A little out of the way
Look carefully for it near Porta Messina, quality food. Personally, I found the stockfish and dessert excellent. The staff are very friendly and do everything they can to make the wine comfortable and, unlike other "tourist" places, excellent value for money.
Very Good Local Place for Residents and Visitors
This family run restaurant prides itself on great hospitality, service, wine and quality food. Despite being in a popular tourist location, the prices are fair and the quality isn't compromised. Our group of four ordered a variety of entrees ranging from pasta dishes to veal to fish. All were very well-prepared and as tasty as we had hoped. The only negatives, and certainly not deal breakers, were an appetizer of fried calamari and two desserts. The serving of calamari just looked smaller than what we saw coming out and served at nearby tables, and although the waiter sold us on the tiramisu being the best in town, it was hardly that. To be honest, as a veteran tiramisu consumer, this was rather pedestrian. The cassata cake was solid, but we thought it was rather small. I give them a solid 4 based on the entrees, the local vibe and the service.

We arrived in Taormina late at 11pm and didn’t think we’d find anywhere to eat… thankfully we walked past here…it was still busy and still serving. Also seemed to be popular with locals, always a good sign! The food was delicious, as was the house red wine. Perfect start to our long weekend in Taormina. Highly recommend.
Good food
The best evening meal we had during our stay in Taormina. Both food and service were very satisfactory. The only thing that detracted from our experience was being seated on the upper terrace on a very windy night with the plastic shades pulled down and flapping in the wind. It became so uncomforable that we left without ordering dessert or coffee.
Authentic, frienflt and tasty
Authentic, friendly and tasty. We stayed at the hotel pretty much next door so a little reluctant but having read the reviews we chanced it. Amazing experience, clearly lots of regulars. Great wine recommendation etna White. 2 fabulous pasta dishes, very friendly service. The ‘Sicilian Pole’ with ‘skin like mozarella’ was superb

Everything was excellent The raw fish dish as a starter, the sea bass and prawns afterwards, the pasta for the children and the desserts Very attentive and warm welcome

Highly recommended restaurant
We had lunch with friends in this restaurant very close to the center of Taormina. Exquisite lunch to say the least, attentive and polite staff, Tagliatelle alla Nino highly recommended, an explosion of taste, a perfect combination of sea and mountains 👍.

Good restaurant a few steps from Porta Messina and Corso di Taormina, pleasant cuisine and relaxing atmosphere..
Very reasonable price and excellent quality of food
This restaurant has been running for over 70 years and you can tell that they are confident in what they serve. There were lots of locals and honestly the food and the service were excellent. The artichoke salad was extremely tasty.
Taormina dinner
The location was great. The dinner menu is comprehensive..we had scaloppini marsala snd scalopinni pizzeria with tomatoes and olives..The veal was beautiful..so tender and wonderful flavours. Terrific service as well. 10/10. 🥰
Good local cuisine
Good, fresh and tasty dishes. Crudo of the sea at the top 👌 Fresh fish and excellent cooking. Smiling and responsive service. Too bad the terrace wasn’t open🙁
Lunch in Taormina
We had lunch today at this trattoria just outside the main street of Taormina. Very friendly staff and fast service. We ate fish; also very good and very fresh raw. In my humble opinion the prices are a bit high. Maybe the location... Anyway I recommend it

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
