless mimosa experience. The food itself was fantastic, very savory. I had the Eggs Scandinavian, my partner got the Tunisian Eggs. The Eggs Scandinavian were very flavorful and cooked perfectly. My partner's only complaint was that it felt light, so if you want a fuller brunch I'd recommend getting a third dish to split if you're with someone. (It was enough for me, but I was also full of mimosas.)
