A must in Tenerife
Lived up to all of our expectations. From friendly transfer service to the restaraunt to the transfer back and everything in between was fantastic. Family of 3 and we all left very happy following a super meal and service. Particular highlights for me were the Indian Spiced Cod to start and the very inexspensive bottle of Malbec we had with our meal. Love that the table is yours for the evening which makes everything so relaxed in such a beautiful setting. We will be back.
A must visit restaurant in Tenerife
I have been coming to Tenerife since 1986 and I can honestly say that the meal I had here was outstanding and the best value for money meal I have ever had. Set in stunning surroundings up in the mountains and the most friendly staff it is an amazing must do in Tenerife. Book early before you come as there is a long waiting list for very good reason.
Birthday treat
Absolutely fantastic food as ever the pate and Mexican meat balls starters were delicious and the rack of lamb was lovely, the only place I've ever eaten it and wasn't disappointed, the brisket melted in your Kathy and the team were very attentive and Sonia who picked us up and dropped us off from our hotel thank you all again for lovely evening Di and Jane
Top restaurant in the area
This restaurant is always a must to visit during our holiday. We always book well in advance of our trip as it’s hard to get a table. Once again we had a fantastic meal with all food being of a very high standard Cathy who owns the restaurant with her husband is just the perfect hostess. We always feel as if we are dining at a friends home. Selina who helps is just lovely as well and is always so helpful and smiling. We are coming back in October and have already booked our table 😂

The people here are lovely with lots of communication. Great value 2 course menu and kudos to the chef who delivers food to a very high standard.
Best restaurant I’ve found in Tenerife, simply a must for my future trips
Something different for while your are away and simply a must Collection from your hotel is sorted, trip up the mountain then into an old building. From the first greeting service is amazing and the family run business is simply amazing and that’s all before you try the food. We ate at great restaurants all week and this was head and shoulders above the rest and no where near the dearest. 3 amazing courses in a lovely setting Cannot praise this restaurant enough Get booking
Great around.
Our first visit to Oliver’s. Once you get over the wonderful views you will be met by a warm welcome and a wonderful menu. We were here for dinner but relatively early but were assured we had the table all evening, which made a welcome change from some restaurants we have visited. We settled in to have some amazing food from a slightly eclectic menu, but it all worked and it was an great evening. The quality of the wine matched the food and the surroundings and the wonderful service finished it off perfectly. I would highly recommend. Although book very early as there is quite a waiting list and I can understand why!

After reading reviews on this restaurant we booked it back in April when we booked our holiday for Tenerife for a visit on 22nd May. Cathy at the restaurant arranged a car to pick us up at our hotel in Los Cristianos to whisk us away up to Arona. The views are amazing from up there and Oliver’s didn’t disappoint. From the moment we stepped out of the car we were in love with the place, formally a 200 year old Finca Cathy and Chris have transformed it into an old world restaurant, they only cater for 28 covers a night (Chris doing all the cooking). A warm welcome from Cathy and excellent service. Food was fantastic and the atmosphere was brilliant. It was as if we were regular visitors. I’d definitely recommend a visit if you’re over here but be warned you need to book well in advance!!
Absolute Perfection in every way
This is our 4th time eating at this amazing venue and yet again it was out of this world. From the pick up at our hotel, to the lovely welcome, amazing table service and Oh the best food ever . Can’t wait to get back later in the year . Thanks to Cathy and her amazing team.
Fabulous
We were lucky enough to get a table through a cancellation and can honestly say we had an absolutely fantastic experience from being picked up by Larry to meeting Cathy and her team and then experiencing the fantastic food prepared by Cathy’s husband. All 4 of us could have picked anything from the menu there was so much fantastic food on offer. Also the banter with Cathy and the Scarborough connection made us arrive as guests and leave as friends. Cannot recommend this lovely restaurant highly enough

Absolutely excellent food, location and staff. Couldn’t fault anything and we will be back again! 😋 We had the brisket, the lamb shank and the fillet steak and they were all wonderful.
Lovely meal with excellent customer service!
We first came here last year and loved our meal. The same was true this year, the food is excellent and the staff are so friendly, it’s a small place so has a really intimate atmosphere. You can also arrange taxis as part of your visit which I would highly recommend. We had a lovely night and really enjoyed the experience.
Out of Sight but not Out of Mind
On recommendation we’d booked several months in advance for this 28 cover quirky restaurant in the hills. Bookings are staggered across the evening to help kitchen cope and also enable you to have your table for pretty much as long as you want. On offer is a 2 course for €36 menu with around 8-10 starters and a dozen or so mains (a few with €6 supplement). Separately there was a choice of around 8 desserts priced at €6.50. There were some really good menu choices. We couldn’t find the menu online beforehand but that might be our lack of looking in the right place! We sat on the terrace with heaters as it was one of the rare colder nights. GF also snared a blanket. Welcome was warm from both Cathy and Selina. The main restaurant area had most atmosphere but you trade off losing the views in there. After some warm bread and aioli we had starters of goats cheese and haggis scotch egg. The latter with a flex on the listed cheese dressing for a tomato based alternative. Both dishes were presented well and tasty. For mains we both chose the fillet steaks (part of the €6 supplement options), one with mushroom cream sauce and the other peppercorn. There were 6 potato options to accompany (home made chips and truffle mash for us) and a few vegetables. What was served was a huge, well cooked and tasty pair of fillets (I enjoyed the taste of both!). We decided that it would be worth finishing with dessert (perhaps sharing) and, whilst the crème brûlée was unfortunately sold out, the chocolate ganache we had instead was delicious. Drinks included Estrella on tap, a bottle of Argentinian Malbec and a half bottle of white. All fairly priced. Our pick up and drop off service cost a reasonable €25 and was friendly. A very slight delay heading home due to the balancing act of dropping other diners off too. Definitely a lovely experience.

Fabulous place! Lovely warm welcome and exceptional food. The attention to detail is incredible! Quirky yet romantic setting. The best night by far.
Great meal and location in the mountains outside pdla
They organised a taxi for us and I didn’t read too much about the reviews - except that they were good- as I wanted a bit of the element of surprise. This place is aimed at brits and quite traditional eg roast potatoes, a play on cooked breakfast etc but with a twist eg Mexican meatballs served with shot of tequila. We were staying in playa de las Américas and this was our only venture outside the resort but would highly recommend as the scenery getting to it and location were fab; great sunsets and outside garden. Food was lovely - massive portions, good quality meat, choice of 6 different types of potato etc. All the food was very good. For a special meal - but still at a reasonable price- go! You won’t regret it.

Couples meal
Just wow! What can I say. This is the 5th time we have visited. We booked this in March 23 to reserve a booking for our holiday in Jan 24. Came to Tenerife for a friend's 60th and he had no idea we had booked. Communication is excellent!!! Text on the day to say who and what time we would be picked up. Arrived at restaurant and greated with lovely friendly staff. Food is absolutely amazing as is the service. We will definitely return!!!!! Shout out to to the chef😊
Superb from start to finish
Absolutely excellent from start to finish. Great communication, great transport to collect us and bring us all back to our apartment. Loved the location, the service is fantastic and last but not least THE FOOD!! it was superb 👌 we loved everything and we had three courses. We will definitely be booking again soon. 10/10 🌟

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
