Nolita Restaurant Warszawa Reviews from The Last Year
Fine dining experience in Warsaw
Excellent dining experience! Atmosphere was warm and inviting although not stellar or beautiful. Service was top notch. Our server was very professional and he had a deep knowledge of the menu and the extensive wine list. The wine list was a book and was particularly strong with champagne. You have the choice between doing a la carte or two tasting menus. We had just arrived from California that day so we were a bit tired so opted for a la carte. Food was excellent and very creative using fresh in season ingredients. We started with a blue fin tuna tartare and foie gras with eel. Both were delicious. For our mains we had a turbot with delicious fresh morel mushrooms along with a king crab with linguine. Again, delicous. The chef/owner came by and was very engaging with both casual talk plus explaining the dishes. Really enjoyed our dinner although it is on the pricey side for sure. Highly recommend!
Nolita experience
The Nolita restaurant offers a delightful dining experience that stands out in the culinary scene. Nestled in a cozy, rustic setting, this gem showcases the best of local and international cuisine. Each dish is a masterpiece of flavors, meticulously crafted from the freshest ingredients. The service is impeccable, with staff who genuinely care about your experience, making you feel welcomed from the moment you step in.
Decent food, a little uneven. Waiter somewhat defensive in face of constructive remarks.
We went to Nolita for a weekday lunch. It was a fairly quiet time, with only three other tables occupied. The food was decent, though not spectacular. We were served brioche and sourdough bread with plain butter - not particularly memorable, and an amuse-bouche of a small octopus tentacle in flavoured olive oil - okay - covered with a crunchy translucent potato wafer - a nice concept. For starters we ordered wagyu-filled steamed dumplings in crab bisque - these (3 pieces) were tasty, with pronounced beef flavour and not overly greasy, and grilled octopus in house mayo and panko with creamed potatoes - the octopus was properly soft, but its flavour was sadly overpowered by the mayo. For mains, we had sea bass steamed Chinese-style with soy sauce, garlic, ginger and served with black rice and steamed broccoli, and turbot covered with slices of abalone and vierge sauce, with lentils and individual brussels sprouts leaves on the side. Both fish were good, coming in proper servings and not overcooked; the sea bass was the tastier one of the two. The black rice was overly tough; it should have been steam-cooked longer. Our dessert was clementine jelly, coconut foam & panna cotta, and small pink-chocolate covered crab-shaped kaffir lime mousse; tasty, and something kids will enjoy; and a nocciola soufflé with hazelnut ice-cream. The latter was disappointing - the soufflé looked good when it arrived, but inside the top 60+% was undercooked and runny, evidently taken out of the oven too soon. This being a birthday occasion, our table also received a single-portion cake with chocolate glaze and a blackcurrant filling, and the customary candle. The presentation of the food was good. The service was fine, although the waiter was a bit too dismissive when in response to his question I shared our impression of the octopus + mayo combo, and to the remark about the soufflé just responded he'd ask the chef. If one does not want to hear patrons' candid opinions, you should not ask them how they enjoyed the food. The lunch tab (1 bottle of still water, and 2 each glasses of champagne, starter, main and dessert) came out at a bit over PLN 1,000.
Good food but noisy and disproportionately expensive.
Some dishes are excellent, some are very good. Anyway the price is disproportionate, the room is elegant but rather small, crowded and noisy. I will not go back. Even if the company pays….
Mixed feeling unfortunately
Really great food. The service- professional but at the end not really taling care of you (waiting for you to pay and leave?). The chef- going out of the kitchen and talking only to some of the guests (better ones?). So mixed feeling…
Exquisite meal for special occasion
Absolutely delicious and beautiful dishes. Also if you wish to pay more you it is a place to eat some of the most expensive foods from around the world, and exquisitely prepared: waygu beef, foie gras, crab, caviar… We were there to celebrate a big birthday and were not disappointed!

I’d booked Nolita before visiting Warsaw mainly because of its very close proximity to the hotel where I’d stay and many good reviews on TripAdvisor. The 8-course Classic Tasting Menu featured flavours from a range of international cuisines. Japanese influence was particularly dominant. I really liked (a) wagyu pizza with truffle sauce and (b) grilled octopus with teriyaki sauce and wasabi. However, Peking duck wasn’t a very successful modern reinterpretation of the classic Chinese dish. Due to some hiccup with the octopus dish, I couldn’t and didn’t finish the same. I prefer not to say what exactly happened. However, the staff were very apologetic and the chef came to talk with me and serve me a special dish (agnolotti filled pumpkin purée with shaved white truffle) which was very delicious. On the whole, I’d still recommend Nolita for a high quality meal in a comfortable and elegant setting. It’s a little pricey but definitely worth it.
